1000 years old and anybody visiting or performing seva’s or meditation to lord Kamandala Ganapathi will get all their desires fulfilled. famous for its ‘Kamandala Tirtha’ which is a mysterious, & constantly flowing water . Lord Ganesha in the temple is sitting in a position called ‘Sukhasana’. With one hand holding ‘Modaka’ and the other hand depicting ‘Abhayahasta’. When mother Parvathi came here to offer her prayers , Lord Brahma also comes down and blesses by sprinkling holy water from his sacred ‘Kamandala’(holy pot). This holy water emerged as the divine Brahmi river which we see in front of Ganesha idol. Since it is created by Lord Brahma, it is called Brahmi river. It sprinkles from Lord Brahma’s Kamandala and as it emerges and flows to a pond in the shape of Kamandala, it is named as Kamandala Teertha. Here, water keeps flowing continually as the holy water in front of Lord Ganapathi throughout the year, ceaselessly which is a real mystery.

This temple is situated in a calm, serene and lush green area near koppa. The temple is source of rivulet Brahmi, which further merges with river Tunga. The temple and the lord Shri Ganesha is facing West direction here.

It is the best place to visit. Here, water comes from the bottom of the earth, and it's been coming 24 hrs a day, and the whole year, it's a mystery. Story tells that ma parvathi took a bath here. I would recommend visiting this place.......

Very calm and beautiful temple in the midst of nature. There is a kamandala in front of Ganapati idol which is believed as the of 'Brahmi River'. Throughout the year the water will be available in this kamandala and the same water is used for Ganapati pooja. From the kamandala in temple the water is made to fall in the opposite tank where people can take bath. From Thirthahalli it is around 31 KMs. Better to go by private vehicles as bus timings are not certain. Cars will go upto to temple else, one has to walk around 600 meters from the main road to reach the temple. The archaka's house is close to temple. The timings of the temple is from 7-30am to 12-30pm everyday. If you are near Thirthahalli or Kesave, it is a must visit temple.
