One of the most powerful deity located 5km from venkatapuram and nasankota.. Road Transport is the best way to reach there .. Usually crowded and i visited on sunday ... Premises of the temple are maintained reasonably good .. Chance for development is there.. Water facility is less .. With dining area in small rooms with washroom facility .. Clanliness is yet to be improved .

The temple is very well-known pilgrimage place in anantapur district. The deity is Goddess Durga. According to popular belief, if a devotee prays for their heartfelt desire, the goddess will grant it. The devotee will then offer two numbers of an animal (chicken or goat) to the goddess as a religious sacrifice. As it is an auspicious day for offerings, the temple is overcrowded on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. The temple will close at 6 p.m., and everyone, including priests, locals, and shop owners, will leave the temple grounds. The belief is that the goddess Durga Mata will walk out at night and drink the bloodbath in the animals offered path, and the passage will appear clean and tidy the next day. The deity is so powerful and divine.
