Calm and peaceful place to visit with family. The river view is wonderful. Since no waiting sheds are there it is preferable to visit the place when the atmosphere is cooler. Ample space for seating is present with some trees and plants. More greenery can make the place more beautiful. Comparitively cleaner but No wastebins are kept for waste collection and people used to throw away the used plastics which is a shameful act.

Overlooking the Konthuruthy Lake and the Nettoor Bridge this spot is lovely for both Sunrise as well as Sunset. During the monsoons watch the verdant water hyacinths floating parade. It's also a great place for birders to watch Darter Snake Birds fishing or sunbathing along with several of their avian brethren. And if you're really lucky, an Otter might just pop out to say 'hello!'

Very relaxing place. There’s no shed so it’s best to go when there isn’t much sunlight.

By evening will get good scenery

What I liked the best about this spot is that it's at the fag end of the strip of land that it belongs in, so is devoid of any noisy traffic in the background. There's ample parking space, an absolute must when you open up a public spot like this, and there's no tea-stalls or food vendors in the immediate vicinity just yet. Just a quiet, calm spot overlooking the Kundannoor-Thevara bridge to be at & peace out early mornings or in the evenings!

The view from here is just amazing. You can find all sorts of people coming here during the evening to take a stroll and enjoy the nature at its best.
