좋겠다 대구는 많은 한국 근대화가들의 고향이라서.. 이쾌대 이인성!!!!!! If you wanna know korean artists/painters in 50s and after, should visit. Daegu is the homeland of manynof modern artists. Especially two big artists: Lee Insung and Lee Qoede. Lots of their works are here and influencing/influenced works as well.

Even with COVID-19 precautions in place (e.g., only 50 people every 2 hours), it's still a lovely place to visit. Information about the exhibits was available in Korean and English, which I greatly appreciated.

I loved it, not everything was open to the public when I went but the way the exposition was displayed was amazing, I knew I had to go and though it took me almost an hour and half with public transport (some 15 minutes) delay because of a mistake it was worth it, totally recommend

You must visit the museum! This is an the most overlooked and under appreciated place in Daegu. It's a little hard to get to so that might discourage visitors a bit. But there are buses available. And there's ample parking. And it's location is worth it as it puts it in a part of town with lots of greenery and a lovely view. It's nice and quiet. There's a lack of shade so it gets hot in the summer but when the weather is good your could have a nice day just walking around the grounds. And it's cheap! Only 1000 won to enter. The museum itself has 4 main galleries on the first and second floors. The first floor has a large open hall where much larger pieces are housed. The other galleries have a constant rotation of styles from various artists both modern and classical. On my recent visit the first floor featured a variety of Pop art from Korean artists. It was fun and interesting. The second floor was a series of art about Korean national character made by the late Korean Park Sang Gwan. It was lovely.

The entrance fee is very cheap. These days here is so improved. Nice to walk around.

Highly recommended place to visit in Daegu city. Very elegant selection of artwork and its display is wonderful.
