You can always visit here anytime and chillout..This place is totally clean and well maintained. Very calm place where you can visit alone and not a crowded place. Good place to take pictures and videos. Not really a known place to everyone but its a best place to visit...

Hidden gem of Mangalore. Best time to visit would be during the sunset. Swimming is prohibited. A lot visitors have left their food and plastic waste here. Please avoid that.

Some of the lesser known places in Mangalore. A really beautiful and calm place. Located in vamanjoor, the route to this place is narrow but beautiful, better to go in two wheelers, autos or small cars. Close to the airport, if you're lucky to you can see take offs. Even the noise of flights landing is Amazing. In the distant there is a railway bridge which is also nice. Has good breeze, lot of birds and their chirping. Go there to enjoy a peaceful sunset. A nice place to sit and spend the evening.

A very beautiful place to chill early on the morning. Reaching here via bike is easy but via a cycle is quite grueling due to lot of steep roads.

Cool place with cool breez ...to sit and spend the evening this place is best though it is located bit inside from the vamajoor city... narrow road is there on the dam...best for evening walk Only small cars and autorickshaw will pass by this way...this dam way connects to Manglore airport route and moodshedde...the surrounding is too green.. swimming is dangerous here since it's deep about 10-15 feet arround...

The place is beautiful, calm and serene. The road to getting there isn't smooth but it's absolutely scenic. There's no ticket required but there are no amenities nearby. Best to carry your own food and water. There were no restrooms in sight either. But the place has very few visitors and hence is stunning and pristine.

Very beautiful location.Best time to visit is in the evening .But roads are very narrow and very difficult to take a turn,so go by only small cars or two wheelers .Two ways to reach here,one way is by near to the airport road ,which we had gone ...and other is from the mood shedde side .Later we come to know that by moodshedde side roads are far better.

Found this place while cycling. Beautiful place with a difficult approach during the monsoon as the roads aren't ready. Please note the bridge can only accommodate two wheelers don't try driving across it. Also the sides are unguarded so be careful while on the bridge especially with children. If you run into trouble help is far away !

The dam is situated at around 17km from Mangalore city limits . An extremely calm and serene place , one can watch the sunset on the river from either sides of the dam . Since the airport is nearby , the sight and sound of planes taking off and landing are consistent. However , getting there can be a little though , mainly because the area is isolated and the road narrows down to a muddy path towards the end .
