Friendly staff welcomed us on arival. We camped for one night on our way to Upington. Campsite is clean and the ablution facilities were clean and well maintained. Warm water and power available with a generator that will run on certain hours of the day depending on loadshedding schedule. Restaurant available. Swimming pool that was recently upgraded and painted. Dont forget to check out the 2 lama's thats walking the area. We will for sure visit again.

What an amazing camp site. So sad we just did an over night but it was absolutely amazing

We spent the night at Redsands on Tuesday evening 19 April 2023 at stand 205. Second visit. Staff at reception and restaurant very kind and provided excellent service. Only negative was the shower tap settings at 205 which ony allowed for very hot water or very cold water.

A truly fantastic camping site. Private braai and washing-up area is a nice touch, and for a few extra rands you can have private ablutions. The communal a lution facilities is immaculate. The restaurant is not only superb but also surprisingly well-priced. We will definitely stop over on our return journey.

We have thoroughly loved our stay here. The bathroom is clean and modern, the campsites are spacious with individual braais and sinks. We haven't yet tried the restaurant but it looked well priced and the braai night they had when we arrived smelled incredible.

On your way North - do stop at this fabulous lodge outside Kuruman - Red Sands Country Lodge!!! Stayed in a self-catering chalet for 2 nights ...chalet is open-plan and spacious. Air-conditioner on wall above the bed (although we couldn't use it during the night - it made quite a noise.) Big comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen with normal sized fridge/freezer and a lovely big undercover patio with built-in braai!!!!! The Alpacas graze on the lawn and we saw some small buck too, as well as a 'springhaas' (spring hare??) close to the chalet. Restaurant is big and chalet-price includes a buffet breakfast. Lovely choices - even Venison stew. Small pool - perfect to get Vitality points. Huybby placed an apple in the tree next to our chalet and in no time, birds were happily munching on them. This little one claimed the apple with its claw while eating. Walking and run trails clearly marked. The camping area has a few chosen spots with your own little ablution block. Will stay there again!!!

Lovely resort and well run with very friendly staff. The restaurant was also great. My wife loved the welcoming drink. Ablution block was spotless and a pleasure to use. Nice to security cameras all around making you feel very safe.

Great stay over. Peaceful tranquil settings. Neat and tidy chalet and braai facilities. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service, great value restaurant great

We arrived very late and the check-in process was quick and easy. The rondawel was perfectly clean, with white bedding and towels. Slept warm in comfortable beds with good pillows.

What a lovely place. Friendly, helpful staff. Awesome home cooked meals. Clean, neat and tidy. I highly recommend this lodge. Self-catering, cottages, camping, restaurant. Great experience. 👍

We stopped over on our way to Kakams and it was an amazing experience. The camping area was well looked after and the ablutions were clean and well equipped. The restaurant is amazing. It is truly a gem. We will be back soon.

Nice place. Had a pleasant overnight on our way to the Kgalagadi. Restaurant food was good. Very friendly staff. Had a good cool down in their pool. Springbok and other “bok” made for some good entertainment in the camp.

We had our own ablution whic made the experience so much better. The swimming pool was great and fenced off well.
