Most worst reception hall in kurunegala, Experienced on last last week and I was with a wedding reception in the evening. This experience gose with what I have noticed and witnessed upon a discussion had With the function booked people and the property staff including manager. Washrooms - are not cleaned after previous function and mud, durt and cigarette filters are every where, even in the ladies wash room same situation. When I inquire, I got a answer from propery manager and the staff also. they said that they do not have enough staff to attend those and cleaning are doing only once time per day. Enterance - was very untidy and seem like never cleaned. Hall- its was terrible since the carpeted floor isn't cleaned after previous function. And table clothes are not washed properly. Can see fungus in walls Buffet - area have two or three wash basins and those are not cleaned. Ahh I forget some stange thing was happened during the food serving the wash basing drainage line was blocked and flooded the wast water every where.sinc property havent any maintenance staff for ongoing function. the managet had to grab a staff from the bar ( there was only one person at the bar to serving during whole function.) and get fixed. It took more that one hour. And floor was not cleaned properly but the staff. Food - Suddenly the property has change the menu without any discussion and food was terrible. When I asked a glass of water from the staff the answer was they have accomodate only for the number of guest only glass per guest if you need more you have to grab from the buffet are, then I had walk to buffet they was only few used glass and those arent filled the jar was empty. Then I had asked from the cheff for water since he was the only person was there to attend all. Then I had to peep in to the kitchen and grab a water jar which on near by table. Apart from above, I had many more worst experiences during this reception as a gust. Which are not lapses of this property its clearly planed neglects with management's decision. Since when the complications occurred the propperty owener ran away and he isnt answer the telephone line even. The manger know that. But as polite review writer I mentioned few above by standing on poor event owned people. They dont have second change to have this event again since it there marriage. As property manager said to me and as this happned to mentioned function owned people. usually they get pre booking and at the event date before the event suddenly they asks for full payment before the event and they ask this in threatening tone like unless you make the full payment we can not accommodate. Once payment is collected by the property you cannot negotiate any or can not expect good service standards. Then they start to act dictate role and what ever happens event owners have to shout the mouth and wait. This property has not any event covered insurance policy since Its verified from the manager. Since constructions are going on and even basics like any case of food poisoning are not covered through the property. Which is totally unexpected. I do not want to say think twice. Just avoid this property on you next valuable event. There are planty of properties around Kurunegala to host a good event in peacefully and with a value addition to your hard earned mony. Thanks. I wanted to order some foods in advance. Hotel reception gave me the contact of so called "manager ", somebody by the name of Amila. I just wasted lot of time sending mails and calling him several times. never received any firm feedback. utter waste of time !

Even though the location is nice and calm, their staff ruins this place. Specially management is very bad and rude. I reserved a table 2 days before and when I went there, they have given it to someone else. Their reason was we got late 15 mints. First they should be trained to treat customers and know basic hotel management activities.

Went for dinner and bought Indoora special rice. Actually worth price. But there was no option to pay by card. They said machine is broken. Don't know weather is it true. May they not accept card payments. So remember to bring money.

Food here is absolutely terrible....yet the customer service is quite good and a really nice place.....yet...i will not be visiting again

We had couple of small parties there..All went smoothly...The recent one was horrible..After arriving there ordered food by using Alacarte..Suddenly informed that chicken options were unavailable..A menu without chicken is odd...Left the location without wasting time...

We went there for the Lunch on our way back to Colombo. Foods were very good. It was a Sri lankan traditional Lunch dish along with the welcome drink and fruits for the dessert.

Nice place but complete hole in L formation so that is become major minor point Other than that hall is qui small but according to the value it is worth food is above average and recommend this place But if you can spend more then there are much more good places in Kurunegala

Nice location for weddings, get-togethers and other functions. Located in the Kurunegala - Puttalam road. A few kilometers away from the Kurunegala town. The hotel has a lake nearby. Car parking is available.
