Hot chocolate and Americano was out of the world. The Lotus Biscoff was brilliant. However, Mr.Vipin killed the experience for us by being unnecessarily rude to us. We ordered Tiramisu which on the menu looked fantastic. Eventually we got something in a jar that looked very different from the pic on the menu (pics attached). Can't blame the restaurant entirely for this, so when we saw the (unopened) jar, we pointed out that it was not what's on the menu. His reply was "why should it be similar to that" ? Thereafter, we asked if he can replace the unopened jar with a Lotus biscoff cheesecake. He took out the frustration by saying that it wasn't available. Sitting just a couple feet away from the display, we pointed there were 3 pcs in it. He still said, "I need to confirm with the kitchen". We didn't know how to react to that ! This is really not what we expected from apparently one of the high end cafes in Kochi. Utterly disappointed!

There’s literally nothing bad on this menu. Mango shakes, chicken parm, Thai chicken coconut soup, fried chicken, and cakes. Highly recommend Cocoa Tree.

Still my favourite place to hangout in Cochin. The food options have changed but still going strong. The best feature of this place is the ambience, even after years and all the changes it remains real cozy(a tad bit colder for me)

Those who love a cozy quiet place to dine in, this is the place. Seats are arranged in such a way that every person is entitled to their much needed privacy of their own. This place is famous for their Continental cuisine. Salads, steaks, Shakes, Pasta, you name it, they have it! The food is delicious and the presentation is really commendable. Friendlier staff and awesome ambience too! A must visit!

Cocoa Tree is a nice cafe located within Avenue Regent at MG Road. The ambience inside the cafe is nice and quaint. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Ordered a cheesecake, a couple of mocktails and garlic bread. The pastry was delicious. The mocktails and garlic bread were okay. Overall a great cafe to visit for couples, families or friends.

All time favourite. We always make it a point to be here everytime we travel to Cochin. Never disappointed us.

In case you are looking for continental food, shakes or pastries then Cocoa tree restaurant attached to Avenue regent hotel is the best in Kerala . Their shakes are to die for . Sandwiches ( Steak and onion especially) and burgers are world class . Portion sizes are good. The presentation is awesome. Seats and comfortable and the whole restaurant is child friendly. Service is good . Overall a must try restaurant in Kerala, not just in Ernakulam.

I ordered for a few pastries, they were good, ordered for a Blueberry Cheesecake, Excess Chocolate and Raspberry Red Velvet. The Blueberry Cheesecake was one of my favourites! There was not much crowd, delivery was prompt.

Cocoa Tree is a delight for the senses. From the flavorful C.T Club sandwich to the zesty Buffalo Chicken Wings, every bite was a treat. The Seafood Cannelloni was a homemade masterpiece, and the Rocky Road Sundae was a sweet symphony of ice cream, caramel popcorn, brownie, pecan, fudge, and salted caramel. The cozy ambiance adds to the experience. Cocoa Tree is a must-visit for its diverse and satisfying flavors

Good place to hangout with friends or family for a chat. Good selection of the variety of coffeezzz...Their milkshakes are amazing especially "Chocolate Excess".

Good cafe in the premises of Avenue Regency hotel at MG road. Excellent choice of snacks, coffee and patisserie. Slightly pricy but you won't regret it. It's worth the buck. Parking can occasionally be a challenge especially on weekends. Limited seating space so larger groups not possible. Gift hampers during Christmas and Easter is a definite hit.

The food here is decent (limited vegetarian options though). The desserts are amazing. A definite must visit for someone with a sweet tooth. More vegetarian options could be added to the menu. Overall a good place to visit with family or friends.

At first sight you'd think twice for ordering at such high prices.. But once you taste the ah mazing food they serve you'd keep wanting for more! Loved their service and would highly recommend!

The sound from mezzo mixed with the music in coco tree. It was a terrible experience. No one seemed to understand the issue. People in charge said the music was locked. Thats a bogus reply. Food was a little over average. Salads were good. Meats were average.

They had lots of great vegan options and though they weren't labelled it was fairly easy to figure out. I got the Arabic Mezze Bowl which was great. I also had the cranberry iced tea which was great. Another time I had the lime and mint lemonade which wasn't as good as the iced tea. They were one of the only places that I saw in Kochi that had almond and soy milk.

This is a review going back to 2006 when they started with chocolate fountain that we could dip strawberries into, valentine's day 2006. Since then I along with my mates have been a regular there. Our absolute favorite used to be the excess avalanche (warmed chocolate excess pastry with a scoop of vanilla icecream), poor boy sandwich, beef bolognese. Service has always been good.

The plum cake from coco Tree was a delightful indulgence. Its moist texture and rich flavor made each bite a heavenly experience.Moreover, the staff's courteous and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of satisfaction to the overall dining experience.The best Christmas cake I ever tasted!

Went to this cafe with great expectations and hope. All shattered. Milkshakes are below average, made with extreme sugar. Cake was not that great. Burgers too were cold and tasteless. And the price we paid didn't justify the taste we got in return. So it is worthless. Ambience is top notch, but what's the use if we get such tasteless food with such a high price.

One of the best place to satisfy your appetite and tickle your taste buds with flavour full desserts and bakery confectionery. One of best outlet I had a chance to visit in Ernakulam and surprisingly it doesn't even make a hole in your pocket. Must must try for everyone when get a chance. The fancy place and ambience might demotivate you considering it may turn out to be expensive but that is not True. Do visit once when you get a chance.

Ordered the chicken alfredo pasta and the mixed berry cheesecake. Expensive but very delicious. Worth the price. The restaurant had a very good ambience and it's a fun place to hang out. Would go there again. 😋😀

We ordered the Fish n Chips & Gordon's Chilly Prawn Spaghetti. Both were delicious. I liked the Spaghetti a tad bit more 🙂

I was in search for some good hot chocolate in kochi and found in cocoa tree cafe. Their hot chocolate was actually good but on a sweeter side. The ambiance in here is good for hangout and also to work. The ambience is pretty good but there is no wifi available here. The cost is on a higher side I felt. I will go here to try their food in future.

Terrific cafe. Amazing desserts. Lovely ambience. Try the Mudslide for sure. The Macaroons are yummy too. Tiramisu was a bit of a let down. Too much cream and not enough Sponge and coffee. Overall, great place for desserts.

So, after a 2 year long gap, I'm here in Cochin for a short holiday. Cocoa Tree has always been a hangout spot for us. The branch at MG road has a special place in my heart, with so many memories!! Wel tonight, was a bit of a let down, in terms of the service. Probably the guys had long day and wanted to wrap up while we showed up for a quick dessert n coffee.. The Crème Brûlée, the Pecan pie and coffee were just perfect to wrap up our day!! So, my request is to keep up the spirit and bring on the smiles!!

The good old cocoa tree at mg road. The loaded mac and cheese with bacon is my absolute favorite here and the cafe mocha is a real hot drink to go with it :)

I have had food from here few times and this place hasn’t disappointed. Their food is delicious and tummy filling and worth the price. Good quality dishes. Loved their burgers and lasagna.

Late post alert. I had visited this place 3 weeks ago for lunch. This spot was my favourite but not anymore. It was at around 2.30- 3 pm, that me and my husband visited there and had ordered for green herb chicken steak for lunch. Before placing the order itself i had asked the restaurant specifically what approx time they would take to prepare and deliver. They told me 20 mins. I told them not to be late as I am pregnant and need to have my lunch asap. They said fine. We waited and waited and waited for 1 whole hour. I could see a rush in the restaurant and they were keen to deliver the orders on every other table but not ours. I was freaking out of hunger and wanted to immediately leave the place but still held there thinking i might get the good food soon. One hour passed by, and when I consistently asked for the status of my order they had brought it on the table. The moment i had one tiny portion of it, i was absolutely disheartened. The chicken steak was ice cold (as if it was prepared hours ago and left it like that), the mashed potatoes were saltless and tasting absolutely rubbish (compared to what they used to serve before Covid). I was furious by the entire experience and left the place after asking them to take it back and cancelling that meal. They were inconsiderate of the situation that I was pregnant and didnt try to deliver me food on time. However, while i was leaving they said unwilling that they can heat the food again and serve but who would want to have that again after waiting for more than an hour. I would never wish to visit this place ever again👎🏻. Absolutely unhappy👎🏻👎🏻.

We ve been frequenting this place for the past 10 odd years or so - they ve been consistent in their hospitality and their food - we absolutely love every item on their menu - and there is never a time we miss visiting here - we were there today as well - greeted by their all rounder Mr.Sony - he remembers us from when we used to come here - thats how friendly their staff are - we had their steak and onion sandwich, their mudslide and the lime mint lemonade - all consistently good - but its really their staff like Sony who make all the difference - highly recommended

Excellent long standing cafe in town. Very good food, well done interiors, good service, slightly pricey but not bad for a cafe attached to one of the best 4 star hotels in the city. The cold coffees, chicken wings, burgers, sandwiches, pasta are all good. Good pastries as well. The tenderloin beef with garlic noodles is a personal favourite. Overall, clearly one of the best in the city amongst soooo many other cafes.
