Best children park in Ernakulam. Free entry for kids under 10 . For adults 20 RS. Fee is there for kids also , rides like battery Jeep, boating, cycle ride, kids Train service. Neatly maintained . Lots of space, will never feel the rush. Parking for 4 wheeler should be fine out near to Subash park , not available infront of children's park. Few cool bar is inside. Free drinking water, toilet facility available. Refer photos for rides. Number of slides, zeezo and other rides felt limited in number comparing to size of park, still good enough. Skating training facility available.

Excellent place to hangout with kids

Nice place for kids within the age group of 5-12years. They have toy rides along with multiple options for kids to have some fun. The entry fee is also not much,even if you don't wanna avail any other service you can have some good time with your family in the park as they have places to sit and enjoy the scenic view it provides of the marine drive. They also have boat rides. Eating options along with cold drinks, suger-cane drink and also ice-creams are available. Good thing they also have a baby feeding room, so all the mother's out there need not to worry. In short good place to have some good times.

We visited the park on a public holiday. The park was crowded. They charge Rs. 20 as an entry fee for ages 12 and above. There isn't a lot many playing equipment but it will keep your kids engaged for 1-1.5 hours. For remote-controlled ride cars, they charge Rs. 20 extra which is pretty minimal. There is a boat-jetty adjacent to the Park and you can pay and park your car.

Good place for kids. The park is filled with charactors in Balarama children fortnightly. A toy train service is provided for fun. Most of the play equipments are maintained better than that in other parks.

The Children's Park also known as Indira Priyadarshini Park is located in the heart of the city. The main attractions of the park are pedal boating pond, coaching classes for roller skating, musical fountain, mini toy train, small vehicles for hire etc. Children can enjoy a ride on the toy train running through the park. There is a play music fountain also where children can dance to the music played while the water splashes on them. Everything is painted in bright yellows and blue colour. There is a recent addition, a renewable Energy park which explains various natural Energy sources and their working to the children. Programmes are conducted to promote children's talents like drawing, painting, music, dance etc in every holiday season. Kids of all ages can keep themselves entertained for hours. Behind the park starts the Marine Drive walkway.

If they are charging for services, do they really need to charge for entry. Parking is a concern. Clean wash rooms available. Holidays are rush. Best alternative is Science park, Kalamassery

Too crowded and no parking space. Maintained neatly but now the cars are replaced with cycles so the traffic park is not as exciting as it used to be when we were kids in the 90s.

The Indira Priyadarshini Park also known as children’s park is an apt place to spend time with your kids. It is situated in the heart of city so it is easily accessible to all. The bright yellow and the blue shades make it look attractive for kids. You have train rides for children all around this park. Musical fountain is another highlight of this place. Children can dance to the music that is being played and enjoy a good splash from the fountain. There is an entrance fee and they have made an effort in educating about traffic rules with their unique design of the park. The renewable energy park shows the kids the different types of energy sources and how they function. They also serve a good platform for the kids to showcase their talents in drawing, dancing, music and more.

As I step foot into the children's park, memories of my childhood come flooding back.This was my playground, my heaven. I remember spending endless hours on the elephant slides and riding on the metal cars. Every visit was incomplete without a train ride around the park. It's been years since I've been here, but the nostalgia hits me hard. Nicely decorated park with plenty of activities & rides for children. There's also some picturesque views of the location on the stairs. The park itself is clean & tidy with lots of space. There's also a ice cream parlour at the near the end, provides a dozen flavours along with some seats.

It's a beautiful park in the heart of Ernakulam city. Small in size and no parking facility. Yet it is the place where my children ( now grown up) and their kids enjoy whatever open space is provided to them. After renovation it's open to public now, but due to COVID fewer kids are turning up.

Charges for boating is really higher they are no concession for kids for boating. Life jackets are not properly kept. Entry fee is reasonable but boating charges are higher . Songs played where really old. Tran was under repairing so was not able to enjoy It's experience. Need up update the park with new rides.

Not much playthings for kids. Only few options available. However the place is neatly maintained. It has changed quite a lot from what it was many years back. The sad part is that the change is rather negative than positive. Earlier, they used to have a lot of vehicles for small kids, (cars, jeeps and scooters) to ride and it was available for kids with a wider age range. Now, there are only very few vehicles and that too for children below 5 years. For children from 5-10 years, they only have bicycles and tricycles. Earlier there was a bigger play area and tracks for vehicles. Now, a large area which used to be toy vehicle track is taken up for the Balarama theme train. The train, is not at all exciting to be exactly honest. My 7 year old kid got into the train expecting it to be fun however didn't find it interesting at all after the ride.

The park is poorly maintained, with many rides either partially or fully broken. The play areas are covered in overgrown grass, and the boating pond is dirty, with unclean and unmaintained boats. The life jackets are in bad condition, and the toy train ride is neglected, with broken coaches. Park equipment is scattered with zero maintenance and cleanliness. Additionally, there are no Google Pay facilities

It was a decent experience and a more fun experience for kids. It is a very large park exclusively for children and with a very large number of play areas and rides.

If you want to go for your children then it's a good place...but you won't get any water or food inside that place. It's almost one or two km area and the funny thing is you won't get water from anywhere. Once again the government shows us the passion and commitment towards the people. Kudos to that. There was only one shop I could find inside there...and I'm suggesting everyone who is seeing this review not to buy anything from there. That guy was rude and selling ice cream to kids. The only best thing was rest rooms and playing area for kids.

They should repair the inner track for the train, as it earlier gave a feeling of a longer train ride for kids. It was well thought and laid out. Definitely miss it. Also in the adjacent free entry Subhash Bose Park, there is a soft floor for every play rides to avoid injuries, but in this park for children, there isn't any.

Good place for hang out with kids. But charging entry fee apart from charging each activity can be reduced. Parking is not available as in subash park. Also boating time can be extended in evening as most people come ins evening time only.

A good park for kids well maintained, on weekdays evening, tea and snacks are unavailable. Pedal boating, Kids Spin car, were also good and economical.

This park can be avoidable for the following reasons: 1) Ticket charge of 20rs/adult at the entrance and again you are charged for small rides like cycle, aeroplane/horse ride. 2) For the train to operate, they were very reluctant saying they needed a minimum of 15 members. The train looks pretty worse that you will think more than twice to board it. 3) Almost all the play area items are broken and dirty. 4) A sugarcane juice cost is Rs.50. Other food rates are also very high. 5) There is a lot of bad smell near the boating area. Also, there is no shady place near boating. So if you are going for a boat ride, be ready to face the heat of the sun.

Indira Priyadarsini Children's Park... From here will get the nice view of Kochi Lake, Bolgaty Island, willington Island, Arabian Sea etc. And very enjoyable children's park in the heart of the city. Now closed for renovation work.

The Indira Priyadarsini Park is commonly called Children's park is located in the heart of the Kochi city. It has got many rides for the children, a boating pond, skating ring, a mini train, cycles etc. It also have well maintained wash rooms. Parking is tad difficult, better pay and park your vehicles on the adjacent boat jetty area or on the marine drive parking area.

May be the first of its kind in Kerala when originally started decades back. The toy vehicles for children need to be maintained well periodically. The train service can be managed better, there is a lot of waiting between trips. Parents accompanying the children should obey the rules, and should not walk through the roads where children ride the toy vehicles. At least if the management supervises these things people will have a better experience.

Good place to visit with Kids. Small train available inside the park, cycle, small pedal jeeps, and also pedal boating available in such small area. This place is easily accessible by bus and our own vehicle. But parking is the main issue since it's is situated near very busy area of Ernakulam city. U can park ur vehicle near Broadway or near DH ground pay and park.
