Friendly and very good service. The rooms are spacious and there is a standby generator in the event of load shedding. Location is a bit hidden but I recommend the guest house to those who find themselves visiting Kroonstad.

The staff and management was very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice and clean.

The best place to be, it's nice and quiet. Good food and the welcome sherry was a cherry on top. The place is bizarre.

We arrived late afternoon at Berry Lane, where we received a warm welcome and without any ado, we we showed to our rooms which had just about every amenity that you can think of. Breakfast the next day was delicious and we really enjoyed the privacy, security and friendly staff . I can definitely recommend Berry Lane!

Our room was clean, beautifully furnished and we had everything we needed.

First of all, I do not know how Berry Lane Guesthouse can be justified as a guesthouse. The place where I stayed does not nearly represents the photos on the internet. The building and garden is in a poor state and the service is not much better. I haven't even seen or met the host and did not even receive an invoice after payment. The room itself sports a hole in the roof, chipped tiles and no curtain in the bathroom. The connecting door was a problem and so the noise of people inside the house. When I wanted to leave, the electric gate was not operating and I had to wait for some time for someone to open the gate. All in all, an extremely bad experience and will not recommend Berry Lane at all.

For the price you pay it is worth it. But it seems parking is an issue as the owners takes up all the space. Shower pressure a bit low, takes longer to shower. Otherwise nice place.

My stay at Berry lane was outstanding. From service to quality of rooms and the support staff was on point. The reception was very welcoming and with such a short notice or emergency booking how they assisted me was highly appreciated. There was a private chef available, Kyle your food was lovely our host Amo thank you for going the extra mile the breakfast was delicious. To the owners you run a well oiled ship. Great place.. Clean, modern and comfortable 👌🏻. Great service and friendly. Conveniently accessible and quiet. We had a wonderful, pleasant. The breakfast was also fantastic. Electric blanket on the bed as well as a heated wall panel. They are on solar, so there is no loadshedding. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We had a wonderful stay

I loved every moment there...a home away from home

Probably a bit biased here.. Location is near the few fast food restaurants in town. It's near the N1 and easy to find.. Rooms are neat, clean and service is excellent. Food is good

Accommodation is nice, if not a little run down. Ample space. Water pressure is shocking and showering is almost impossible. When turning down the spare bed for the night, an old pair of dirty socks was found, so the bedding had obviously not been changed since the last visit.

It was spacious, very clean, the shower was a welcome sight, lovely Sunday morning breakfast, friendly staff

The facility was clean and the bed is comfortable.. I wish there was a swimming pool but I would definitely come here again

Berry nice place! Recently renovated, modern and clean finishing. The wifi worked without any issues and we were able to get some late night early morning work done. There is a common area that we didn't get to make use of which also looked nice. The garden was well maintained if you needed a spot to braai. Overall, great stay. If I find myself in Kroonstad again I'll know who to call.

Excelent for overnight stay. Could have done with more drinking water. Outside lights too bright inside at night. Thanx to Martha who was very friendly and made us feel welcome.
