If you want a scenic view with an attached balcony do visit Hotel Fairstay. Mr. V Muthukrishnan (Manager) provided us a perfect valley view room. Room facilities included 24 hrs hot water for bathing & RO water (Hot & Cold). Food quality was good & tasty. Rooms were clean & spacious. As per the name Fairstay we experienced the soothing & cold feel of Ooty hills away from the city chaos

They sent a reminder with location details the previous day. Our rooms were ready when we reached. The rooms are adequate and clean. There is a small restaurant in the facility and the food is good. A small play area for the kids is also available.

My family and I went to Ooty where we stayed in a Fairstay resort for three days. The resort was clean and the guest was treated with respect. We stayed in two rooms 203 & 204 rooms. Hot water was always coming. The staff there were helpful. Breakfast was South Indian delicious too. According to me I would recommend this hotel as very convenient for those visiting Ooty.

Spacious rooms, nice view of nature. The food and restaurant area needs an upgrade, the cooking smell/smoke is spread in the eating area. Hot water availability in the room needs to be improved, few geysers were not working. Ooty like colder places, hot water is needed. Mobile network is bad here. Jio network sometimes works.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The early morning view from the balcony was as pretty as a picture. The location is perfect as we won't need to feel lonely because there are many hotels and homestays nearby. The rooms are big and neat with a small dressing room. Hot water for bathing was hot enough for the cold weather of Ooty. Food here was scrumptious and morsel. The staff was also amiable and the service was quick. Overall our stay at Fairstay Ooty was very good. We would surely visit it again.

We went to this place as all girls group in our own personal vehicle. There is a proper car park. The rooms were a little bit old but it was clean enough. We went on a long weekend but the price was fair for the rooms. They were ready to assist our needs immediately. Breakfast was very nice we liked the Vada very much. Cons: Breakfast was over pretty fast for one day of our stay. Please make sure to count the crowd and make enough food While we checked in nobody assisted with our room place as a result we went to a different block and came back to our block

Everything was nice. Very spacious rooms. Well maintained. Water purifier with hot water provision in room. Balcony view is good. Room service was excellent. The manager V Muthukrisnan was given excellent service during our stay. But wifi signal needs to be improved. Away from main market.

We had a fantastic stay at Fairstay, this hotel is located nearby a hill foot where we can see and enjoy the nature, CASCADES very close which most of the hotels may not have it, Rooms are neat, spacious, well maintained. They do have a 24*7 RO water facility for Hot n Cold water. Personal care taking by their staffs are very much appreciable.

During my 2 day stay , I encountered unsatisfactory room service at the resort.Despite requesting toiletries and towels there times, they were not provided. Additionally, the blankets were unclean, and the room felt excessively cold,atmost like ice. Although the breakfast was acceptable, there were other glaring issues.The drinking boiler machine was non- functional.worst stay ever... totally disappointed

Stayed there for 3days with family I would say , it was good experience. staffs Mr muthu and Mr Mari are so welcome &very helpful .There is in-house restaurant it serves tasty food..esp. Breakfast was too good. Car parking is available at their basement. Much recommended for family persons.

The stay was good. But for the three days we stayed tv was not working and I was little boring during the evening time. Breakfast and customer service is good.

Visited this place in October. Location is very good, close to all important tourist attractions. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Food tastes very good, especially the breakfast. Very helpful staff, service was very good. Would highly recommend this place 👍

For me it was a mixed experience, the staff is limited but they all make a lot of effort to make your stay as good as possible... Very humble people, the food is awesome. And the most important thing is the view we got from the balcony.

Visited Ooty during Christmas time and stayed in Fairstay. It's a decent hotel with neat rooms. It was quiet and neatly maintained. The service and support was good in terms of addressing the issues. For e.g., we were not getting hot water in the evening and when we reached out to reception, they immediately addressed the issue and provided a solution which is really good. Support staffs were polite and friendly. Breakfast was good as well and served hot and the hospitality was good. They were serving right at the table since the crowd was more Talking about the cons, housekeeping could have been done daily. Only after I requested, they cleaned the room and that too the bed spread wasn't changed. Room service could have been better, when we ordered for tea/coffee in the morning, the frontdesk asked us to go to the restaurant and have it as the crowd was more. They could have deployed additional workforce in such situations to service the customers.

Best Value for money, budget friendly hotel! The hotel is in prime location yet you can get a calm hill view room! Food is good! Hotel room is clean and well maintained! Friendly staffs! It has a seperate play area for kids! Would recommend for a family stay if you are looking for a decent hotel with a nice view and in budget!

Hotel is more look like a hostel rather than a hotel. Service was good. Location is little interior but the view from the balcony is good. They have an attached restaurant where food is just average.

Very good for family, Locations is near to Main road & Parking is available. Hotel staff is very polite & supportive. Delicious Food (service can be improved) Many options for breakfast.

The service staff was good, rooms were clean. Hot water etc was working Breakfast was okayish. The rooms were very cold and there was no room heater, etc. There were no bath slippers as well inspite of the cold. There were cigarette smells around their eating area and reception at times which I didn't like. This is a budget hotel so if you want a luxury experience then opt for somewhere else. Overall decent stay.

Balcony view was excellent. Food was amazing. All staff are well supported at everytime. 24hours water facilities. Room, restaurant and environment was very clean and neat.

First of all hotel room is good if you want something neat and clean and value for money but always emphasize on landscape view room Secondly, if you are north Indian you have to make arrangements for yourself in case of food because food is third class which hotel is providing. And hotel is situated at a place where no shops are available and restaurants available nearby even you will not get soft drinks here.

Pros: comfortable place for a stay and pretty much close to the ooty main city. Good stay and food within an affordable price. Cons: Heaters and Water purifiers not functioning sometimes and hopefully they will work on it.

If I could give a zero rating...I would have definitely rated it as zero. Absolute rude staff. I was asked to cancel the booking as I wanted to book it for one night instead of two. The staff is not welcoming at all. It was suppose to be my first visit to Tamil Nadu and this is how they have treated their guest. Please do not visit this place.

The service and the staff people was excellent and so kind...... They did all the arrangements well... The manager Mr. V.Muthukrishnan managed all the facilities provided to us.. All over the scenic view of the hotel was fab. In short the stay was great!
