The place is quite clean. It is quiet most of the time. The menu is fairly good and mostly indonesian. The service would depend, They are 90% if not 100% (I did not check) Indonesian workers who rarely smile but some time I just don’t care as long as my food is clean and edible. Price is medium. Taste? Honestly that depends on yourself.

Great place for ambuyat and cucur pisang. A spacious restaurant selling local food. Staffs were friendly and attentive. Service was quick. Heres what we ordered: CUCUR PISANG. A must order here! The crispiest banana fritters in KB so far, winning the Brunei Food Awards. It was light and batter did not retain oil. The banana was fresh and sweet. Serving was quite generous with large pieces of banana slices. AMBUYAT. Set for two consisting of a hot bowl of ambuyat, ulam (assorted mix veges with sambal), kangkong, fried shrimp, beef and asam pedas fish. Ambuyat was well mixed and thick (unlike some ambuyat places which use too much water and still have bits of unmixed sago flour). However, the cacah tempoyak and binjai was very diluted and mostly chili paste. It was still flavourful but would have preferred if they added more tempoyak and binjai. The fried shrimp was nice and crispy. The asam pedas fish was very flavourful, sour, spicy and refreshing. But the beef was a little bit too tough though the flavour was really good. Overall, would come back here for ambuyat and definitely the cucur pisang.

Great Indonesian food. Try the Nasi Rames (has a nice variety meat, vegetables, cracker).

Great introduction to Bruneian food.... I had a number of unique dishes including ambuyat and belutak.... It was absolutely delicious... This place is very quiet, we were the only customers here. And service is lightning quick and they do have everything on the menu, including satay!!! Willncome here again when I visit Brunei next time

Awesome hidden gem for indonesian food and personally one of the best cucur pisang in KB! Just the traffic here during rush hour but dinner time is fine. Staff are courteous enough and prices are very reasonable. Good for family and friends makan.

Went there for lunch and the place is not even packed but the food took 1 hour plus to serve. It wasn’t a complicated dish at all. Waitress didn’t even bother telling us what took them so long even when I called and asked nicely. She didn’t even bother apologizing for the wait. When the food finally arrived it was really tasteless. Hope they can improve their service in the future. Update : Went there for the second time just because I wanted see if I was just unlucky during the experience above. This time me and my friends booked a table early and ordered our food throw the phone just to save time and it was like 2 hours before the time we set to come. When we arrive not only the waitress are rude, the food came late. We ordered canned drinks and it still took them more than 15 mins to arrive. Pressed the bell for more than 10 times and raised hands to call the waitress to ask about our food but they ignored. One of the waitress even asked me rudely to ask the kitchen staff myself about our food. Definitely will never come back here.

Their mee goreng and fried rice taste are similar with Indonesian “abang-abang kaki lima”. Good taste. And you can pre-order their delicious Indonesian Nasi Kuning complete with the side dishes for your special ocassion.

The place is recently renovated. The food is awesome. Love the cucur pisang(banana fritter), tapai(fermented rice) & sweet potato fritter(cucur ubi manis) so much.

Food was nice but the services given was really bad. Went there for a birthday celebration surprises but the waiters and cashiers was quite rude when taking orders. Seems like they don't want to work. Overall experience was really really bad. I do not recommend having an event or planning it's better to have it elsewhere.
