Unfortunately
a
huge
disappointment.
The
home-cured
salmon
was
inedible,
the
pancakes
burned.
The
former
is
individual
taste,
the
latter
can
happen,
but
the
way
the
waiter
handled
it
was
just
sad
and
inappropriate.
Due
to
the
contrast
to
other
experiences
I
take
the
time
for
a
detailed
review
and
not
only
write:
"31€
for
two
cups
of
coffee,
two
glasses
of
orange
juice
and
a
burnt
pancake.
Worst
service
experience
in
years."
Hopefully
an
exceptional
experience
based
on
other
reviews
of
the
cafe.
However,
due
to
the
horrific
experience,
we
cannot
in
good
conscience
recommend
anyone
to
try
it
themselves.
The
experience
was
particularly
disappointing,
as
the
café
really
put
a
lot
of
effort
into
the
renovation
and
is
not
only
very
nicely
decorated,
but
also
prepares
the
food
really
attractively
and
lovingly.
If
you
then
have
the
delicious-looking
plate
in
front
of
you,
are
really
looking
forward
to
breakfast
and
stop
at
the
first
bite
because
the
home-cured
salmon
is
tough
and
tastes
so
strong
that
it
no
longer
tastes
like
salmon,
the
perceived
disappointment
is
correspondingly
great.
Unfortunately,
the
second
tasting
of
the
salmon
was
no
different.
With
the
shrimp
cocktail,
the
only
thing
that
tasted
unpleasant
was
the
extremely
dominant
sauce.
The
service
already
reacted
somewhat
inappropriately
to
the
cautious
and
friendly
explanation
why
I
unfortunately
had
to
let
the
breakfast
go
back
almost
untouched.
My
companion's
pancakes
also
tasted
a
bit
strange,
so
we
turned
them
over
and
discovered
that
the
pancakes
had
been
burned
and
the
burned
sides
had
been
purposely
turned
downwards.
Overall,
we
almost
completely
missed
two
breakfasts
of
home-cured
salmon
and
shrimp
cocktails
and
three
out
of
four
burnt
pancakes.
The
fact
that
the
salmon
tasted
so
strong
and
didn't
taste
like
salmon
that
we
didn't
want
to
eat
it
is,
as
I
said,
a
matter
of
subjective
taste.
When
asked
if
she
could
please
match
us
on
the
price
as
we
returned
almost
everything,
after
a
lengthy
lecture
on
fresh
and
packaged
salmon,
cod
and
trout,
the
waitress
said
they
did
a
great
job
with
the
food
and
couldn't
may
be.
When
told
that
the
pancakes
were
burnt
and
the
burnt
sides
were
simply
turned
down,
she
replied
that
the
fruit
was
fresh.
And
that
you
could
maybe
even
make
the
pancakes
new
if
we
don't
want
to,
but
there's
nothing
to
be
done
about
the
price.
She
then
wanted
to
get
the
boss,
but
came
back
with
the
statement
that
the
boss
was
busy
and
that
the
boss
wasn't
there.
We
were
then
waived
a
cup
of
coffee
with
reluctance
expressed
several
times.
So
instead
of
paying
€35,
we
only
paid
€31
for
two
cups
of
coffee,
two
orange
juices
made
from
orange
juice
concentrate
and
a
burnt
pancake.
All
in
all
incredibly
disappointing.
Edit:
Answer
to
the
owner's
reaction
Thank
you
for
your
detailed
answer.
If
the
reaction
of
their
on-site
waitress
had
been
similar,
we
would
not
have
found
the
experience
to
be
exclusively
negative.
My
companion
is
very
polite
and
only
expresses
criticism
in
rare
cases
when
she
feels
it
is
really
necessary.
It
didn't
help
that
the
waiter
scolded
her
and
told
us
quite
bluntly
that
we
obviously
didn't
know
what
salmon
tasted
like
and
that
the
burnt
pancakes
were
a
good
job
because
of
the
laboriously
cut
fruit.
Thank
you
for
offering
to
re-experience
your
coffee
shop.
Perhaps
based
on
the
service
we
experienced
there
and
the
fact
that
neither
salmon
nor
shrimp
cocktails
nor
pancakes
were
really
edible,
you
understand
that
after
this
experience
we
feel
no
need
to
visit
your
cafe
again
in
the
near
future.
But
thank
you
for
the
much
better
reaction
and
all
the
best
for
the
future!
(Original)
Leider
eine
riesige
Enttäuschung.
Der
hausgebeizte
Lachs
war
ungenießbar,
die
Pancakes
angebrannt.
Ersteres
ist
individueller
Geschmack,
Letzteres
kann
schon
einmal
passieren,
aber
der
Umgang
der
Bedienung
damit
war
einfach
traurig
und
unangemessen.
Aufgrund
des
Kontrasts
zu
anderen
Erfahrungen
nehme
ich
mir
die
Zeit
für
eine
ausführliche
Rezension
und
schreibe
nicht
nur:
"31€
für
zwei
Tassen
Kaffee,
zwei
Gläser
Orangensaft
und
einen
angebrannten
Pancake.
Schlechteste
Serviceerfahrung
der
letzten
Jahre."
Hoffentlich
eine
Ausnahmeerfahrung,
wenn
man
sich
andere
Rezensionen
des
Cafés
ansieht.
Wir
können
aufgrund
der
schrecklichen
Erfahrung
jedoch
niemandem
guten
Gewissens
empfehlen,
es
selbst
zu
versuchen.
Die
Erfahrung
war
vor
allem
enttäuschend,
da
sich
das
Café
beim
Umbau
wirklich
Mühe
gegeben
hat
und
nicht
nur
sehr
schön
eingerichtet
ist,
sondern
auch
die
Speisen
wirklich
ansprechend
und
liebevoll
herrichtet.
Wenn
man
dann
den
lecker
aussehenden
Teller
vor
sich
hat,
sich
riesig
auf
das
Frühstück
freut
und
beim
ersten
Bissen
innehält,
weil
der
hausgebeizte
Lachs
zäh
ist
und
derart
streng
schmeckt,
dass
er
nicht
mehr
nach
Lachs
schmeckt,
ist
die
empfundene
Enttäuschung
entsprechend
groß.
Auch
beim
zweiten
Kosten
des
Lachses
war
dies
leider
nicht
anders.
Beim
Shrimpscocktail
hat
man
nur
die
äußerst
dominante
Sauce
unangenehm
geschmeckt.
Auf
die
vorsichtig
und
freundlich
geäußerte
Begründung,
warum
ich
das
Frühstück
leider
fast
unangetastet
zurückgehen
lassen
muss,
hat
die
Bedienung
bereits
etwas
unangemessen
reagiert.
Auch
die
Pancakes
meiner
Begleitung
haben
etwas
komisch
geschmeckt,
woraufhin
wir
sie
umgedreht
und
entdeckt
haben,
dass
die
Pancakes
angebrannt
und
die
angebrannten
Seiten
bewusst
nach
unten
gedreht
worden
waren.
Insgesamt
haben
wir
die
beiden
Frühstücke
mit
hausgebeiztem
Lachs
und
Shrimpcocktails
fast
vollständig
und
drei
von
vier
angebrannten
Pancakes
zurückgehen
lassen.
Dass
der
Lachs
so
streng
und
nicht
nach
Lachs
geschmeckt
hat,
dass
wir
ihn
nicht
essen
wollten,
ist
wie
gesagt
subjektiver
Geschmack.
Auf
die
Frage,
ob
sie
uns
bitte
beim
Preis
entgegenkommen
könne,
da
wir
fast
alles
haben
zurückgehen
lassen,
meinte
die
Bedienung
nach
einer
ausschweifenden
Belehrung
über
frischen
und
verpackten
Lachs,
Kabeljau
und
Forelle,
dass
sie
beim
Essen
tolle
Arbeit
geleistet
haben
und
dies
nicht
möglich
sei.
Auf
den
Hinweis,
dass
die
Pancakes
angebrannt
und
die
angebrannten
Seiten
einfach
nach
unten
gedreht
waren
entgegnete
sie,
dass
aber
dafür
das
Obst
frisch
gewesen
sei.
Und
dass
man
die
Pancakes
ja
vielleicht
sogar
neu
machen
könne,
wenn
wir
das
nicht
wollen
sei
aber
beim
Preis
nichts
zu
machen.
Sie
wollte
dann
den
Chef
holen,
kam
aber
mit
der
Äußerung
zurück,
dass
der
Chef
beschäftigt
und
die
Chefin
nicht
da
sei.
Uns
wurde
dann
mit
mehrfach
geäußertem
Widerwillen
eine
Tasse
Kaffee
erlassen.
Wir
haben
also
statt
35€
nur
31€
für
zwei
Tassen
Kaffee,
zwei
Orangensäfte
aus
Orangensaftkonzentrat
und
einen
angebrannten
Pancake
bezahlt.
Alles
in
allem
unglaublich
enttäuschend.
Edit:
Antwort
auf
Reaktion
des
Inhabers
Danke
für
Ihre
ausführliche
Antwort.
Wenn
die
Reaktion
ihrer
Bedienung
vor
Ort
ähnlich
verlaufen
wäre,
wäre
die
Erfahrung
von
uns
nicht
als
ausschließlich
negativ
empfunden
worden.
Meine
Begleitung
ist
sehr
höflich
und
äußert
Kritik
nur
in
seltenen
Fällen,
wenn
sie
es
als
wirklich
nötig
empfindet.
Dass
die
Bedienung
ihr
dabei
dann
über
den
Mund
gefahren
ist
und
uns
recht
unverblümt
zu
verstehen
gegeben
hat,
dass
wir
offensichtlich
nicht
wissen
wie
Lachs
zu
schmecken
habe
und
die
angebrannten
Pancakes
wegen
des
mühsam
geschnittenen
Obstes
gute
Arbeit
seien,
hat
nicht
geholfen.
Danke
für
Ihr
Angebot,
Ihr
Café
noch
einmal
neu
zu
erleben.
Vielleicht
verstehen
Sie
aufgrund
des
von
uns
vor
Ort
erlebten
Services
und
dem
Umstand,
dass
wirklich
weder
Lachs,
noch
Shrimpscocktails
oder
Pancakes
genießbar
waren,
dass
wir
nach
dieser
Erfahrung
kein
Bedürfnis
verspüren,
Ihr
Café
in
naher
Zukunft
erneut
zu
besuchen.
Aber
vielen
Dank
für
die
deutlich
bessere
Reaktion
und
alles
Gute
für
die
Zukunft!
