This Shabu Shabu is the Belait district. This is definitely not something you should consider!!! What a shame!!!! We were there on the 16 July from 7pm. When we got into the restaurant, the lady looks unfriendly, no greeting and was not welcoming. She asked for the booking name and then pointed the room and asked us to go over there to the young man who will take over to serve us. Then I saw 6 places were set up instead of 7. I then told the young man to please set up one more seat. Just a small fraction of making a booking can also make mistakes. Next, we feel most of the employee was unwilling and reluctant to serve us. We have to call them often to come in the room to get the orders. What was seemingly awkward was that they gather together near the kitchen to chit chat instead of attending to us. And when we call them, we felt like we disturb them or interrupting their conversation. They weren't happy to attend to us. We even felt they make fun of us when we tried to call them to take the order. What I found disgusting was the Yong Tau Foo. I cooked it in my Malatang for 10mins. I took it out an have a bite, I immediately have to throw it out from my mouth. The Tau Foo with pork was rotten spoiled. I told them it was spoiled and the lady said she can change it. I told her no because at this point I believe the batch they took out was already in not a good condition. They somehow gang up together the 6 of them with the cook and was putting a funny face towards me. Not even apologizing. I then told the cook chef if you don't believe me please taste it yourself. I told him if anyone of us got ill with food poisoning I will report it to the health department to have your restaurant do the hygienic check. Please handle your food with care. This is a serious matter. After paying the bill which wasn’t cheap for 7 people and no one expressed gratitude. I hope that this restaurant owner takes a more proactive approach to managing their employees with improved services and food hygiene.

Loved the beef and veggies! Recommend to prepare your sauce in the sauce bar.

Great price if you wanna enjoy some fine dining experience. Good services from the staffs, the preparation time doesn’t take long. Recommend to call for reservations before dining in.

It's delicious.. unfortunately this time my visit without the dessert.. all not avaliable.. need to pre-book/reservation prior go to the restaurant.. if you're first time came here, i don't really suggest for you to order single plus set.. it ways too much for 1 person.. but sharing for two is ok.. its bit pricy but worth.. Single plus set you may refer to the white bowl photo at the front.

Hot pot here may not be the best, but I absolutely adore the ice flakes here with the panna cotta, there's nothing else like it in Brunei. The ice flakes are soft and fluffy like snow and the panna cotta is to die for!

It's the best time to eat steamboat during rainy weather. Service is good. Menu has a great variety of soups, meats and vegetables. Recommend to make a reservation as sometimes restaurant is very crowded.

Quality of the food here is not as good as in bandar. Service was slow and they missed one of our orders and gave the wrong order as well. Was disappointed as staffs were friendly and fast but seem disorganized. Overall, processed food and soup tastes the same. But the hot pot beef looks very pale and not appetizing. Ice shave was very disappointing. They gave the wrong order and we had to wait 20mins to get the right order. The portion looks far less than in bandar, there was no sweetness in the pana cotta, the creamy and milkiness was lacking and it was not smooth at all, it had granules like as if milk powder was used.
