What a beautiful historical piece of work.

Beautiful castle in a quiet old village. The castle in under reconstruction so it can not been seen in its all beauty. Rooms are clean but a bit old. Breakfast was delicious.

Unusual hotel in a huge wonderful castle. Nice old-fashioned furnished rooms with a modern bathroom. Wide outdoor square inside the walls, enjoyable during the warm season. The entrance should be indicated better.

We stayed here for my brother's wedding and we were placed in a standard room because it had more space for the 2 pack and plays needed for my kids. The manager was friendly but it was not genuine. We couldn't get connection with wifi and he kept claiming he would attempt to fix it and never did. He was our liaison with the airport and he was tardy with his promised communication. My brother was in a car accident and couldn't fly and they requested half of the would be bill. The breakfast was literally the same thing every day with no variation and no options really for non german kids. To top it off they attempted to charge one of friends 200 euro for a superposed urine stain on a duvet we never saw. My friend had no drinks in the room and wasnt drunk and furthermore not an animal. Here are my thoughts. The manager Matt is either trying to compensate for days where this establishment clearly not occupied in this very little town or and i hope not he may be a racist

I'll say that it was okay because the room that we stayed in was too modern didn't give me the feeling that I was staying in a castle, the criminal dinner is very nice,and the breakfast is okay.

Fantastic hotel. Beds are very very comfortable, it is modern and clean and the bathroom is amazing. The castle is great as well!!! Recommended.

A great place for events. I was here for a scientific conference 7 years ago and I will never forget the experience.

Good atmosphere! The castle is associated with the great 20th-century German pianist Wilhelm Kempff (1895-1991) and his family of musicians, who lived there for ten years.

Very clean and neat hotel near motorway. Rooms recently renovated. Breakfast fit for kings. Highly recommended.
