Nice trip on Cochin backwaters. The people were nice and the boatman was good at pointing out trees and birds.. A nice experience which did not get boring. The boat was comfortable enough. I put 4* because the price at 4000rs. was somewhat high for the officially 1h30min cruise ( they allowed some more time).

Very pricey. In fact go for Shikara in Alleppey Backwaters. They charged 1000/- per hour for one full Shikara non shared. And here they charged 3000/- for one hour.

Awesome place for site seeing and boating. A quiet place out of the city rush. My crew really enjoyed the boating and the services provided by the team. I would really love to visit then again.

Blue marine cruises. They have a small Fibre glass boat for 2500/- and a medium sized houseboat like boat for 4500 . The one hour ride is best enjoyed when there is high tide and the skipper will take you around the island. Though it may be a bit expensive but a one time experience is worth it. Mangrove forest at the side of periyar river, we can just see close if we tell the skipper , some pockets have small crabs running around. It's fun to watch there. Overall was a good experience. Better go way before noon when it's usually crowded or in the evening time when there is high tide and you can enjoy more of the River.

We felt it wasn't as good an experience, especially considering the price. Not really sure if people really enjoy this. It was a new experience for us so we kinda enjoyed. But it was pricey for the experience it provides

Great service was provided the staff was sooo kind and helpful. The trip was well explained and the boat handler was also very kind in showing us the attraction. Must visit if you want to experience a great backwater experience.
