If you happen to go past Narammala, please make a stop at Cafe Amakie because this would be an ideal place for a decent meal or a coffee on the way. Love the coffee here. A proper coffee shop with skilled staff that knows their craft! Full marks for the presentation as well. This café is located far away from Colombo and mostly serves locals, and yet they maintain such high standards. So, nothing less than 5/5 from me. Will definitely be visiting for more coffee soon!

Excellent lunch in this little coffee shop on our way to Dambullah. I had the club sandwich which was really good (even better than some I had back in Europe). My partner had the dish of the day which was as well a délice. It wasn’t too spicy which is appreciated for our European palate lol. They have a plenty of different type of tea and they also served coffee and fresh juice ! The staff is super friendly and I highly recommend you to stop there either for lunch or for a tea break.

Brilliant place to stop for a tea or coffee with a decent range of snacks. They had all items in the menu. Breakfast, lunch and dinner also available. We had Masala chai and it was superb. Place is neatly arranged, spacious and clean. Washroom are clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and ready to flexible to serve us with customizations.

It was such a nice place. No other place like that in this area. I had an all-day breakfast. It was really good. The place was clean and it had a good atmosphere. Overall experience was great and can recommend.

Lovely place. We dropped by there by chance and it was a wonderful experience. Even though it's named as a cafe, it has a range of items to choose from, from rice to wraps. Their blueberry cheesecake too was tastier than many I've tasted before. If you are on the way to Kurunegala , it's a place to stop, relax and savour the yummy array of food n coffee.

At the suggestion of a few friends, I entered the place to have a cup of coffee. The hospitality of the working people amazed me. I finally got a chance to taste the amazing cup of coffee. Best place to refresh yourself. Everything is perfect. They only play cafe Jazz there. Had some club sandwiches and they are perfect. Even cafes in Colombo struggle to make those up to the taste. Customer service is beyond excellent. Definitely going to have something again from here soon.

This place is spotless. They have a friendly staff with excellent service. However, I would not recommend this place because we don’t get what we pay for. The food is not bad, and I understand it costs money to run a business like that, but the food is not worth what they charge.

Frappe was iconic, Hot choco was also delicious. We ordered snacks too, which was so filling. Altogether it was a friendly and a very hygienic place to dine in...worthy of a 5 star review👌

Best coffee that is sourced from matale. Place is clean and the staff is very professional.. Price is reasonable. If you visit for breakfast do not forget to order their prawns curry served with bread toasts and coconut sambol. Delicious!!! I would recommend their flat white coffee as well.

Prices have gone up almost double. Comparable to Colombo cafe prices. But service and the quality remains good.

Best place to quench your thirst on the way to Kurunagala via Giriulla from Colombo. Place is well maintained and the staff is attentive. Both bakery items and main meals are available. Food is freshly prepared, delicious and served fast. Good place for coffee lovers. Prices are little above average, but definitely worth for the value. Both indoor and outdoor dining possible. They have taken necessary precautions to prevent COVID-19.
