Very moving as an Australian I learn something about our armed forces during the WII where involved in a well as the Kiwi's who lost their lives.

The first visitors in 2024. This was worth watching. Beautiful

The historic lodgings, the area, are nearly kept. The posted information is informative, and the drive from both directions is breathtaking.

Lovely place! Very easy to get here, and a very large area to park your car. There are multiple trails to go on in the area if you like hiking. There are also lots of picnic benches for those who want to take a lunch break. The houses themselves are very interesting, however only one of them is open to the public (the red one is closed). Be careful of broken glass, pottery, and sharp rocks.

Lovely small huts with some additional information about their history, in fact dating back until 17th and 18th century. Easy to reach and free parking.

The Hauses are really interesting to see. But for such a historical place there shall be a toilet available! However the only toilet which is there is in the museum next by which is opened at 11.
