We were dropped at this place because we wanted somewhere to rest until our car is serviced at Ford. We walk up to the door and a White Afrikaans Lady asked us how she can help. We told her we wanted day accommodation & she started raising her voice& asked us to leave the property & said..”we do not do those things here!!”She was extremely rude& I am Foreigner from the United Sates & I am black… She did not have a clue on how to handle customers. This Lady reminded me of the apartheid Era. She simply did not want to help us coz we are BLACk. I do not recommend this place to ANYONE, especially if you are not WHITE, in my Opinion. AIRBNB need to review this place. We need to live in harmony , in this modern world!! Pleas do not book there!!!

It's a pretty decent guest house. The one concern is that the breakfast is a served a bit late at 7am is the earliest, normally 7h30 to 8h00. Everything is average not great just average. They hospitality of the host is acceptable and the try to accommodate their guests. I did not live in the guest house but in the unit out back which is much better in my opinion.

Real gem of a place - with a very comfortable king size bed with quality linen, we had a good night's sleep and woke up refreshed for the next day. Our host was friendly and helpful and attentive to out needs.

A beautiful little spot right near the highway in Kroonstad. It was a perfect overnight stop for us and we are especially grateful for the late check-in. The room has modern decor and fittings. Parking is behind an electic gate. Would definitely recommend 👍

This is one incredible place to stay at and worse part I wanted to take the bed with me as it's so comfortable and it's like I was sleeping on a cloud but this is the place to stay at when you're in Kroonstad.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lavender Guest House after my two friends and I experienced a breakdown along the N1 highway near Kroonstad. We were exhausted and stressed, but the staff at Lavender Guest House, particularly Selo, went above and beyond to help us during this difficult time. Selo was incredibly kind and understanding towards us. He made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed while we waited for our car to be fixed. The guest house itself was beautiful and serene. The rooms were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities to make our stay enjoyable. Overall, my friends and I had a wonderful stay at Lavender Guest House and it was largely due to the exceptional service provided by Selo. We highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

What a lovely experience, we were there because we had attended my uncle's funeral and my car broke down in Kroonstad and they allowed it for one more day without a hassle. They are indeed wonderful people 🤗🥂🌹
