He was not friendly although we were the only guests. - Dirty room! - Loads of mosquitos inside! - No one asked us if we'd like breakfast or anything. No problem since we had our own bike to go into town. But then don't mention that food's available...

Had a very unpleasant experience. Cabanas are very unclean, full of dirt and insects. Not worth the money. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

reserve cabana for overnight stay . However 100s of mosquito in side when entered the place . Only solution provide by the caretaker was fast kill spray . Its non of our business to kill them and had to leave . Location is very nice but have no idea why management didnt take the value . Can not recommend

A nice, quiet hotel in a good location although slightly out of Kurunegala city. Friendly staff who were very prompt in responding to any requests. Room was clean and everything worked well.

Worst ever. Don't go there. Situated in a beautiful place. But very poor management. They don't even clean the rooms. Water heater, and the glasses were not cleaned. Also there was a frog in the toilet. A/C was broken and water drops were fallen all over the A/C area. With all these facts if you ever feel like going there, please don't order foods from them. You can buy foods from outside. Worst foods they have. We ordered fried rice and that was the worst fried rice I've ever had. More MSG and Soup cubes there than the rice. And they charge us service charge for foods of 10% for the entire bill of the hotel. Not for the meals itself. There aren't much places there in Kuliyapitiya to spend a night, but make sure to avoid these places.

If you feel staying here, it will be one of your worst nightmare. Never go there. Their management is totally disgusting. They ask money to meals of even your 2 year old kids. Frankly, they try to steal your pocket in everyway. Although the nature is looking good, managing staff kill your happiness.

Nice place but very badly maintained

The management of the hotel is the last person who does the services and the person who does the main management tells the numbers as they feel like. So sorry for the owner. But people who come here go back. No cleanliness is maintained in the bathrooms here. The rooms have just been swept and dusted. Had a rice without a single piece of chicken, just lots of bones. I bought a bottle of water for 200 rupees, atleast without giving a bottle of water to the room ..400 for teas . Room 5500/= rice 1250/= water bottle 200/= 2 cup of tea 400/= + 7350/= 10% service charges 735/= Total 8085/= Either the owner makes a decision to change the management or else it has to be closed

Good place to stay if you need to spend a day or two in Kurunegala. Tasty food and reasonable rates.

This is a true hidden gem for any nature lovers! Having seen the reviews, we were hesitant to book this but glad we took the risk! We originally planned to stay in a room but having seen the cabanas, we opted for one (cabanas are the rooms you see online and for a bit of extra, you will get a far better deal). The owner Mr. Fernando, could not have been more hospitable and the staff were so friendly and happy to accommodate all our requests. We also encountered many animal species (little frogs, stokes, parrots) whilst swimming in the pool and they certainly added to the charm of this place. Despite the reviews, we then decided to have dinner at the hotel and we are glad of that decision too! Such generous portions and tasty too. I am sorry for those who had a bad experience but then, when people book hotels the expectations should be reasonable and realistic! If you are looking for a 5 star, city break this certainly will not meet your expectations! However, if you are a nature lover, happy to share some of the space with nature, you might want to visit here.

Worst hotel which i stayed in my entire life. Management was unpleasant, rooms, bathroom even the pool was not cleaned, finally all the money in my vault were stolen while it hanging in the room and when i complained about it they said that protecting my money is my own business, there were no any CCTV cover within the Permises. However the food was good and sufficient. Therefore i do not recommend this for a safe and joyfully stay.
