Stained pillows, stinky and unhygienic toilets, hair all over the bed and pillow, Bad and super costly food. Body preparation for surgery was not done properly, leg was improperly shaved leaving hair still all over, i shaved patients leg my self. Post surgery bath given by house keeping with exactly four rub, cleaning only front body part. Nurse didn't arrive on time post surgery, as patient was unable to urinate, they delayed for about 2 hours leaving the patient in pain. I too stayed here for 3 days with patient. One of the lady was behind us to fill the review form on spot during the discharge while walking out, she behaved rudely when denied to give review. Overall hospital management is a flop. I referred my friend here but I am regretting for it.

Hygiene condition and staff behaviour are good But at the same time it charges really very high charges for it's services. Even for CBC report they will charges triple then that of other hospitals or labs. Everybody want to hv best service but only those can avail who has bank balance

Doctors and nurses are great, but that's it. Housekeeping, admin and general maintenance are pathetic. This does not feel like a NABH accredited hospital. For a private deluxe room, walls, blinds, bathroom, floors, are all dirty with blood stained blankets. Anatomical and regular bins have no lining. Visible equipments appear very old and worn out. All very disgusting. Clearly the budgets for cleanliness, hygiene, housekeeping and admin have all been cut. Investigation reports are incomplete. High costs and fees are unclear. In summary, the people care for patients, but the hospital management are just making money without investing back into the hospital.

Dr. Sumanth Raj Kb, Vascular Surgeon. This Doctor was my "Worst Nightmare today. I'm a Senior Citizen and live in Jakkur- Bangalore. I had an appointment with this Doctor on Saturday 28th with a pre confirmation. . On reaching the Fortis Hospital Cunningham Road, I was told that he was busy with an urgent procedure. (This is quite understandable as someone may be in a more serious condition) and I respect it. The reason was a Doppler test that was done on 28th that required him to see what was causing excruciating pain and. swelling on both my legs and the Doppler showed - NO DVT. I was told to take another appointment with this Doctor today (Monday 30th December) and my appointment was confirmed and re-confirmed at 3.10 Pm by Fortis Hospital OPD Staff. EnRoute, I got a call from Ms Mamta (His reception assistant) who got upset and told me to quote" Doctor Sumant Raj is upset and angry and was leaving. By then I informed Ms Mamta that I will reach there much before the appointment time. although I had two more Kms to reach Fortis Hospital. I asked my driver to step on the pedal and in the process got two speeding tickets from the Police. I reached Doctor Sumant Raj's room at 2.50 Pm and by his attitude I could see he was furious. He examined me with complete disdain, anger and contempt and just touched my legs where it was very painful and he tried to confirm I had COVID-19!!!!! I told him that I am 71 years old and only have come out of my home to Fortis these two days. I also confirmed that I have a pulse oximeter and my daily reading is between 96-98. Dr Sumant Raj Kb, meanwhile kept taking to another Hospital that he would be there by 3.30 Pm (as I was delaying him). Finally, he told me that he could not find anything wrong with me and the doppler tests although there was a question mark of me having "Cellulitis". To get rid of me, he said there is nothing he can do and if I wanted, I could go to a Neuro surgeon for a checkup. It was almost actually a "GET OUT OF MY ROOM " attitude. I'm back home with the same pain and cannot walk with the swelling and pain on both my legs. I'm back home on a wheel chair!!!!! This Doctor, Dr Sumant Raj Kb, is the first doctor in my life who seems to wants to make more money as there "MAY" have been a more profitable case in another Hospital. Today I'm back to square one and will look for alternative doctors. Dr Sumant Raj Kb, - You are a total disgrace to the Medical fraternity and its doctor's like who are a black mark on a Nobel profession. I will NOT STOP HERE!!! I'm sending you a legal notice to you and filing an FIR about this incident including Fortis Hospital through my attorneys J Hudson Samuel & Partners in Residency Road, Bangalore. Between now and the response of a legal notice, if anything happens to me, I will my family will sue you for unfair medical practises. This is not an empty threat!!!! I mean every word I have said and I have witnesses, who saw your behaviour and will give evidence in Court. CC: Fortis Hospital- Ban this Doctor: Dr Sumant Raj Kb, as he anyway comes only for 30-40 munities to your Hospital. Harshad J Contractor

NO NO NO!!! My experience should be an eye opener for hospital management and word of caution for all the people who love and care about their loved ones. Starting from admission, to room facilities, to nursing care, to OT procedure/timings, to security behaviour is a big ZERO. Came here after hearing so much of the brand name - Fortis. But it's actually a Second Hand Hospital (even worst than that). You will pay 5 star facilities charges but treatment would be worst than govt hospitals. Detailed review below: The single private room is equal to size of a bathroom of other good hospitals like Manipal & Columbia Asia. They don't have automatic beds, the attendant bed is just a side cupboard with thin cushion. The wardrobe is from the time of mughal's which could fall/break any moment. AC works on god will and not yours. Everything is so old and broken that you would curse yourself after seeing it. I am scared to think of semi-private & other shared wards condition. The nursing staff is untrained, less knowledgeable n experienced. Sometimes you have to wait for over 20+ minutes after pressing the nursing bell. Only 1-2 nurse out of all have good experience and knowledge. Most looked intern who were just here to gain some experience and move on. The security is pathetic, my mother was in ICU for 2 hours post surgery and I was asked to go and sit in room, when came to room the ward security barged into room and asked me to leave. Later (upon complaining) he apologized stating he was confused. The OT prep started at 8am for a surgery that started 11am, the patient was taken to OT at 8:30am. For 2+ hours the patient was just left idle in OT.. Guess what - the surgery just took 20 minutes and entire OT episode went for 4+ hours (ICU observation not included). In addition, this is the only hospital which doesn't have seating arrangement for family outside OT. They want you to leave your patient and get lost for 4-5 hours. The billing team and discharge process is worst. They had sent discharge summary and billing details to Insurance by 3pm. All the above points are still secondary as primary goal is to get proper treatment. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping the surgery performed results well in coming days. However when you are paying hefty amount, you surely deserve better treatment. The management needs to listen loud and clear, you are not doing any favour to me or any other patients/families. We are doing a favour by choosing Fortis and if you continue to exploit & demean your patients you will soon face the consequences.

Fortis Cunningham Road Hospital exceeded my expectations with its outstanding cardiology department. Dr. Gopi's expertise and dedication stood out, providing us with confidence and reassurance throughout the process. The entire experience was marked by professionalism, utmost care, and a genuine focus on patient well-being. I highly recommend Fortis Cunningham Road Hospital for anyone seeking exceptional cardiac care.

I was referred by Railway hospital and it should be free of cost, even got a letter from the railway medical office. They still charged for the patient and took over 10,000 Rs Money minded people, doctor - Tejaswini Dande, earlier they told only I have to pay 2000-3000 Rs, but in the end they took triple of amount for ENDOSCOPY (excluding scan, blood reports and etc) I would never recemmened anyone in this hospital.

Very Bad experience where in i went for full body checkup. The attendant at ultrasound was seems to be in a hurry and was doing scans here and there. I doubt that my report might not be accurate. Several things in report were not able to see was mentioned. Really such a pathetic attendant they have. The physician also overlooked at report and i was pointing at parameters beyond threshold then only he apologised and wrote prescribed medicine. I was having eye checkup in my package but they declined saying its not there. Upon intervention of my sponsor they agreed but said doctor has already left and they can't take slots for other day. Disgusting and awful. Better go for other centres for health check.

This is Hopeless Hospital in Bengaluru. When have planned to visit Hospital's and Nursing superintendent for business purposes, they have not allowed to inside with appointment and without appointment, and even security personnel are innocent actors. I have visited many Hospital in Bengaluru like Colombia Asia Hospital, Aster CMI Hospital, Aster RV Hospital, Manipal Hospital, Apollo Hospitals, CloundNine Hospital, Rainbow Hospital, Motherhood Hospital, Rainbow Hospital, Vikram Hospital, commando Hospital, Victoria Hospital, Vanivilas Hospital, and Many more. This forties Hospital Cunningham Road is worst securities and Management. I will not recommend this Hospital for vendors and partners.

No doubt that the treatment and staff members are the best, but the facilities are horrible. Building, furniture, appliances everything is so old, doesn’t justify the high room charges at all. 3 stars for the staff, treatment and location. -2 for the building (old and congested) and facility

It's one of the worst hospital anyone can take their dear ones. Hospital administration treat patients as money making machine. Most of the doctors and Staffs are so rude , there isn’t any empathy towards patients or their bystanders which will make you lose respect towards Medical profession. Doctors secretaries act &speak as if they are board of directors, it’s ridiculous to deal with these kind of middle man jokers at any hospital. Doctors suggest to connect with secretary to discuss emergency situation of their patients and not willing to share their contacts , hospital says “ we don’t have doctor’s contact number” and can’t connect , secretary doesn’t want to pick the call from patients nor willing to re-direct to doctor. Poor patients are suffering during these idiotic drama from hospital staffs. STRONGLY SUGGEST TO AVOID THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU WISH TO GET GOOD CARE AND ATTENTION TO YOUR DEAR ONES.

Centrally located and looks like they have good faculty for emergency cardiac cases. Registration process is quick. However my OPD experience sucks. I had visited the Cunningham road hospital to really seek expert advice on a specific cardiac condition. The doctor came into the room, and was really not in a frame of mind (maybe he is busy). He was in a hurry to leave. Got interrupted by phone calls multiple times. Others walked into the room to check something else - constantly interrupting the conversation. Whilst, doctors may be busy. But unless you are in a frame of mind and have time to hear a patient, why see him? Why go for that quick 700 bucks?

On Doctor's Day, 1st July 2022, My wife Poornima B C had a surgery done in Fortis Cunningham Road. Dr Ganesh Shenoy, Dr Sandeep P and team performed the surgery. They were very positive and ensured my wife is bold and confident to take up the surgery and successfully performed it. The staff, nurses and house keeping were excellent and very caring. They have people who constantly check with you for feedback on their service and ensure a wonderful experience which I have not seen in other hospitals. Their rooms, bed, room amenities are very clean and neat. The food in the canteen is very good and nominal. They made sure that my wife had the best experience and quick recovery. She is very healthy now. Thank you Fortis for your amazing experience and for having excellent doctors.

Pathetic infrastructure, incompetent doctors, very good staff. The staff are the saving grace because the rest is literally in at gods grace. It's a jail till the time you make payment and clear all the dues, they literally keep you locked up as a prisoner. Squeezing money as much and as fast Is the motto here. Not an iota of thought is given to the patients or their problems. Why not charge all amount upfront, suits them better. Fail safe policy. And they copy paste the same irrelevant robotic reply to every negative review, proves the mentality.

Good experience overall. We trust expertise Fortis provide with our past experience.. Visited for dads prostrate related surgery, mainly because my dad got the heart surgery here.. mainly felt confident and good about doctors and treatment. Dr.Shakir was very positive and approachable and explained clearly in layman terms of the surgery and post condition. Private room was comfortable and service/nursing was just average. Pricing was lesser compared to other big hospitals for similar or better surgery. Overall it’s good, not much to complain. It can be much better in areas of cleanliness, timeliness and better care for patients..

Had visited the so called " Vivek Jawali" supposed to be a cardiologist, he lacks the basic sense to hear the patients concern and address them. His listening skills are pathetic - when I took my dad for a valve leakage issue we were made to wait for 1.5 hours...every time we were told to wait for 5mins! After all th wait finally when we are him...he talks all possible medical terms at a stretch for 15mins which is not understandble by a laymen. My simple question to him was " sir does it mean that this may lead to a open heart surgery" he looks at my face like I have asked a share in his property and then responds " this question is irrelevant" if a doctor is not capable and able to answer queries of his patients then his degree is of no use at all..very aggressive behaviour and his way of treating patients is way beyond imagination. Please think twice before you visit him.

I admitted my father to this filthy hospital who was complaining of tiredness. The staff are in such a tearing hurry to provide a cost estimation which is inflated of course. This is one hospital where there is poor co-ordination even while blowing things out of proportion. Doctor doesn't know why the patient is admitted. The moment you tell them that you have corporate insurance, they will leave no stone unturned to exhaust the insurance limit. Fear of the patient and relatives is what they are capitalising on This hospital is no lesser than any other corporate business. Their only motto is to make money at any cost.

I was referred here by my cardiologist in Hubli for EPS/RFA to Dr. JAYPRAKASH. DR. JAYPRAKASH SHENTHAR is one of the best cardiologists I've ever met. He explained everything related to my condition very clearly, was very friendly and made me feel easy and comfortable even during the procedure. Everything went so well and successful without any hassle. Miss PRIYA coordinated with us right from the time of consultation to admission, process and discharge. She kept in touch with me even before we left to Bangalore and she arranged for almost everything and would never fail to answer my doubts, queries, and plans about my future visits too. She is very patient, kind and overall a good human being. Management and services were really good atleast the best I've experienced as a person belonging from North Karnataka. The nurses, ward boys, and house keeping staff were right on time and were very friendly. They keep a check on you time to time and explain everything clearly before initiating any medication or procedure.

I have come here to visit gynaecologist. I have been enquiring about the consultation with the receptionist as to when the doctor would be available each time i call they are giving me different timings today morning they confirmed by 10 o clock the doctor would be available we are waiting for more then 1 hour now the receptionist is arguing telling for one patient doctor cant come. So if this is the case they should have informed me over the call the same message i have come all the way from a very far location with a patient along with me.. Is this the way you people be so careless about an information.

Giving the one star or possible zero to the hospital management and staff at the billing counters. Communication gap is huge which can cause frustration. They don’t explicitly say what is expected once the process starts they bring out small details with fine print which is super annoying. They send you to get photocopies for each opd billing and best part is the facility is available miles away. Imagine if a patient needs to go through this. Does the hospital management does not have slightest sense to keep this facility within the premises. Charge for the damn copies but don’t make our lives difficult.

Thank fully the surgery was good and my mother is recovering. I would also really like to thank the staff, nurses and house keeping as who took care of almost every little need. I had one of the best experiences during my Brother's Surgery. The paper work was taken care of by the hospital staff and the check in was really smooth, thanks to Menu. She kept us posted with all the required formalities and made sure, the patient was admitted without any issues. The room was very clean and tidy and so was the washroom. The nurses were very cordial and polite. They were very patient and helpful with all our queries. We were updated timely regarding the surgery time and post the surgery, there was multiple visit from the doctors, nurses and the Physiotherapy department, to check if was recovering well.

Staff is rude without supporting insurance patients and busy assisting only patients enquiring about health check up. Only selling package is priority and no good services offered. Wonderful experience. I was admitted to the CCU last week and spent a few days. My son, 16 years, had a complete ACL tear while playing football. We consulted many doctors but were not convinced about the surgery. We were lucky to meet Dr. Raghu at his clinic at Kalyan Nagar. He checked the MRI and explained everything in detail about the injury and the surgery procedure to be followed. We were apprehensive about the surgery, but Dr. Raghu’s assurances gave us the courage to go ahead. My son underwent all inside ACL repair at Fortis Hospital within 15 days of his injury and now recovering well. Dr. Raghu has a fantastic team who were extremely helpful during the process. Ms. Meenu helped us with insurance-related matters during our stay in the hospital. Ms. Nithya helped us immensely during our initial interaction with Dr. Raghu at his clinic. Sreejith, the physiotherapist working with Dr. Raghu, is very good, and he ensured that my son could walk a day after his surgery. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Raghu for any orthopedic related issues to everyone. Thank you, Dr. Raghu, and the entire team! The hospital staff was very good and took care of every small thing during our stay. I surely recommend this hospital to everyone.

If you have lot of money or better insurance policy then you can visit the hospital, I just went for health checkup (Which is not very serious) and i came out from the hospital after a day with more than 50,000 as payable amount for my treatment. The doctors and nurses are very manipulative( talking smoothly with a pretty smile) they will let u make different different tests for un-necessary issues without any reason, You can get those tests outside with very very less cost than Fortis. Again I'm telling, Please don't be exploit by them by joining in that hospital, And if you are a millionaire or billionaire then you could go and bare all the expenses.

I cannot say enough about our experience at this hospital. Dr Ganesh Shenoy and the entire team at Fortis provided my mother with incredible and top-notch medical care. My mother received the best treatment and compassionate care during what would have been a very stressful time. Due to the complicated nature of the surgery, we needed a highly skilled and knowledgeable surgeon. Dr Ganesh Shenoy is the absolute best, someone that I will wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who is seeking medical treatment for a loved one. The food is excellent for the patient and is carefully planned. Housekeeping does an amazing job in keeping the rooms and premises clean and is attentive to our needs. The nurses were all very kind and skilled in attending to the patient’s needs.

The laboratory staff and other reception management everything is outstanding Mr Pawan and Ms Preka in the basement helped us a lot really appreciate the efforts. They are the best . I had a problem with my consultation Dr. Nassirin uddin. I did 56 test laboratory tests in Fortis he did not even have a consultation for 10 seconds to check my 56 reports. He never discussed about my reports and even he didn't go through them. He disappoints at the end. Advice to the doctor: Please spend some time explaining the laboratory tests. If you are not explaining no point of doing all these tests by spending so much money .

My father had lower abdomen pain in first week of Dec’22, then I consulted Dr. Ganesh Shenoy at Forties Hospital Cunningham Road & he diagnosed this is recurrent hernia and advised us this can be treated through laparoscopic surgery approach. Then we had fixed one date for surgery and just one week before surgery my father needs to undergo few medical check-ups as advised by Dr. Ganesh Shenoy and those tests were completed within two hours. About hospital staff took Patient & attender KYC and other test reports details to block the surgery date and advised admit one day before surgery. On the date of admission, we got the ward details within 15 minutes & admission procedure also completed very fast. About Dr. Ganesh Shenoy😊 as always approachable any time and took care my father as his own family member & soon after surgery he came to me personally and told surgery went very successfully. Thanks to Dr. Sudhesh for all his support and help. Nursing staff are very help full and caring in nature and housekeeping facility was awesome and food quality also very good for patient and attender as well. Overall Hospital facility, treatment & caring is very good and highly recommended. Now my father doing very well, Once again thanks to Dr. Ganesh Shenoy for all his Support.😊

One of the worst billing and insurance department they have. They will make you go round and round. Patient cannot get a required bed for past 5days. When ever you ask they will you just asked me now. Everytime there will be different people who will be seated Insurance people shouldn't be coming.

Recently my father in-law had chest pain so we visited Fortis . During examination it was found 2 blocks and was treated immediately. He is doing fine now. We are very happy with the Doctor and supporting staff service is good and highly professional. The security staff are very strict, they won't allow multiple people into hospital to meet patients. This is appreciated so that patient will take rest after surgery. The rules in the hospital is strictly followed by all staff Which is also appreciated. The food given to patient is good.

I had been with my husband today 27/10/2023 8:00 am to Fortis Cunningham Road emergency ward as he was dengue positive and his platelet count had come down yesterday. The duty doctor checked his vitals and then even after requesting did not draw sample to check the platelet count till 8:40 am saying that doctor has to advice. Then they sent me to the admission counter and the lady there says I'm only eligible for general ward like she has a monopoly rule to decide on what I need. How can she decide on what bed we want. Her work is to give us a choice and we can't wear all gold to prove if v could pay or no. The lady at the admission counter today morning had no knowledge on customer service. I think they should first be trained well. I did not admit my husband there instead took him to Jain hospital where they did a tremendous job and checked his platelet count immediately and also started basic emergency treatment unlike your Fortis Cunningham Road branch. I think patients who come there don't survive most of the time due to untimely service of the emergency duty doctor. The Fortis hospital Bannerghatta Road is excellent and also has lot of patients because they are well organised and also timely service is provided but this branch has only staff n not many patients due to bad service. I'm happy I did not admit my husband there as his situation would be worst. I advise people pls go to Fortis Bannerghatta Road but never go to this Cunningham Road if you want the patient to recover. Proper action to be taken by the management to keep up the good will that the name Fortis Hospital has gained due to Fortis Bannerghatta Road branch.

I had an emergency for my mother (75 year) and was worried for her health. This situation was very well handled starting from getting my car valet parking, taking my mother to emergency room on wheel chair, Dr Aditya and Dr Nasir took over the case and all necessary steps were taken care immediately and were very supportive till my mother got discharged. My mother stayed nearly 4 days in ICU and nursing staff were humble and taken very good care of her. Later moved to private ward and there also the nursing staff, dietitian, cleaner and the food pantry staff were very good. The security people were strict as they had to follow the protocols but very suppotive and good people. Overall a very good experience for nearly 9 days. Thank-you fortis hospital team.

I underwent cranioplasty with titanium customized mesh surgery for head injury. By the grace of god to come in contact with correct Doctors which could satisfy all my practical considerations and constrains of my health and could proceeded Fortis Cunningham Hospital purely based on proper Doctor availability by the feedback from right sources. Regarding Fortis Hospital working staff, Nurses and the Doctors I came in contact could meet all my requirements and very grateful to everyone. I am very grateful to Dr. Ganesh Veerabadraiah, Dr. Manjunath , and Anastasia Doctors. Very grateful to Priya madam who co-ordinated for the surgery planning and also helped in smooth handling of things at admin section. Specially, the source for things happened and worked out nicely because of Dr Ganesh Veerabadraiah. My hearty wishes for the Nurses for their volunteer effort to do their duties selflessly in this pandemic situations. Thanks to every one for their effort to do their duties nicely in these situations of pandemic. I am ending with special thanks to Doctors involved in my surgery and Priya madam. A small suggestion to Administrative department: Proper protocols should be given to patients and care takers of patients not only because of Pandemic. General protocols are quite mandatory for each and every patient, because each patients requirements of treatment and and health constrains are different. These protocols will help and facilitate each patients needs and everything works out nicely. Thanking you, With regards Munindra S R

Visited Fortis Hospital, Cunningham Road, Bangalore Hospital for Executive Health Check up with my wife. We had done Health Check up during the last 15 years in various cities of the country. I had never such bad experience in any of the Hospital in the past. Issues faced in the Hospital : Had to wait for 45 minutes as counter person was unaware about the particular Corporate Package and was found to be searching the package. NO PROPER GUIDANCE REGARDING THE VARIOUS TESTS available. When enquired about PAPSMEAR TEST for my wife, we were informed that Doctor not available, she is available on call basis only, need to come on some other occasion. When collected money for the test, this was not mentioned. Hospital Authorities when they collect money for certain tests never cared to ENUSRE THAT CONCERNED FACILITY/DOCTOR is available or else to be conveyed the patient in advance. Dental consultation and consultation (Dietetics) were also included in the Package for which payment done, but both were not done, as Doctor was not available. Normally, file containing test results will be handed over to General Physician for consultation. In our case, file was given to us, when verified by the Doctor, many important test results like thyroid tests, HbA1C, Vit D3, Vit B12 etc. were not available in the file. Subsequently, we had to approach the same counter to get the reports AND THESE REPORTS WERE NOT VERIFIED BY THE GENERAL PHYSICIAN. No Covid 19 Protocols or guidelines were seen followed in Health Check up section of Hospital. We were there in Basement Floor from 8.05 am to 3.30 pm. We could not see any cleaning/disinfection process happening in the area during this time. No one was monitoring whether patients are following Covid 19 guidelines. My wife was telling that same dress was given to all women patients in X-Ray unit, TMT section and Echo unit, no disinfection is seen done. We chose FORTIS HOSPITAL expecting certain level of professionalism while hanlding patients. Visited the Hospital with prior appointment and after verifying the crowd situation in the Clinic. Later during our interaction, receptionist in Health Check up section was telling that Tuesdays and Fridays will be busy in the Hospital. Then why this message was not shared by the person who confirmed our Booking on Tuesday. We would have visited the Hospital some other day if properly advised.

This is the review on the pharmacy in ground floor. Worst ever service I have experienced so far. 2 ladies inefficient ladies at the counter struggling to serve even 3 patients/ customers. Billing system is down and they have no clue how to resolve. Having waited for 20 mins for 1 stripe of medicine and a knee band, they dare to take the order from other people who have come to buy medicine. God save the patient who is in urgent need of medicine. Fortis management should look at this on a serious note. I don't recommend this place at all.

Fortis Cunningham Road is one of the best specialised cardiac hospitals in Bangalore. The level of expertise and the kind of transparency we get out of the cardiologists and the staff here is of the highest level. My father got admitted to the Emergency Care a week back, and the speed and efficiency with which details are collected, results of the reports explained, is highly impressive. The admin staff Miss.Sunita who co-ordinates all appointments for Dr.Gopi who is one of the best cardiologists in Bangalore, goes out of the way to help patients at this hospital. She is a highly energetic person who makes sure each and every patient is attended to, with no discrimination whatsoever - the way she multi-tasks is highly commendable. One of the best cardiac hospitals in Bangalore, with state of the art technology with respect to all medical equipment in the CCU and Emergency Care. Keep up the amazing work, Team Fortis!!

Brought my mother in for a breathing issue and her Cardiologist, Dr. Gopi at Fortis, Cunningham Road correctly diagnosed that she had an aortic valve stenosis. my mother being of advanced age was a high risk patient but he suggested a procedure called TAVI which was a way of replacing her heart valve with minimal risk. A heart valve replacement was a way to improve her quality of life and Dr. Gopi was fantastic with both explaining the procedure, it’s associated risks and benefits in a clear and empathetic manner which we very much appreciated. This gave us the confidence to go ahead with the procedure and true to form him and his entire team (Dr. Chandan, Dr. Praveen, Dr. Suma, Dr. Aravind) completed the procedure successfully. Special thanks to Dr. Sudarshan, her pulmonologist over here, who also supported her diagnosis and helped us understand how this would ease her breathing issues. I would be remiss if i didn’t mention the ER doctors and staff and the entire support nursing and admin staff who took excellent care both pre and post procedure and made our stay here less stressful.

Visited Fortis Cunningham Road for my father’s spine injury a few weeks ago. He underwent a surgery to insert implants to his back bone and we ended up staying there for a week. Was very impressed with the diagnosis and expertise offered by the doctors (Dr. Jayateerth K, Dr. Ganesh V, Dr. Manjunath) and care offered by the nurses (Simi, Jerin, Asha). Neurosurgeon Dr. Ganesh V has been insightful and is monitoring my father’s status post surgery. Dr. Ganesh’s coordinator, Priya, has been very helpful in scheduling follow up appointments post surgery. Was also impressed with the food services for the in-house patients that provided healthy and balanced meals through out the course of the day. Last but not the least, the house keepers were extremely helpful too (Swamy, Muniswamy). Apart from the initial hassle at the admissions office due to their own internal miscommunication and ward maintenance, I was pleased with my visit and would gladly recommend Fortis to others. Hope you find this post useful. Cheers!

I’m very disappointed. I have ask them to send my test sample reports via mail as I’m unable to get the hard copy but I have not yet receive it. I have made numerous calls for the past three days. Only my details were taken on the phone but they never sent the mail. Please do what is needed as I’m in urgent need of it. Kindly do what is needed instead of just passively asking my details.

Not happy with the result, the doctors in the emergency are all learners, they don't know to study an ECG report, one of the doctor compared my previous ECG report with the one it was taken and confirmed that I dont have any problem. The brother also struggled a lot to fix all the ECG equipment's for taking an ECG he took around 30 mins. Suggest to have some experienced doctors in the emergency which is very much important. Thanks!

My mother had sever pain in her Shoulder since 2-3 months, we just visited Fortis Cunningham, Bengaluru Hospital and consulted General/ Orthopedic Doctor and he advised her to take physiotherapy treatment, that moment we met Dr Mazhar Khan, he was so kind enough to advice on the excercise and Ultra treatment everyday for 10days. after 10days the pain come down to less than 50% the most important thing was the way he was giving attention with all smile on his face to my mother was beyond my expectations. I wish all Doctors to give sufficient to their patients to meet the expectations of any customers or patient because more than medicines it is more important to give motivation and fill energy to their customers which will be a parallel thing required for any patient. I wish all the best for Dr Mazhar Khan to touch great heights in his career and achieve the blessing of almighty god and serve the community from his bottom of Heart.

I went to Dr. Jaya Prakash Shenthar for Atrial fibrillation treatment in 2019. Experience with the hospital management is completely different from experience with Dr. Jayaprakash, Dr. Yashoda Ravi and Priya. I really appreciate the patience he has and feel happy when I think of him. His approach towards my treatment to avoid the procedure was really good. He always treated me as 2 lives since I was a new mother when I went to him. The way he advised us in each phase built a confidence about myself and parenting. Of course I went through RF Ablation procedure 3 months ago, I feel better than earlier now. Many Thanks to Jaya Prakash Sir, Yashoda Madam and Priya( she is so kind, I felt she is like a sister to me). This review is only for the team and not to the hospital facilities or management.

I had undergone a laproscopic hernia surgery @ Fortis hospital, Cunningham road in Jan 2023. The panel of doctors consisting of Dr Aditya Chowti, Dr Ganesh Shenoy, Dr Karthik did a phenomenol job and I am glad I was able to get this procedure done here. Dr Aditya was very supportive and took personal care pre and post surgery. He has been our go-to doctor for quite a while now. The experience with Dr Ganesh Shenoy was also fantastic. He explained the potential complications and urged me to get the surgery done at the earliest. He was very responsive to the various queries on whatsapp and phone calls and was never "un-reachable". His re-assuring smile and confident conversations will put your mind at ease. He personally came to visit us on the morning of the surgery and also personally informed the awaiting attendants outside the operation theatre once the surgery was done. Would definitely recommend Dr Ganesh Shenoy. Dr Karthik was very patient and compassionate. He took care of all the post surgery procedures until I was fully healed and provided clear explanation of what needs to be done to take care of the surgery wound. Lastly, I want to commend Sudesh, the patient coordinator/manager who did an excellent job in making the insurance pre-approval, admission and final insurance clearance very smooth. He also provided clear instructions on the various packages and options and took care of everything end to end. In conclusion, it was a pleasant experience with Fortis Cunningham road as a whole, and I would definitely recommend Dr Ganesh Shenoy for laprascopic hernia surgery and Dr Aditya Chowti for general medicine.

Very bad experience at Fortis. Doctors are pretty not confident in their skills and experience. They only panic the patients. I had to run around with my mom, spend huge money visiting so many doctors and finally when the Surgery was planned, they cancelled it saying so many complications. This shows the quality of doctors there. Now the surgery is done in one of the best hospital in Bangalore.. All went good by the grace of God.

I had a disappointing experience with parking at Fortis Hospital Cunningham Road due to a lack of options and unhelpful parking staff. The insistence on valet parking, the refusal to allow self-parking with key retention, and the staff's rudeness made the situation less than ideal. This is concerning, especially when we have valuables, cash, and personal items in our vehicles, and not everyone may be comfortable with valet parking. And please note, they directly and rudely tell you not to park and get out on face if you are not interested to park here at their own terms.

My aunt Gowramma got admitted 5 days ago with severe breathlessness under Dr Ganesh. V, Neurosurgeon. She was attended promptly in the ER, her SpO2 being as low as 64%, due to right heart failure detected within 10min being into ER by an Echo scan of heart. Dr. Keshav R(cardiologist) and Dr. Satish (Lung specialist) were called, their associate doctors co-ordinated and admitted to ICU. Each team explained us her issues in detail, gave updates each day and thanks to their efforts, she is getting discharged in just 4 days, today. Instructions to follow at home were explained, with phone numbers of persons for home care, home oxygen and Bipap machine. Thanks to the whole team of Fortis.

It was great experience with the urology department. Since, My father had a urine infection with high grade of fever and a probable case of pyelonephritis we had to admit him through emergency. The process at hospital was well maintained. And, the day care unit where my father had been admitted for DJ stent removal procedure took care of him so well. Would like to thank sister LEENA who was there for every possibility at the day care unit.
