A 65 acres in extent of archiological site with lot of ruins. Maliyadeva arahath Tero were stayed here. Only sakman maluwa with roof found in Sri Lanka. Calm environment. Lot of to see. Visit with your kids to show our history. As well as lot of stone work there. Unbelievable.

Very peaceful collection of ruins nestled in the jungle. Easy to reach from Dambulla or Kurunegala. Lovely way to spend a few hours.

Lovely calm and peaceful place. It would have been interesting to have seen the monastery in its prime, before the Portuguese. There's still a sens of what it might have been like.
