A lake with a very beautiful view. Some people use this for a wedding photo shooting location. It is Adviced to not put any litter since we should protect this lake and the natural forest 🌱🌳🌼 along with it. There is an ancient buddhist temple in the forest which you have to walk throgh the road beside the lake. As I know the road is only opened in poya days check it before going there. The roads to reach this location has been repaired recently but drive carefully since it bit like a hill⛰️ side road. Please leave only foot prints during your visits 😊

This is a nice place where climatic changes often occurs and misty and cool in the morning and it was a nice experience. It also has cave printings which are similar to the cave printings of Dambulla Golden Temple and popular among the people as one of the places which is used by King walagamba during his reign to hide himself from enemies.

Its very nice place.you can go one day hike if you are near to kurunegala..its better to start your journey from the morning to take nice snaps.enjoy it and remind not to put plastic bags, shopping bags and foods in the forest.
