A place well known for the pazhampori-beef combo. Being not a big fan of the combo, undoubtedly they serve the best beef roast in Tripunithura and their pazhampori is also good. Sufficient dining area available but parking might be an issue. Table service can be improved.

The restaurant is famous for Banana fry and beef curry, but I liked Parotta and beef fry combo the most. The staffs are helpful and good. The place is in middle of crowded area and Inadequate spaces within the premises for parking 2-3 cars. So far the best beef fry that I have had in Kochi.

Pazhampori and beef was the special dish that make this place famous I have visited this place around 3 years back but this time I couldn't get the same taste as before. This time the beef curry was just average and feels overpriced for this

Awesome pazhampori and beef. If you are game for a sweet and spicy combo this is a must try. They serve awesome banana fritters with beef which is a great duo. Though not everyone would like it, I just loved the taste. The place is usually busy and might need some more hygiene check ups. With holding a star for its hygiene standards.

I went for the famous Pazhampori-Beef combo. Well the hype is real they serve good combos of pazhampori and really good beef. Its exceptionally tasty. The food and the ambiance is neat and good. The rate per head for the combo wad 135rs. It was worth the cost.

The whole restaurant is like a hot oven 🥵 or sauna as they don't have a heat sucking machine. The staff sweats a lot and is a health hazard for them(mostly North Indians). One small a/c room is there, try your luck there if you want to eat here. Beef is good quality. Cooked fresh and soft. And banana fry is also good and fresh. Beef is less spicy than we get in Kerala restaurants. To me the beef was a bit more salty and kinda flavorless. Perhaps because the banana roast taste overpowers it. But the onion slices adds a lot of taste and balances the flavour! I don't think I visit again.

Last week we tried the famous pazhampori beef combination here. It's awesome ... 4 -5 years back we had tried the same here. At that time this shop was a very small one. Now the shop is renovated with enlarged dining facilities ...

"I recently had the pleasure of trying the combination of beef and pazham pori along with poratta at Sree Muruga Cafe. It was an absolutely delightful culinary experience that left me craving for more. The beef was tender and bursting with flavor, cooked to perfection with just the right blend of spices. It had that authentic, homemade taste that's hard to find in many restaurants. The pazham pori, on the other hand, was a perfect sweet and crispy complement to the savory beef. The bananas were ripe and coated in a light, crunchy batter that was not greasy at all. They provided a delightful contrast to the rich flavors of the beef. The poratta was soft and fluffy, making it an ideal vessel for sopping up the flavorful beef gravy. It was evident that the chefs at Sree Muruga Cafe take great care in crafting their porattas. The combination of these three dishes was a symphony of flavors and textures that left me thoroughly satisfied. I can't recommend this meal enough to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic taste of Kerala cuisine. I'll definitely be returning to Sree Muruga Cafe for more of this delightful culinary experience."

My experience was very nice with amazing food. I went for Pazhampori -beef which is very good in taste. A sufficient dining area is available but you can face the problem of parking. The washroom condition is not so good. Cleanliness was not so good. The restaurant is budget-friendly, and you have not cut corners.

They’re the pioneers of combining sweetness and spicy-ness. I remember vividly their pazhampori and beef roast to be really good when I had it about five years ago but the taste isn’t the same anymore. All I could taste and see on the plate was immense calories. Pazhampori wasn’t hot and the beef roast tasted foul. I wish they’d serve their good stuff.

It was good but very crowded and had to wait a long time for seats. Famous for pazhampori and beef. Ambience is ok and noisy. Online payments are accepted ( only above ₹50) parking area is very limited and customer service is just okay. Taste was good. Overall its a good one. Price is affordable

As always, we went to try their signature dish : 'pazhampori with beef combo'. There were so many articles showcased at the entrance about this dish. So we were super excited to try that out and it turned out to be okay not extremely good that all the youtubers were blabbering about. Interestingly, we also ordered Chicken biriyani and it was just awesome.. parking is very limited and there is no security to help you out ..

Tried pazhampori and beef combo from the origin. Seems like hyped for me. I didn't like the combination. Individual both Pazham pori and beef is so good in taste. Quantity wise beef curry was too much for 3 porotta to have.

Had pazhampori beef roast and ghee roast from here. Pazhampori and beef roast are heavily priced ( quantity of beef pieces are low and many pieces are non-eatable). Ghee roast was okay, not great. I felt disappointed after eating from here. Inside the restaurant felt like an oven due to less ventilation. Can't say the restaurant was well cleaned.

Sree Muruga Hotel is Famous for Pazhampori and Beef Combination. I also tried the same for checking the quality and taste of the dish. But the taste is mind-blowing while we eat both at the same time. Good combination and also if you had a ☕ Tea , then you will be like in a Taste world

We have visited this place for the Pazhampori and Beef combo for their hype and it didn't disappoint us. Very hygenic place with AC and service was also good though. We have tried beef, parota and Gopi Manchurian and finally ended up with chai. I would definitely recommend this place for having food here with your friends and family.

Theres no need of describing this spot, which is enough fame for the best combo of beef roast and pazham pori. Apart from the combo, we tried porotta, bdf, pepper chicken and appam. To be frank all of them were fresh cooked and tasted good.

Sree Muruga Cafe offers a delightful experience with its flavorful porotta and well-prepared beef roast. The beef's taste was particularly impressive, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. However, the combination of pazhampori with beef didn't quite live up to expectations, leaving some room for improvement. Nonetheless, it remains a recommended dining spot for those craving delicious porotta and flavorful beef dishes. The ambience is also good and quite a nice place for family. Personally I would prefer this place due to the quality of food and affordable rates.

Very good place where we can get a combo of banana fry(pazham pori) and beef fry. We tried chicken 65 as well which was kinda ok. Porota as well was really nice to have along with grevy which they give for free

I accidentally stumbled upon this place when I was in Nucleus Mall next to it. I was in the mall early and the food court wasn’t open, so I looked for a place and found this restaurant. I just wanted to have a tea when I walked in, but I ordered Pazhampori and Beef roast. It was so tender and so tasty, along with the hot tea it was a good breakfast. I am planning to visit here to have a taste of other dishes.

I have been a fan and a regular customer. Whenever we pass/drive by, the vehicle invariably stops there. As always I did a take away yesterday (24/11/21) morning. We have been a huge fan of the beef curry and idiyappams. However sorry to say that the beef curry tasted funny this time around.... and what follows... well I needn't say. Am down with a stomach upset and sorely disappointed by the drop in the "standard of food" that was served. Will need to think twice before having your beef curry again.

Good food for a reasonable price. Their combo of banana fritters with well cooked beef curry is simply mouthwatering. Ambience is not the best, but good food is guaranteed.

Sree Muruga cafe at poonithura has been famous for its signature delicacy, the pazhampori and beef. We went there for lunch. We had meals, fish fry and chicken biryani. The chicken was tender and juicy. Fish fry was crispy and spicy. Cococola was the only drink available. Hence four stars.

This cafe is so famous for it's out of the box combination of "pazhampori(banana fritters) and beef". You're probably reading this review to have that as well. I've been to sree muruga thrice and all these times I had pazhampori and beef. The plate costs 136(100 for beef roast and 12*3 for pazhampori) it's served with chopped onions. Pazhampori is made with ripe bananas which makes them really delicious. You don't always get pazhampori made of ripe banana from local shops. The beef is in good quantity, really well cooked and hot. The meat is really tender. The shop has developed well ober the years and has about 100 seating capacity. Parking is a little tight and the service is good. 9/10 would recommend. I had it today (10/04/22) and it's still great.

I think the place is too much hyped by you tubers and social media for thier famous beef curry and banana boli. Beef curry tastes good. But the combinations didn't taste great for me. Cost also a bit high. Got limited parking space. Restroom, dine space and wash area and all are clean

Ordered idiyappam and green peas curry through swiggy. The green peas curry received was stale. It was reheated to hide the staleness and was received in a semi gravy format. Surprised!! If they didn't have the curry, they could have just cancelled the order, rather than serving stale curry!!!
