    You can go for a cup of tea while your journey. There is "Thunhela Rasahala" outlet here as well.

    This marvelous forest area is located on the Kurunegala-Dambulla road.Many people never forget to stay here and take a small break. They can get refreshment by tasting delicious 'Pol Rotti' and plain tea. Many people don't know that there is an area in Badagamuwa forest, that is more beautiful than the part visible from the road, where you can walk freely and enjoy nature.The Badagamuwa forest area covers approximately 4 acres and consists of a lake and great vegetation.

    (Visited on 16 June 2023, reviewed on 19 June 2023) This is a magnificent place located just east of Kurunegala. I really loved the combination of nature and the road between Kurunegala and Dambulla. Definitely worth a stopover (we were travelling from Umandawa to Battaramulla), especially for some roadside corn offered by a friendly guy to us 😋

    An accidentally saw this place on the way to Matale via Kurunegala - Dambulla Road. There was a lovely cafe with local food. This is a secondary forest in Sri Lanka. We did not enter the forest but stopped to grab something from the cafe. There are short eats, string hoppers, fruit juices available for breakfast. The place has a well-maintained washroom.
