Awesome service and advice on spares.

Hi, I was at kroonstad goldwagen on 2023- 03-21 and I was met with such unprofessional, incompetent and arrogant white sales man who introduced himself as Peter. He has long beard incase he gave a wrong name cause I told him I was to make a review. I was looking for a Hydraulic clutch bearing and needed to exchange the wrong one I bought in Vanderbijlpark goldwagen. This guy was so rude and racist in every aspect. He didn't want to hear me out and insisted that their GW was not a franchise and belonged to a different owner as to others. He sent me back to Vanderbijlpark and told me there was nothing I could do to him .I never experienced such incompetency and arrogancy since I have been a GW customer since 2012 and I believe this guy is only bringing your branch and that of GW to disrepute and should be removed from the front desk.

Worst sales experience in my 12 years of owning & buying car parts for my VW Chico. I visited this branch the morning of the 9th of December looking for a distributor (image below) to be fitted on my 2007 VW Chico 1.4 Carburetor model, I even had a sample of the broken one which doesn't have vacuum advance but the auntie there wanted none of my explanation, she was becoming agitated with me the more I tried to explain. She insisted I had the wrong one, according to her the entire 12 years of owning the Chico & the multiple times replacing the distributor I've been driving on distributors meant for fuel injector models, the other spares that sold me the attached distributor including other Goldwagen branches were all wrong she's right my car needs a vacuum advanced distributor, according to her the attached is for fuel injection models and based on her experience selling car parts I can't tell her otherwise 🙄🙄 Other motorspares in Kroonstad with one even comparing the gears of the fuel injection distributor they had on stock against my sample meant for carburetor model indicated that the helical gears for the oil pump were not the same, they knew about this type of distributor below that I was looking for but were out of stock & politely advised

Good service but i think there is a room for improvement but great quality spares and knowledgable consultants but myb thats how the operate but i would like to see more things on the display just to hook the clients
