They don't do group tours anymore. It would be helpful if they advertised that. The contact number is blocked to incoming numbers. ***** Following up on the statement made by the owner. I am quite sure the phone was blocked on the day I called. I am just a tourist and don't have any motive than to report my experience factually. Perhaps the phone was not working that day because the voice ever kept stating so ... " Incoming is blocked.." I was ernest about a tour hence I went out to contact the Owner (via twitter as well as 2 emails) But by the time I received an email response, the day was over. There was no way to contact them other than the single phone number on the website which was blocked. Also they don't do group tours as is confirmed by the owner below. That's what I wrote above. For a single tour, by the time I received a response it was too late for me to be part of any. I hired a vehicle and went on my own. I have made 2 observations: 1. The number was blocked that day. 2. They don't do group tours. How is that not responsible? I am all for local businesses hence me reaching out for a tour. Don't like the rejoinder from the owner of not being "responsible". I was being responsible by noting factually what my experience was that day. You could perhaps listen to feedback and make more phone numbers available and also list what your options are so that we can be part of your experience and not push away people like me.

Prithvi was an excellent guide. He shared the history of Mysore and how much of it links to world historical events, tying nations together. He had stories relating to each of the sites - Town Hall, The Click Tower, Mysore Palace, the Wadiyar Dynasty , Devaraja Market, and finally a culinary experience at a variety of stalls. He is witty and interesting. A pure delight. Thank you Prithvi for your kindness and friendship.

Fun fun fun.... Enjoying a topic that interests you with people who have the same interests guided by a knowledgable person taking us on an incredible journey. Virtual tours are the way to go these days !

Loved the cooking class in Mysore. From start to finish this was a well organized tour. After booking I received a precise location and photo to meet Ajit, my guide. The walk through the food market was so much more interesting with a local to explain things. We picked up everything for the meal and when we went into his lovely home the chef had already prepared everything so we got right down to cooking! The food and company were amazing, and I'm looking forward to trying out my new skills. This is a great activity for a couple or small group, come hungry. My only wish for next time would be to do even more hands on cooking.

Our young guide gave us an enthusiastic and knowledgeable introduction to the history of Mysore and its key central buildings. This was followed by a colourful and aromatic tour of the fruit, veg and flower market - stunning. The evening then got better and better as we tried one delicious local delicacy after another from small family run food shops we would never have tried unless recommended. All was really excellent and we'd strongly recommend this walking tour.

I really cannot recommend Gully Tours enough - I recently did a full day tour in Mysore with my mum and three friends, with our amazing guide Kainath, who was just the most inspirational young woman, as well as being a fantastic guide. None of us had been to Mysore before, so it was so great to have someone with such a wealth of knowledge introduce us to this wonderful (small) city. And what a day - from meeting various local artisans, from Silk weavers, stone masons and wooden inlay artists, to eating some AMAZING street food, to a insightful visit to the stunning Mysore Palace, and of course dozens of anecdotes about the history and personalities that have made Mysore what it it. Thanks to all the team at Gully Tours for putting this together for us. It was a very special day.

One of the highlights of our two weeks of travels. Our guides were funny and informative and knew all the best spots. It was the perfect amount of walking for my husband and me as well as our 78 year old parents. The history was interesting and the food was ample and delicious. You won't need to make dinner plans after this tour.

I did a walk tour in Mysore which was a great experience. I got to hear a lot about the city and its history, explored the market without any touristic hassles and got to get some fantastic food at local eateries. I can highly recommend to anyone visiting Mysore for the first time. 투어 추천해요.

A fantastic tour! Great balance of history, culture and delicious food, and the market is delightful to walk around. On top of that our guide Rahul was very warm and friendly, and you could really feel his enthusiasm for the city.

I just did the Malleshwaram Art + Dosa walk with Gully Tours. So happy to see the Mysore experts walking around bangalore! Having lived in bng for ten years, I've only been to Malleshwaram once before! This walk was a beautiful introduction to this leafy, charming, old (est) suburb! Full of stories and histories, vinay was a fab guide!

We went to two excursions with Gully Tours and were very happy! Palace tour It was a very informative tour giving cool insights into the life of maharajas, their relationship with the people and of course, showing off the glory of those times. Our guide was a very sweet girl Ananya and without her the palace would have been just a fancy building for pretty pictures. I think this palace deserves a bit more attention and Ananya's knowledge of the place was extensive. It was also very smoothly organized as the place gets busy. Thank you, Ananya 🙂👌 Best of Mysore We absolutely loooooved this tour. Such a cool insight into Mysore's market life and history, our guide Siya is really enthusiastic about her city and it was such a fun experience as she has a great sense lf humor. We got to meet locals and eat and drink Mysore's specialties, it was all so delicious and interesting and special. And the vendors were very keen that we would really see them in action, how snacks are made and what goes in there etc. I think the Best of Mysore would be an awesome beginning to exploring this bazaar and palace city because Siya also sent us all kinds of suggestions about where to eat and what to do in Mysore. Thank you so much, Siya, you have a beautiful energy, we hope to meet you again some day!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Mysore Palace tour with Sachin. He is highly professional and friendly. Impressed by his passion for history and culture, I felt like a sponge dipping into his large reservoir of knowledge, immersing myself in the rich ambience of the palace. Sachin speaks excellent English with minimal accent, quite easy to understand and absolutely fun to talk to. He was patient with all my questions, and kept track of time as we toured. The pace of the tour was so wonderful, it flowed evenly in two hours, at no point did I feel tired, rushed, or bored. I highly recommend doing tours with Gully team, so much better than the random guide you can get outside the palace! There's a difference between those who work from their heart with passion and those who work out of necessity without much love. Though charging a cheaper price, the latter will rush you through the palace in under an hour. My only suggestion is to include a list of vocabulary frequently mentioned in the tour, such as the name of the king, the dynasty, various gods, mythological figures/animals, various important spaces in the palace, etc. It would be of great help to those who are not familiar with Indian history and culture. Much gratitude! I will definitely book more tours with Gully team when back in the area!
