Travelled over 4000 miles to try out this seafood restaurant, and I must say it was well worth it!! The food was amazing!! If you’re a seafood fan, you will love it! The flavors of the fried fish, the spices and the entire presentation of the food, was exceptional! These lovely ladies are beautiful souls and wish them the best of luck in all of their future endeavors!

This is one of the best restaurants in Cochin for pescatarians. Located on the side of a busy highway, this restaurant attracts many sea food lovers. The dining area is well ventilated with open sides which surely minimises the fishy smell! They offer a wide choice of fish fries and curries along with a traditional vegetarian lunch served on palm leaves. All the dishes we ordered were excellent in taste. As the place gets very busy by lunch time, it is advisable to go early to get seats.

Excellent place for seafood lovers. Fish is fresh and as per the owner they source it daily from the local market. We had Neymeen and Avoli fry and both the dishes were super tasty. Meals are priced slightly on a higher side when compared to the counterparts. The place is neatly maintained. 10/10 for cleanliness. One more remarkable feature about this restaurant is that it’s owned and run by two ladies ; kudos to women power! Parking space is there and if going on weekends then make sure u reach early because this place really gets crowded!

Couldn't figure out why we did not find it so great as commented by many! Fresh seafood varieties were many but lacked the real taste of Keralite cuisine. Possibly because we tried the lunch bit early by 12 noon and the items (Curries) were just getting ready by then! Portions were a bit less comparing the price tag. Reserving my 2 stars for a better time!

A very good place for seafood lovers. We went on a public holiday so it was really crowded. We had to wait around 30 mins for a table for 2. But the service was fast. We had meals which is a combination of red rice, fish curry/sambhar/sambharam, one type of thoran, prawns chammanthi kind of dish, a sweet pickle like curry and moru kootan. Everything was tasty. Additionally we bought prawns roast and avoli fry. Both were tasty and the quantity of prawns was goid enough.

One of the best restaurant in kochi for sea foods. Staffs are good. Price is slightly high for fish items but we will get fresh items. Main problem is parking space, adequate parking space is not available at peak times. We need to wait for seats during peak hours. Overall neat and clean. Nice staffs.

I had wanted to visit this restaurant for some time now. My parents and my wife had visited a few times in the past which drove up my anticipation even more. We eventually went for lunch today. We had to wait for about 10 minutes before getting a table. They only serve meals and seafood. We had fried clams, red snapper and squid. The food tasted excellent. I especially liked the fish and clams. The price isn't cheap but it's not too expensive either. The service was pretty good. The food was served pretty quickly. Overall, we had a very good experience.

After hearing a lot of positive reviews, we decided to visit this place. We thought it will be very crowded and we will have to fight to find a seat but the seating was well organised and we were able to find a seat quiet fast. Coming to the food, it was ok. Nothing wow. We ordered the regular meals with neymeen fry and prawns roast. Neymeen didn't taste fresh and prawns masala was nothing extraordinary. Maybe we expected a lot, and it didn't live upto the hype. We definitely have had better fish meals from smaller establishments. A big appreciation for the chechis who are always smiling and serving food.

We reached Karthiyayini on a Saturday afternoon for lunch around 1.30, we however thought the place will be rushed but we had a peaceful ambience to eat and there was no rush. We ordered the meals and specials and everything was on point and fresh. Overall it’s a great place and cent percentage recommended.

Excellent meals, we ordered the prawn roast and kandari neyimeen. Both were very spicy and fresh. The food was hot and the service was prompt. Expect a wait time of about 15 mins to be seated( that’s for a Tuesday) The location is right on the highway and easy access to the restaurant. Parking for no more than 10 cars so we had to park on the other side of the road because the entire stretch is a no parking zone. Meals were priced at 100 , Prawns at 270 and the seer fish at a whopping 700 but that makes up for the size of the piece they serve. Overall a highly recommended place but expect very spicy food.

Best sea food, non vegetarian restaurant in kochi. The restaurant is run by very experienced people and they have the passion to serve food. The service is exceptional and very prompt. Very nice taste and healthy food. The atmosphere is very tidy, family supportive and kids friendly. A lot of movie stars and celebrities come here to enjoy the food. Good parking facilities available and best security support.

Sea food delight! All items in the meal were delicious! Had a ten-minute wait time but the food and service that followed made me forget about that pretty quickly. If you like calamari and fish fry, you should definitely try it here. Had a little trouble with the language but locals seated next to us made everything easier to understand. Get a lime juice to balance out the heat from the lip-smacking spicy food!

The meals here are very affordable and tasty. I had meals and King fish masala. The taste was good. The meals are available for just 90 Rs. The king fish was a Big slice and the rate goes by the weight. Would recommend you to ask / tell customers on the size of the fish slice before you take the order l.

This place is just about the food. Forget about ambiance or élégance. The food is cheap, spicy, tasty, and delivered quickly. We went on a Saturday and would recommend getting there before noon to avoid waiting. Some of the dishes have gluten. So check with the waiter before you order (ask if there is "Maida" which is refined wheat flour or if there is wheat flour in the dish) if you have a problem with gluten.

Please note Monday is off. It was my first visit here and was blown away by their fish fry. The meal was extra tasty and delicious. We tried vedikettu fry, karimeen roast, kalaanji curry, avoli curry all are very fresh and tasty. We went on a Saturday afternoon had a waiting time of 30 minutes it was a huge rush on that day. I couldn't find any negative except the expensive bill. It is a must try spot if you are seafood lover. Enjoyed the food a lot.

Its an upscale restaurant serving seafood varieties and traditional kerala meals. The prices are on higher side and the service and food was okay. I sea food delicacy’s portion size is good and the marination is also excellent. Usually on weekends there will be a queue, and parking also will be an issue.

Food served is fresh and tasty. They only serve seafood and meals. The rate of fish items is a little high but not overpriced. The queue system is maintained in a proper way. Good one! One thing i noted is their sarbath quantity is too much. They could have made it half quantity and priced it less. Now it is 50 for one glass. Make it to 200ml and price it 25 or 30rs. Its a small crowded place.. The rest is luck.... 😊Expected,super tastey 'fish dish', but was disappointed. They may have one or two special dishes. Find if it fits your seafood palate... Parking on the exit road of NH and the rough gate keeper are not my choice.....

Must visit place for sea food lovers!! Kozhuva fry (anchovy) was simply amazing .. nice n crispy fried in coconut oil!! Neymeen pollichathu(seer fish ) was tasty as well .. meals served here are pretty decent .. the fish curry served with rice was tangy and tasty!! The person who was serving the food had a pleasant smile on her face which made this experience even more wonderful !! Do expect a little bit of waiting time here , as it does get crowded. There is ample car parking facility here but it get filled up rather quickly.

This is a nice place at kochi for lunch with seafood specials. It would be best to call there in advance before going because it will be very crowded when you reach there and you might have to wait there for nearly an hour to get a seat. Once you get your seat you quickly get the items you ordered. Never miss their seafood specials like Karimeen, Tiger Prawns, Squid, Kaalanji etc. Dont miss their naruneendi sarbath after the lunch to cool you down. Its a bit pricy but it's worthy.

This is one of the best sea food restaurants you can find in Ernakulam. The food here is really nice. Make sure you be there on time for meals. It is quite a busy restaurant. The only problem is that there is no enough parking space.
