It's a great place for those who like to climb mountains. The climb is somewhat difficult and usually takes about 2 hours.Traveling amidst rocks and sometimes falling trees and vines is a blessing.Don't forget to seek the blessings of the Lord of the Temple at the bottom of the journey. You only need a bottle of water for the journey. Those who have traveled in the past have shown the way to go.This is an important and valuable place for environmental lovers...πŸ‘

Brilliant place. Can complete in half a day. But difficult hike. But worth going. There are several routes but take advises from experience person. During coming down we lost the usual road. If it happens don’t panic. However you can reach to main road. But in the main road there are few boards and signs to verify the correct route. By following those signs you can easily reach to the peak

One of the best place to hike in kurunegala area. Not hard to find the foot path because there's plenty of trail marks from the beginning. Climbing the rock is somewhat difficult but depends on your experience. Usually take 2 hours. Very important to carry enough water. There are no water ways or anything. If you are planning spend more time at the top of the mountain beware of dehydration. It's very hot during sunny days dont get overexposed. Have a great journey ✌️

Worth the climb. No exact route to climb when you go deeper inside. Only routes are made due waterways. View at top makes it worth the hard climb. There is a temple at the bottom of the mountain you can park the vehicles. Took like 2 hours for us to climb

Scenic view at the peak. Always follow the signs marked on the rocks and trees as the trail can be missed easily. Not much tired as most of the trail is inside the forest. Moderate hike.
