It's a supermarket primarily aimed for food and beverage. You can buy almost any local and most international food item here except instant made foods. There's parking space underneath the building. Packed and canned foods, raw vegetables and fruits, dairy products, raw fish meat products and all other supermarket food products are available here. Special discounts are offered time to time. You can get a loyalty membership card to get discounts. Pharmaceutical products are also available in a seperate pharmacy within the supermarket. If you are a food lover, you won't regret visiting a Cargills Food City.

They just do not much care about the customer satisfaction. I bought 2 items looks same but different prices, the lady on the cashier just scan 1 item and multiplied by 2 in the billing matching. I asked her can you check the price of both, she said both are same price and gave me the bill. bill printed 50 rupees higher than actual price, Then I took those 2 items and show her the price difference. , then she said like 'I thought both are same price' and she gave another bill. 1. She didn't apologize for the mistake 2. As a cashier of a famous super market in Sri Lanka, I am not expecting this kind of mistakes.

A supermarket which has a wider selection of items, which will suite you the best. The aisles are arranged in an orderly manner to suite your needs. Expect good customer service and relatively fast checkout. The chain is highly Recon for your needes. A pharmacy is also available here!

Very friendly staff. However, they don't have a backup plan in a power cut. Simply they close the entrance until the power comes...
