Tremendous architecture with beautiful interior and exterior. Tourist attractions and busy during Friday praying. Huge and spacious praying area at both outdoor and indoor hall. An interesting matter is here non-muslim person can visit it to see it's beauty. Not only that if any person is in short dress he/she must wear a covering cloth before entering the Masjid region, which is also provided here. Make sure to walk around the surroundings to get nice view. Friendly disabled and they do arrange wheelchair too. Clean toilet and super friendly staff. . Have fun!

A splendid mosque located in Putrajaya. The pink color mosque is like an iconic landmark represents a city on a post card. The interior decorations of the mosque are with beautiful appearance as well. Not only the mosque, but also the surrounding areas are very clean. A square is near the mosque, and visitors can see Malaysia’s national flag and flags of 13 states flying in the sky. No admission charges.

Wonderful mosque. The pink color is really nice. They have a part where you can access the mosque to visit and see inside. It’s a great feeling to pray there. Once you go out you have a beautiful view on the river. It’s literally amazing.

This is a relatively new mosque located in Putrajaya - a new and modern city. The female staff in the hall is very kind and passionate. She patiently chatted with me and taught me a lot of knowledge about the religion of Islam. I ended up learning a lot that I never knew before. It's absolutely the right place for those who would like to get to know more about the Islamic cultures and history.

Main and is the Principle Mosque of Putrajaya. The landmark that you shouldn't missed when visit Putrajaya. Easily to be notice when you enter Percint 1 for main building of Putrajaya Perdana Putra the office complaxes of Prime Minister of Malaysia. Huge and spacious praying area at both outdoor and indoor hall. Next to waterways and Manmade lake of Putrajaya.... Cooling the building and at the same time give a very nice ambiance. Tourist attractions and busy during Friday praying. And now, everyone wanted to enter the Mosque strictly need to follow the SOPs. Service of Muslim couple weddings made this Mosque busy on the weekend besides local tourist still visit after prayer hour time. Very nice architecture with beautiful interior and exterior. Friendly disabled and they do arrange wheelchair too. Clean toilet and super friendly staff

Putrajaya, city and federal territory of Malaysia, located in west-central Peninsular Malaysia. It is situated 15 miles (25 km) south of the capital, Kuala Lumpur, and serves as the country’s administrative centre.Prior to the construction of Putrajaya, the Malaysian government offices were housed at various locations across Kuala Lumpur. With increasing traffic congestion, however, the distance between the offices began to hinder administrative processes. Consequently, the government resolved to create a new city where the scattered offices could be relocated and reassembled to form a more efficient administrative hub. The prime minister’s office moved to Putrajaya in 1999. While Kuala Lumpur continued to function as Malaysia’s capital—it was the site of both houses of parliament and the first royal palace—Putrajaya gradually expanded to include the Federal Court, the second royal palace, and many other administrative buildings. It was declared a federal territory in 2001KUALA LUMPUR Putra Mosque in Kuala Lumpur Putrajaya Attractions Facing the scenic Putrajaya Lake, the Putra Mosque is arguably Putrajaya's most distinctive landmark and one of the most modern mosques in the world. A showcase of how mosque designs have evolved in Malaysia, Putra Mosque's Islamic-architecture artistically blends traditional designs, local craftsmanship and the use of indigenous materials. The mosque is modeled after Persian Islamic architecture of the Safavid period with elements derived from other Muslim cultures. Incorporating Malaysian, Persian and Arab-Islamic architectural designs, the main entrance to the mosque is fashioned in the likeness of public building gates in Muslim Persia.

A very beautiful mosque indeed. The place is impeccably clean. Besides ladies with pink robes with hoods, there are guys putting on the robes too. Probably for a chance to dress in public like men in cloaks in ancient times. Well, not bad an idea to have a truly unforgettable photo experience. No entrance fee as of 23rd July 2022. Observe the shoes off limit zone. Have a pleasant day at Putrajaya.

The architecture of the mosque is very beautiful. The praying hall is comfortable, both in temperature and surrounding. Clean Prayer mat and woman’s prayer clothes readily available for those who are in need. Serene and calm praying experience. The dome is mesmerizing. I just hope that responsible authority could do deep clean or renovate the toilets. And for those who wanted to visit this mosque please take care of the toilet cleanliness after use. Especially, if you are the guardian of 30 plus school children that you have brought for a visit.

Currently for friday prayer, a total of 2200 people can enter at one time. There will be tazkirah starting around 12.30pm until before friday prayer. The topic discussed is very good. Please come early, there are ample space at lower level and upper level also. Go through the stairs or lift to go up.

Beautiful mosque to visit and relax. No entrance fee charge when I visited, however u can donate if u wish too, to the numerous donation boxes available. There are certain rules you will need to adhere to while visiting. It is located near the Malaysian Prime Minister home, This mosque is very windy too despite the hot Malaysian weather.

The dome is under renovation. Make sure to bring your prayer mat, they only let people who brings their prayer mat and telekung to enter the mosque. Parking was ok on the afternoon even on the weekend. But after 5 it'll be crowded and it's hard to find parking spot. Parking is free at the roundabout. Make sure to walk around the surroundings to get nice view. Have fun!

Putra Mosque is an iconic mosque located in Putrajaya, the federal administrative capital of Malaysia. It's one of the most prominent landmarks in the city, known for its stunning pink-domed architecture and beautiful Islamic design. Visitors are allowed to visit the mosque during certain hours and are typically welcome to explore the mosque's grounds and take guided tours to learn more about the architecture, Islamic culture, and the significance of the mosque. However, it's important to note that visitors are generally expected to dress modestly when visiting mosques in Malaysia. For women, this usually means wearing clothing that covers arms and legs, and a headscarf is often required. Some mosques provide appropriate clothing for visitors who arrive in clothing deemed inappropriate for entry.

Here is one of the most peaceful places I've ever visited in Malaysia. Even there are a lot of foreigners I still feel peaceful. Everyone repects the place and the staff is sooo nice he didn't approach the visitors until we wanted to know something. He is friendly, funny and polite. I've got one Malaysian friend here she is a staff of this mosque and she shared me a birthday meal for the first time we met :)

A really beautiful mosque, I went there when it was still under construction. If you're going there for Eid prayers, make sure you go early to grab a parking spot. Otherwise, you might end up praying at the back in the open-air area. The architecture is really stunning, and it's located right next to a lake so you can take a stroll and enjoy the view. It's situated near a roundabout and next to the Prime Minister's office, so you can't miss it. It's definitely a must-visit spot

Beautiful, well maintained Mosque, clean. Free entry. I’ll recommend you dress politely, the staff will provide outer tunics for those who aren’t in appropriate clothes. Near from MRT putra jaya but i suggest you took a cab/grab only 7 RM from MRT. Inside the area there’s a restaurant called Kasbin, worth to try, tastes good with cheap price.

This mosque is located near the Prime Minister's office and can be considered as the main mosque in Putrajaya. The mosque is very comfortable both as a prayer building and a tourist attraction. Each section for prayer and tour are separated and accessed by separate doors. Muslim visitors who want to pray can look for the doors that is usually half-closed and guarded by security (or just ask the security personnel). Although the architecture of the building is a sight to behold from the inside / near the mosque, it most shines if seen from afar with its pink color.

It's a huge Masjid Nicely built in new town Putra Jaya and it is very catchy with marvelous artistic architecture inside and outside building. Very big dome and attractive Minars are attractive. Very neat and hygienic maintained so nicely. Ladies are allowed with burqua given at entrance for free and to be returned after visit. Very nice and super photos could be taken here. Allah is sitting prettily inside the mosque and draw much attention with surrounding decorations.

Such a pretty mosque with a lovely coral pink! The last time I came was 10 years ago when I was a child so seeing it again as a young adult made me feel very nostalgic indeed, especially visiting it on the day of Eid ul adha AND shaking hands with Mr.Zakir Naik (yes, his hands were soft and fleshy). I definitely recommend visiting such a beautiful mosque with such a large courtyard and crystals on the dome of the mosque.

Such a beautiful visit to this place. The Putra Mosque is the principal mosque of Putrajaya, Malaysia. Construction of the mosque began in 1997 and was completed two years later. It is located next to Perdana Putra, which houses the Malaysian Prime Minister's office and man-made Putrajaya Lake. Amazing place if you are visiting Putrajaya. Highly recommended!

(Translated by Google) Masjid Putra is a mosque with a pale pink granite dome. The cathedral can accommodate 15,000 devotees at the same time. The cathedral has three main areas - Prayer Hall, inner courtyard and classrooms and administrative rooms. Putra Cathedral has Islamic architecture in the style of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Morocco. Designed like Sheikh Oman cathedral in Baghdad Iraq. The prayer hall is simple and elegant, supported by 12 columns. The highest point under the dome is 76 meters. The courtyard (the Sahn) has many landscapes with decorative lake features and is surrounded by columns, providing prayer places when needed. Its impressive tower (minaret) was influenced by the design of Sheikh Omar mosque in Baghdad. At a height of 116 meters, it is the highest tower in the region and is classified into 5 steps, representing the 5 credits that Muslims must follow. The architecture of the mosque has a high tower in front because in the past, there was no modern media when it was time to celebrate the ceremony, there would be one person in the church to read aloud to all the villagers. to the ceremony. Especially ¾ of this pink temple located on Purtra Lake makes it more cool and beautiful. - Required when entering the mosque for visitors: Women wear long pants, long sleeves without much neck, otherwise you can borrow the pink gown of the staff at the entrance. Do not talk loudly in the cathedral. - In the mosque we will not see the image of Saint Ala (nor in Mecca). According to Islam, ordinary people cannot see Saint Ala, the second only Saint Ala creates all species so no one is allowed even in the Islamic art of painting nor to draw figures or sculptures sculpting people or animals. The direction of all the mosques goes back to Mecca. Before entering the ceremony, they had to wash their hands and feet and then go to the ceremony. When celebrating: Men sit separately, women sit separately so they do not get distracted during the ceremony. On the outside there is a way of escalating stairways down to the lake, taking beautiful pictures, there is a place to exchange money as well as drinking water, toilets for visitors.
