Very poor customer Service. Rooms are not clean. In the room I found some personal items used by previous customers. Due to my personal commitment I wanted to check out in early morning around 5.30 am but they took 45 minutes to return my ID card. Very bad experience in my side.

Disturbing staff I went there with my girlfriend to spend some time a few days ago. Got an AC room for LKR 2750. The room was OK but I felt a pillow is smelly. The bathroom was OK. Now here’s the thing. I asked whether we can get lunch from them and said “yes, ring the bell if you need anything”. The bell was a regular bell switch on the wall. However, we fell asleep for a couple of hours and woke up hearing someone’s knocking our door. “Sir! Do you need anything for lunch?”. I didn’t wanted to answer him and went back to sleep until I hear him again knocking the door. Then I said yeah I’ll ring the bell. We didn’t wanted go back to sleep and thought to get the lunch before he knocking the door again. However the bell worked and one guy from the staff appeared there immediately. They said we can stay until 4:00PM at first, and it was like 3:00 PM the second time the room service knocking the door. He was there with the bill to give me, but he didn’t want me to pay at the same time but I did. He was just there to hand over the bill. I mean come on it’s common sense that you don’t have to disturb a young couple in a room having their private time. I’ve never experienced a behavior like this from the other rest houses we went to. Otherwise the location is nice. The Lake is like 1 min walk from your room which also has a beautiful view. Also the lunch we had was REALLY GOOD. This is my honest review.

Foods great but this is not family friendly the service is good

All time best restaurant in kurunegala.location is very nice. Can see nice view of kurunegala lake and stones around kurunegala. Food is very tasty and price range is little bit higher than most in the town.but that is fair with foods.. Service is high quality. Cannot say anything about room because i haven't stay there.

Very poor customer service We had an emergency situation which came at night and had to check out by next day early morning. We had to wait for an hour to get our id cards because the person who is in charge couldn’t get up before 6 am. So we waited from 4.55 to 5.45 am and continuously requested him to give our id cards. But he didn’t wake up because he didn’t like the interruptions for his sleep. So that was the very bad experience we faced. In the other hand the quality of the room is not up to the standards. The bedsheets were not changed and found some stains all over the sheets. And the towels were smelly. TV was not working at all. But the washroom was ok but needed to be cleaned. So overall i do not recommend this hotel even it is consisted with a vintage looking and surrounded with the beautiful scenery.

Visited this place a couple of times for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast was really good and we had it in the outside area overlooking the lake. Lunch was also fine Staff was attentive Average prices An old place and inside dining area looks bit rustic and outside is really good.

Can see the specular view of Kurunegala lake. But it seems to be an outdated restaurant.

No Customer Service.. i came take rooms for one night.. last Saturday (27/08/2022) around 7.30pm who was stay that time in office.. very bad person.. don't know to how to speck with gests.. no more care about my request.. i think that time he was drunk something.. can not recommend this for any one.

Ok place to have a drink. Location is fantastic.

Stopped by for lunch as usual. But new rules are appalling. Ordered beer, French fries and an omelette, which was allowed to be shared. Ordered one rice and curry lunch to share. But was refused the extra plate. Had to use the same. Confusing in-house rules, though the lunch was good.

Very bad service , service people are very lazy and they always unfair with the customers ,location is nice but staff and customer service is a disaster, this is the second time i had this experience , i dont want to again and my friend who went with me he also hv the same decession, staff ask for money and cigerates or liquor .and when we are asking the price by calling they say different price but whn u go there they tell high price

Its an "Ok" place to get your lunch or sip a beer, if you don't have any alternative. Nothing special about this place. Just old colonial era rest house vibe. They do have their own bar. Plenty of parking space.

A vintage place that is kept clean and nice. They always keep several rooms on standby to rent for couples on an hourly basis. Gentleman at the reception could be nicer to guests.

Great place in a convenient location with reasonable prices and good quality food. Service is really good.

Place is good. But room condition and facilities should be uplifted. Bed sheets to be changed . Lights to be fixed. Tv is not working (in room we spent two days ago). Informed to the manager too. As a nice location hope the management will pay attention to uplift the condition of rooms and make arrangements to satisfy their customers who pay reasonable money to stay there. If possible to serve a bed tea for occupants who stay a night it will be appreciated. Any way we like the place and wish to stay again there hoping that soon they will uplift conditions and necessities in the rest house. Thank you.

Good place to relax during a long trip. Food is ok. Rice and curry was good and tasty. Price is too high for normal beverages plus they add a service charge on the total bill which sums upto a ridiculous amount. The view is great as the place is next to a lake and surrounded by huge rocks. They can park few buses at the same time.
