The staff here at Lake Argyle could've have been more accommodating towards my partner and I when we broke down on site. The place itself is absolutley gorgeous, the views from the infinity pool are breathtaking and the food was incredible! Overall fantastic place to stay and lovely people.

We had an amazing time in the Lake Argyle area. The park has an amazing infinity pool that we used during the hot days. The pools situation views right across Lake Argyle Dam and beyond. Stunning!! The caravan park is nice and shady to deal with the heat and note that the workers are out there making the park as cool as it can with their lovely sprinklers. Facilities are all very clean. Thank you Discovery - Lake Argyle. Chewers Caseyand Jill from Victoria

A beautiful park set approx 30 metres above Lake Argyle with fantastic views of the lake and its islands from some cabins and the infinity pool. Being Spring time, it's now very hot, and the pool itself doesn't have any shade, but there is a shade sail on some grassed area. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the park is dog friendly. The only negative was that the restaurant was very expensive and the musician that played this week was far too loud for the number of people there. Whilst he was playing, my husband and I could not have a conversation as it was too loud. Definitely a perfect spot to stay in the cooler time of year. The sunsets are magnificent.

I strongly encourage others travelling in this beautiful area to take the time to visit Lake Argyle. The caravan park has a relaxing vibe, the staff were lovely and the accommodation was very comfortable - large sites and clean amenities. The view to the lake was stunning, the infinity pool was beautiful (very popular) and there's also complimentary evening entertainment at the tavern. The lake cruise is an absolute must do - we did the lunchtime cruise and it is one of the highlights of our travels. The scenery was breathtaking, the crew were terrific, the commentary was informative and the lunch was delicious! Highly recommend this stop and activity to other travellers.

Great location. Inifinity pool was great with a great view. Sunset cruise was good. The only downside was the smelly noisy bats in the trees at night. They also make a huge mess of your caravan, annexe etc. You need to clean every morning to avoid green poo stains.

Manager refused to allow me to pay for a powered site to charge my car overnight, something which the old managers allowed for years. While I managed to make alternative arrangements, I could have ended up stranded otherwise because of ignorance and stupidity. This site is powered from a giant hydroelectric dam and, particularly in low season, has ample excess power.

Location is beautiful with loads of bird life and lakeargyle cruise (not caravan park company) was great. Skipper was funny and knowledgable. Sites are not marked so a bit tricky to figure out which site is which. Gross sewerage smell around reception area. Flat vibe coming from the staff. Food and beverage options limited. Restaurant does not do breakfast, so don’t count on it. Nice pool to swim in. Surrounds are wonderful but the park seems like they are unfortunately cutting corners.
