👍👍 Kudos to head chef Keir for the most incredible menu! We had the sweetcorn tarts, anchovy, mushroom tarts, octopus, pork jowl croquettes, chicken and hispi cabbage. Everything was delicious and so well executed. One of the best eateries in the Canggu area. People often mention Vera, great,

Popped in for a quick bite without a dinner reservation, and we got two seats at the bar. Ordered the steak tartar and pesto gnocchi, both were super delicious. The cocktails were well made too. The service was attentive, polite, and friendly. The space was well designed in the usual Bali aesthetic. Overall, great spot and looking forward to going again soon!

Class Act. Seriously slick design with food & bev offering to match…. unusually high quality wine list for Bali too…. A new hidden gem, suspect it won’t be long before the secret is out…..

I’m not exactly sure about Bar Vera. Given how much I was looking forward to dining here, i left with not bad, but lukewarm feelings. We ordered the sweet corn tartlet, beef ragu arancini, pig cheek croquettes, prawn and warm polenta, roasted chicken. All the starters were creative and quite an explosion of flavours in the mouth. However, the main dishes that were supposed to be the highlights paled in comparison due to taste and textures. Really did not enjoy the cocktail i ordered too, it tasted like a bad mojito. Service was good, staff was attentive. Design and ambience of the space were on point (especially Further hotel). Not sure about the fan blowing in my face…but overall, it still deserves 4 stars.

Had a group dinner with friends. Total of 6 people. We shared all the food we ordered and everything was so delish. We all loved the tartare, the baramundi, the soufle and the chocolate bite. Ambience was very nice and relaxing. The staffs are very attentive and giving great recommendation on what to order

Everything on the menu is worth to try. We had the octopus, striploin, pommes and cabbage. Simple menus but they elevated on whole new level. The dessert banoffle souffle was theatrical and delicious. Definitely going back to try the pumpkin pie, shrimp and other menus. What a gem in pererenan!

Bar Vera emerges as a shining addition to the culinary scene in Parerenan, Bali. This establishment seamlessly blends Western (Australian-centric) cuisine with an enticing Asian flair, resulting in a menu that offers a delightful fusion of flavors. The culinary offerings at Bar Vera are nothing short of impressive. From impeccable textures to precisely balanced temperatures and flavors, the dishes showcase a commitment to culinary excellence. The specials, in particular, stand out, presenting intriguing options that are undoubtedly worth exploring. While the beverage selection is in ok level, I was surprise when they put corpse reviver cocktail on the menu, but turns out, they can’t make the real one but offers the other options to us. However, it is evident that there is room for improvement in the service department. Staff training, especially in product knowledge, would greatly enhance the overall dining experience. A notable instance was when inquiring about ingredients aged for 12 months, receiving an inaccurate response regarding rice instead of the Comté. In summary, Bar Vera delivers a delightful gastronomic experience with delicious offerings. While the service may benefit from refinement, the overall ambiance is undoubtedly inviting. A visit to Bar Vera promises a culinary journey that will leave patrons savoring the delightful fusion of flavors in a pleasant setting.

The first and best meal this trip. Unassuming dishes that ticked all the boxes. The profiteroles were the most unique and yummy ones I've tried ever. The vibes, spot on. Nice ambience, super good food, very good service. I'd come back.

Amazing place and great food! Service was very lovely and welcoming. Fun little touch to see your name written on the table you reserved, felt VIP🤪. The place is situated next to the street (luckily the street is not that busy) and everything is open, so if the mosquitoes like you wear long pants. The food choice here is not the standard food you expect which makes it a special experience. I really felt like the food was fresh as well, it was very tasty! Everything was beautifully presented and the portions were very nice! If you’re looking for a little switch up from all the Indonesian food, this is a great place to expand your tastebuds!

Pretty nice and cozy open dining experience, amazing atmosphere, but their ceiling fans run pretty windy which might makes you chilled. The food are a great mixture of Asian fusion meets modern gastro. Prawn polenta and the pork jowl are a good choice, but I won’t recommend desserts here just yet. The soufflé is too fluffy and the chocolate mousse is too sweet.

Me and my boyfriend absolutely loved Bar Vera! For us it is amongst the best restaurants in the Canggu area ( Bar Vera is located in Pererenan). Every dish was executed beautifully and tasted great! They also serve a verity of exciting cocktails, which we loved. We had the please to meet and be served by Yogi, a young charismatic balinese man with a lot of passion for hospitality! We want to thank Yogi for his amazing service and for making the experience unforgettable!
