This place older than 800 years. So before you visit, it better if you know the history. Still we can see old temple of tooth and the stupa. This place has renovated, but I feel they have killed this place values. It's free of charge to visit. 1 to 2 hours enough for visiting. Behave respectfully as this is a religious place.

Good visit to find historical importance of 3rd kingdom of Sri Lanka. The ancient tooth relic mansion of dambadeniya kingdom is still there in pretty good conditions. Must visit the museum near the temple as well where you can find a good load of information about the history of this place.

An ancient temple with calm and quiet environment. There is also a small Government archeological museum operated by an honest and kind lady officer at the temple ground.
