Undoubtedly the best sweet shop in Pondicherry for Bengalees, Odisha and North Indian people. Their Rosogolla, chomchom, anarkali and pantua (gulab jamun) will give a tough challenge to those so-called renowned sweet shops in Kolkata. The shop is very small and situated in a narrow road of Pondi. You can hire an auto from the Ashram beach road and go there. They also make hot samosas (singara as we say in Bengali), chanachur, nimkis and other snacks.

Gobindo's sweet shop is a hidden gem. This place probably has the softest, most delicious, melt in the mouth rasgulla in the world. Being a Bengali from Kolkata, I can vouch with a lot of certainty that Gobindo's rasgulla is probably the best rasgulla in the world!

Earlier it had quality products and very reasonably priced but now one is not so.

This is the only Bengali sweet shop in Pondicherry. though they dont have a lotta varieties but whatever they have is good only except rasmalai. And the location is also not easily accessible.
