The after effect of the great flood that affected Kerala in 2018. it was earlier a small water passage area but after the flood it has transformed into a small river. Now many native people come here to enjoy the sceneries and spend free time. most suitable place for hangouts with your friends and family. however it lacks parking facilities and the nearby people charge safety amount for parking vehicles. Ot also lacks shops and other places to buy necessary things. Recommended transportation method is bikes and other two-wheelers..

Nature at its best. An amazing place where you can play in the Chalakudy river. Take care as the river is pretty deep and can be dangerous, I know of some kids who ventured into the river and drowned.
