Nice, calm and antient buddhist temple in Kurunegala District. This temple is built on natural rock. Any large vehicle can be entered to the temple and parking space is available. Anyone can have their own meals here after worship and there are public toilets too. Located between, Melsiripura and Ibbagamuwa.

one of the beautiful and largest buddhist temple located near kurunegala dambulla road.It is very crowded during the Pohaya days and is able to fulfill the needs of the pilgrims. You can worship bodiya, buddha mandhira, the pagoda and see apaya built in a tunnel here.

Weird site. Especially the walk through hell… not for sensitive souls. Also a bit disappointed when a young monk was asking for a donation of 10.00 LKR…

You can have a great view if you climb to the top of the rock. This temple have some special features like "අපාය" . It showcases punishment that had early days.
