Yesterday we visited here with family. Awesome food. We ordered mix grill platter and some other items,everything was good as we expected. I feel like food has real Arabic food aroma and flavors. The ambience and hospitality was also so good. Good option for Arabic food.

Bab Arabia has now turned out to be my most favourite food spot in the entire Kochi. The staff has mastered the art of dealing with their customers according to their tastes and preferences. As we were not familiar with most of the food items in their menu, the staff were really helpful in suggesting the proper food items that are of the correct quantity for all of us. The main chef from Turkey, Mr.Tarik Baba who is a very renowned chef was very friendly and interactive with all of us. He asked us about all our requirements and tastes and provided us with the best that we could have. The ambience inside the restaurant is another notable thing here. It is designed and decorated in an Arabic style with those eye-catching varieties of light. There is music playing while we have food which was good. The food items were the best in class. Everything we were served was fantastic and tempting. Even though the place is a bit expensive, the food served here is worth every penny. Especially the family platter and the ribs along with the lamb brothe soup was just outstanding. Had a really great experience for all of us at Bab Arabia. Keep going team Bab Arabia. Inshallah ❤️

Very good food - enjoyed Beef Fillet (with an excellent creamy sauce) and Beef Kapama (an Arabic biriyani but the beef is more flavoured than most Arabic biriyanis). Service was also very good.

This is an amazing diner option that sells you a great culinary experience - be it from the moment you walk in and they make you feel so warmly welcome, down to the last detail of your dining experience. Their wait staff are well informed about the details of the dishes they serve you and so you are informed in advance what's special about each dish and what goes into it and what are the flavours that go into making the dish what it is. We have had a few great experiences here. This time it was a take-out. We went in for the Greek salad and the pita bread with humus and chicken and two helpings of the To-Die-For Turkish Kunafa with cheese and cream. The cost was quite reasonable considering the dishes we ordered were quite exotic.

I had a great experience at Bab Arabia Restaurant a while ago, loving their Kapama. However, my recent visit left me disappointed. The Kapama was not up to par; it wasn't hot enough, and the chicken portion was minimal compared to the rice. I found it overpriced. Service was okay, but the person outside seemed disinterested and constantly on the phone, ignoring customer inquiries. If I could, I'd rate it 0 stars.

Had lunch from there with frnds . Totally disappointed. Atmosphere and service was good . But food is not all authentic or recommended. Beef kapama was like some spicy rice with barely mixed shredded meat. Buhari rice not not all recommended. Not authentic. Arayees weights like tissue paper and no meat at all. Kabab was just okay. Not at all satisfied . Quality Doesnt match with price anyway . Paid around 450-500 for a dish which barely enough for one. Disappointed

I recently dined at Bab Arabia Turkish restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The Istanbul kebab was a flavor explosion — succulent and rich. Bab Arabia is one of the best Arabic restaurants in Kochi. The place is very good for family as well as friends gatherings. They offer variety of arabic dishes and interestingly all are served in a very good presentation. I had tried the Arabic platter, it had different varieties of Grilled chicken, roties, beef and a rice dish all of them were very nice. The ambience is very pleasent moreover they serve in a very good quantity too. The staffs are very friendly and very informative about the dishes. There's amble parking space for cars as well.

A must try place in Kochi for every food lovers who likes to tryout different Arabic/Turkish food items. You can visit here with your friends, family and colleagues. They provide good seating with nice ambiance. Their service is also good. Each item in their menu is unique and is a quiet new experience for our taste buds. My personal favourite is their Chicken Kapama (Can have it either for lunch or for dinner).

The food quantity you get is very very less compared to the price you pay. We had arayees, which barely had any meat and it cost some 380 rupees. The kapama mutton biryani, while it tasted okay, had barely any mutton in it and you pay 450. I can't vouch for the taste as it was my first time. The Bukhari was just some masala rice and not at all authentic. The Adena kabab was excellent. Arayees was a total rip off. Really disappointed. The place was clean and service was good. But exorbitant prices and measly portions. Disappointed.

The place had an Arabic ambience overall and the service was good. The place is very good for family as well as friendship gatherings. We tried the Arabic family pack. It had different varieties of grilled chicken, roties, beef, fish and a rice dish. All of them were very nice. .The ambience is very pleasant. Moreover, they serve in very good quantities too. The staff are very friendly and very informative about the dishes.

I've tried beef and chicken Kapama, must try items from the joint. Kapama is a beautiful baked dish of shredded meat, rice, and veggies served with mayonnaise and salad. Also, a good atmosphere is to enjoy the food.

One off the worst in Cochin! Long waiting periods after food is ordered. Food as such is very average. Kebabs don't come with any dips or sauces, or even a salad. If you need something, you have to ask like a zillion times! Seating options are terrible. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Consider as a 4.5 star, but not 5. The ambience is good, the food aroma in the air is tempting. I don't k how whether they do have any kid friendly meal a available. I tried a dish called Kapama chicken which is less spicy in their opinion and I would say maybe compared to their other dishes it will be less spicy. Also that wasn't much attractive compared to the Biriyani type food we have around. Service & staffs are good, have two different portions apart from main dining for groups or big families. Need to have more visits to try other dishes as well to say a final comment.

Extremely Bad experience. Not My taste. Ordered Istanbul kebab and it was not at all worth it. Also in menu it was shown 380 and charged 450 . They said they had increased quantity of the kebabs.Also had two PC's of broasted chicken which was uncooked, and lamb broth soup tasted like a normal hot and sour soup. Anyway I won't go over there again. Don't fall for the mixed reviews. For kebabs Fanoos/Saleem javed/Yaghma are good options.

Limited veg options but apart that the taste is very good and non-veg options are many. At the end we ordered kunafa to celebrate the great food we had but unfortunately the amount the the price we paid was too less.

The ambience inside is good. The food took more than 30 minutes to get. But despite that food was below average. The fried rice and Gobi Manchurian was poor tasting especially for such high prices. A fancy place obviously but poor craft. Maybe some Arabian dishes are better, i don't know.

A nice Restaurant with a very good arabain vibe. Even though the restaurant seems small, they have beautifully designed the interior making it cozy and full on vibe. I tried kappama rice (chicken) and sheesh thavook (not sure of the spellings) . Both of them was delicious. Before this I have tried kappama rice from Alibaba and 41 dishes in Angamaly. When comparing both of these I liked their kappama more. It's not like this one is bad here. It's tasty and yummy, but felt could have been a little more better. Also I found the quanity was a less for quater. I am glad that I tried their sheesh thavook. I really enjoyed the flavour. The staffs are well behaved and really liked their service.

It's a nice place to try some Arabic cuisine, it takes bit longer in serving the dish. Place is neat and tidy. Good staff behavior.

Recently visited this place for dinner with family and friends. The place has a good Ambience. They have a huge menu with amazing spread of Arabian cusines. We started with mutton soup, then Mix Pide, Istanbul kabab. Later we ordered a special arabian platter which was a huge one with lots of kababs, chicken Al faham, madi rice, mutton sheek, fish grill.It was amazing. We ended with some kunafa, not the best inhad but decent.Its a nice place to hangout and enjoy arabic delicacies

Best Customer Service with premium facilities. Their food presentation and serving was awesome. we're a group of six people, ordered hot sour Chicken Soup which avg... Chicken Lollipop was superb... We've ordered Chicken Kapama, which is one of the Signature items of Bab Arabia... It was Amazing... Buhari Rice Was just a below avg item... Then the Beef Ribs was also very good... Finally ordered kunafa... With cheese... That was also an amazing one... The total bill was around 3500rs...Which is Quite reasonable for a premium category Restaurant... Highly recommended for a group of people and families... Best time to visit in the Evening... Accepts All types of payment like UPI and Cards...

The best thing to do here is to let the waiter suggest the dishes...not one went wrong when we did that...All were pretty good. The waiters were pretty good in their service, very polite and friendly. A good place to consider for Arabic dishes.

Visiting place for the second time, it's just an okay place hyped up by social media for their one single dish that comes in a pot covered with dough. Most of chicken starters not available maybe cause of the hike in price of chicken cause they have everything other dosh made with chicken. It's been a few years I guess since they started, unable to replace their chipped plates as of yet. Even if you have plans of visiting go for the younger guy who takes orders who seems to be more friendly rather than the guy with specs who is not approachable while taking orders. For the drinks I chose a juice that's a combination of both orange and pineapple but apparently it tastes like mango instead mostly cause they don't even clean the jar from the previous juice that they made. Going by two stars for the second time experience.

The place had an arabic ambience overall and the service was good. I ordered the Kapama Chicken. At first I didn't feel the flavours but gradually they started to kick in as I added some of their tomato raita. The quantity was good for the price. Their mint lime was good though it was not chilled. But they happily chilled it for me.

Tried falafel & chilly garlic cheese pride. Very much recommended for vegetarians. And the Kapama mutton/chicken is a must try for non vegetarians. Good service too.

It is a very nice restaurant. Staffs are very friendly explains very clearly about the dishes. They help us to get a best dish as per our wish from their specialities. I had visited several times with my family. The staff recommend their special food items, in my experience it all were so nice... I recommend it personally. They separate space for 8-10 member group and families.

I absolutely adored the authentic Arabic dishes at Bab Arabia. The warm reception at the entrance was delightful, but unfortunately, the waiter's service didn't live up to the initial welcome. The waiter appeared disinterested and lacked knowledge when it came to answering our questions about the dishes. It seems there may be room for improvement in terms of their training.

Good place for middle Eastern food. Ambiance not very great. Ordered sweet corn soup and it ended up having bad smell and taste. But arabic dishes are great. Better not order anything other than middle eastern.

Nice ambience and good service by the staff. Had kapama mutton and turkish barbeque along with kubboos. Kubboos was really soft and the barbeque was so yumm. Kapama was good too, if not the best. Had also Umm ali as desert. I wouldn't say it was authentic but was pretty close to it.

Al Nazik and Sheesh Tawook were good. Rest of what we ordered was average. And the Turkish Grill was basically Al Faham. Service was lacklustre. Value for money wasn't the best either.

One of the few places where I felt like we can actually consider the food "Arabic". Tried a bunch of stuff here, the kebabs and the pide are absolute must try. The shish tawook was pretty decent too. Their heels so far has been really nice, even the wings were awesome (I'm usually not a wings fan) Do try the salad bar, gives a really good variety and they're all delicious! I also really liked the puff roti, although the lavash might be a more affordable and almost as good an option. Their pita bread comes as a fluffy bread, which was a surprise for me, but a nice option to dip in and eat. The Arayees was good too! The service was nice, they have a really nice manager there. We were told that the chef was Arab (Turkey if I remember right) and you can tell that from the taste of the food The ambience and seating is quite nice. Both the times we came here, we didn't struggle for parking. The price is a tad bit on the higher side, but the food won't disappoint. The falafel, although tasty, did not hit the spot, for falafel lovers out there, keep looking, this is not it

I recently visited Bab Arabia in Panampilly Nagar, Kochi, on October 7, 2023, and I have to say, I was quite disappointed with their Oreo shake. Firstly, the quality was subpar. It seemed like they had just mixed some milk with Oreo biscuit powder. The shake had two distinct layers, one with plain milk and the other with Oreo powder, giving it the appearance of Oreo-flavored milk. What made matters worse was the price – a whopping ₹160 for what essentially tasted like a glass of milk with a sprinkle of Oreo dust. It felt significantly overpriced for the quality and quantity they offered. To make things even more disappointing, when I brought up my concerns to the staff, they insisted that this was indeed their Oreo shake. Their response was rather unprofessional and didn't address my dissatisfaction. Overall, my experience with the Oreo shake at Bab Arabia was not pleasant. I would advise anyone looking for a satisfying Oreo shake to consider other options in the area, as this one falls short in terms of quality and value for money. Please look at the photo's

When you search for the top Arabic restaurants in and around Kochi, you will definitely find Bab Arabia over there. Last month, we decided to try Bab Arabia for our weekend dinner. Started with a lamb brothe soup, which was served hot and spicy with minced lamb. We liked it 👍 For the main course, our choice was Turkish bbq and Kapama chicken. Turkish bbq was just ok. But, the kapama chicken was good, in flavor, spice, and quantity. Finally, a kunafa as the dessert. But, being someone who tasted kunafa from the Middle East nations, can't rate it more than just ok. Enough seating space, designed with dim light and paintings, offering us an Arabic touch, Bab Arabia is a good restaurant for a family dine out. Parking will be a challenge, but you can find parking on the roadside. Accepts all mode of payment.

Bab Arabia is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool, the staff is also really friendly(Mr.jijin). They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, kapama chicken and Adana kebab is nice 👍
