The panamamic views surrounding the house are absolutely gorgeous! My wife and I have stayed at places all over the world (36 countries and counting) and this house ranks in our top 5. The room is huge (with a large, modern bathroom), and the house has a stocked game room with pool, ping pong, foosball, and more plus a giant chessboard outside. Highly recommend ordering sri lankan dinner and breakfast (about 1500 LKR per person) from the house chef which was so delicious. The mangos came from a tree in the yard and tasted so good! It may be best to call ahead and let Terrence know what time you are arriving so they can make sure to have the gates open at the end of the road. There is also a helicopter pad in the backyard for anyone coming in on a chopper :) I wish we would have stayed for 2 nights and done the hike next to the house that goes up one of the mountains. Terrence will also set up a private tea factory tour for you, which was fabulous and we bought some delicious tea for only 200 LKR per bag. Overall exceeded our expectations, the house was amazing, the views breathtaking, and the service above and beyond!

An isolated calm place. Great view, good facilities. "No liquor" policy is so helpful for families. Access road is not repaired for ages. Beautiful garden but no lightning at night. So cold at night so few long sleeves will be helpful. We watched lot of stars that are not visible in Colombo skies.

My family stayed at the meezan bungalow From the 21st of Feb 2021 to the 23rd. It was the perfect get away from the busy city life with acres of land which included tea estates and a golf course.  It has a very well maintained flower garden. The house itself  is like a bungalow out of a story book. The food was excellent! Cooked by the professional chef Raju. We were attended to by dinesh whose customer service was exceptionally good. We thank Mr.Akram for the great management of his team which allowed us to enjoy a memorable family holiday.

Ancoombra Tea Estate Bungalow is a great place to be relaxed. we love that place very much because of the beauty of the environment. There was out door games (Golf, Badminton, Basket Ball, Cricket) and indoor games as well (Billiard, Carrom etc...). There is a children playground too. Our compliments to the Manager Akram who coordinated all arrangements in a professional manner and compliments to Chef Shiraz for the delicious foods and service. There is an easy access from Kurunegala > Mallawapitiya > Rideegama > Ancoombra Tea Estate Bungalow Ankumbura (Via Keppetigala Carpeted Road). It was a memorable tour for us.
