Also, it has a musty moldy smell coming from the vent. The lighting is a bit too dim. Nevertheless, breakfast was great & located exactly at kuala belait town where have rows of shophouse selling stuff & retaurant. Check-in 3 Dec and out 6 Dec 2018. No issue with the hotel till 6 Dec 4:45AM when someone opened my door while I was sleeping. I immediately woke up then someone closed back the door. I immediately double lock the door, observe and went back to sleep. Before breakfast I reported it to the front desk. I told them to review the CCTV and identify who opened my door during that time. They told me that only the manager has access to CCTV. I demanded explanation and investigation but was ignored by them. One of the staff even mentioned that I was just a walk-in customer. The staff did not handle the situation well. I told them that it could be a security issue. Who opened my door remains a mystery. It could be one of their cleaner and accidentally opened my door by mistake. It could be a bad guy who wants to get something in my room. In short the staff failed to verify the incident. I'll be worried next time and avoid this hotel.

In the middle of Kuala Belait city. Easy access for food and walking distance to mosque and government buildings.

Stayed here a few times and always a friendly atmosphere. I've stayed as a normal guest and during quarantine. Very nice hotel and excellent location
