Every vendor used to sell vegetables, for higher price than the acknowledged price by market office. Ulavar santhai staffs are not ready to decipline the market. I personally raised complaints many times about the issue, Staffs themselves tried to compromising me rather than controlling the vendors. None of the vendors, selling vegetables from their own farming. For the name sake it is called ulavar santhai.

One of the successfully running ulavar santhai in TN, Fresh vegetables directly sold by farmers @ low cost .starts early @ 6 o'clock in the morning , vegetables price will be displayed in black board by the ulavar santhai staffs ,Price will be 5-10 rupees lower then the other markets in the town.
