Hello Everyone, Please take time to read my very pitty experience with this restaurant 'KAAPI KOOTTAM'. I am not a person who writes review on Google. But I think I should write this because it may help someone who are going to place an order with this restaurant. I have ordered a combo which includes chicken curry and Porotta through zomato on 9th of Feb 2022 evening. The order was delivered on time. But still the food that I received wasn't hot. It seems like it has been prepared early morning. The chicken curry was ruined and not even edible. I have reported this in zomato and they didn't take the responsibility since this issue was from restaurant. Hence I made a call with the restaurant and the lady who took the phone guaranteed for refund. But till now after making 2 - 3 calls with them I didn't received a refund as they confirmed. I have to say that they are cheating customers by breaking the promises and delivering bad food. Guys please don't make any order from them. It will take your money and health. Thanks everyone who had the mind to read this. NB: Finally after several calls I received the refund after one month.

I have been ordering food from this restaurant for the last two years, and always got full satisfaction. The quantity, quality and packing are really good . Through offers in Zomato and Swiggy, the rates are also unbelievably low. Thank you very much. Recently they have introduced a few more chicken dishes which is indeed a good move towards customer preference.

Good food.. ordered via Swiggy Just right biriyani.. not too oily or heavy Noodles was ok, not as good as I hoped

Ordered few of their snacks (Pazhampori, poricha pathiri, neyyappam, ullivada and samosa) via Swiggy and they tasted sooo good. The only dislike I had was towards ullivada, not because of the taste but due to oil. Hope they will take care of it in future. Packaging was superb.

Finally a place in the Chailand of Kozhikode to have good old filter kaapi 👌 The Rava Kesari was too tempting to miss out on 😁

Ok ok food with bad service. Rude owner who simply shout to cover up his mistakes when we had an issue about measurement. Looks like they have kappikoottam standard measurement scale which nobody should question.

Ordered Chicken biriyani today the worst biriyani I hve ever had!!It tasted like the biriyani was spoiled.. total waste of money!!!They are cheating people.

We have been ordering food and snacks from Kaapi kootam during the pandemic when on dine-in was restricted. All the items ordered were very tasty and priced reasonably. A must try item is Kesari and Pazham pori. Great packaging as well

Though the place started out as a vegetarian restaurant, they have started serving non vegetarian meals in the afternoon now. The breakfast items remain good but due to the high popularity of this place in initial days, the quality of lunch has suffered and is quite the normal fare you would expect to see in a Kerala Veg restaurant. As a big city, Calicut could do with more quality veg restaurants as the existing ones fail to meet the standards of an ordinary veg restaurant in neighbouring states.

Last night got a food infection. Not at all recommendable, especially their biriyani. Terrible.

We had the worst customer service experience at Kapikootam outlet near pottamal. The staffs were shouting at an elderly customer and on mentioning it to them that it's not right they did harass us too.

Excellent biriyani though sometimes I feel salt is bit too much. Otherwise its one of the biriyani which maintains 'consistency'. Bang for buck if you buy it through Zomato. Recently they have increased the price still it is better than most of the restaurants who charge more for their food. Their Ghee roast +iddly+kesari +vada combo also a must try, provided you order it in between 8-9 am. Keep giving offers in Zomato. 👍

Found a worm inside the curry that we received, this is so disgusting and shows the carelessness of the restaurant. Never gonna order again from here. so ridiculous!

I have been using this food delivery outlet ( not a full fledged restaurant) through Zomato and Swiggy for the last two years now. The quality of food is excellent and the packing and other services are in par with any standard restaurant in the city. They are always following the instructions given by the customer in the food order and in case of any issue, they always bother to contact the customer directly to resolve the same. Now they have started their second outlet in Pottammal which is a definite sign that they are indeed growing. The main reason for their growth is the service standard they are maintaining , despite limited resources and facilities. Good luck to them

I ordered vadas and they were horribly salty unlike the earlier vadas we got from here.We had to throw it away.

People who has the mindset of day light robbery... 99/- for fish fry meals and the point is it's a quarter piece of a fish.there are plenty of options in this city where you get a full fish and adequate meals with curry for this rate. Ordered 2 fish fry meals and received curry set for 1 person. When called and enquired, the arrogant lady who picked the call is saying if you want 2 Currey sets then people has to order seperately. That means me and wife has to call from 2 different numbers and order seperately 😅😅😅. These people are least bothered about customer satisfaction. Taste also very poor and sub standard.

Nice dosa and strong coffee. Polite staff. Enjoyed the breakfast.
