Basil's Kitchen Thank you to the staff here because I will not be coming back. Took a chance because it looks like this has cool vibes and walked from potatoe head to Basil's Kitchen. Was not worth the walk. If you live close and don't mind indifferent staff and average food then this may be for you. The staff were not welcoming, the order was taken incorrectly and we fixed that before it came out. The size is less than elsewhere. Had to pay extra for a bottle of water I could have bought on the way and no cutlery or share plates provided until we were almost finished our meal. So if you want to train the staff as a customer then keep reminding them it is a service industry or go elsewhere. I took a photo of the view from the terrace. Like the food uninspiring.

Ambience is okay but both food and service is sub par. Unless you are there for a quick drink I wouldn't recommend this place. Oh Btw they even round up the change

Amazing food, great prices, and big portions! We went for lunch on a Friday and there was a taco special - 15k each taco, and they were delicious! We came back for breakfast this morning and lunch this afternoon and everything was so good. Our favorites: Smoothie bowls! Poke bowl Ceviche Ginger glazed chicken Falafels Spring rolls

We ordered 5 dishes, most of them sucked. Beef rendang only 3 pieces of meat which were very tough and dry. There were baby potatoes in it, which was very weird. Pad Thai with prawns had bean sprouts and chives that were uncooked accompanying the dish, would have been much better if cooked and mixed well. Steak sandwich beef was tough and bread was tough. Vietnamese rice spring rolls were tasteless and wrapped very lousily, stuck to one another and fell apart from the start. Nasi goreng dish was the best. Complimentary pumpkin soup was good. Juices were alright. Coconuts were not fresh. Seats couldn't take a group of 8 properly. Space is squeezy and too near traffic. Indoors too dim. Service wasn't great. By far the worst meal of our holiday. Wouldn't recommend.

It’s my first time to come to this resto. It’s a gem. Definitely will come back here for our next meals. The food are presented professionally and it has exceptionally delicious taste. I’m going to comment under each photo. Plus they have great promotion price for menu and for cocktails. Double happiness!!!

Delicious portion of tom yum soup seafood! We had the food delivered. Royal fried rice seafood was also very good, fulfilling portion too. Nice meals! However, the chicken quesadilla was rather bland, and too dry. They can make huge improvement on the avocado sauce that came with it too. We spent IDR 201.000 for three meals.

I can't begin to describe how amazing the food was! Service was polite and quick. The ambience was cosy minus the street movement of cars. But the food.... It was impeccable! Fresh, hot and delicious! Tom Yum Soup: Authentic, delicious and great serving portion Vegetarian Dim Sum: Outstanding! It was hot and steaming served in the box. Tasted amazing! Basil Vegetarian Taco: It was the highlight of the meal! I would never have imagined sweet potatoes, pumpkin seeds, their special sauces, feta cheese and corn could create such magical flavors! I would go back especially for this dish! If I could ever get my hands on the precise recipe, I totally would! Would definitely recommend this place! It's a hidden gem!

Thank you for an unbelievable lunch today. Those Vietnamese Spring Rolls with that winner of a Sate sauce and our Smashed Avocado late breakfast plate were all simply spot on. Your pricing also represents great value. We will return.

I liked this resto so much that I don't want to write a review to get a lot of people there, but on the other hand, I would like to have a place like this to share with me. I liked all the food there. The only thing I missed was the MANGO STICKY RICE in the desserts, please add it to a menu. I wish you all the best, Basil resto 🤗

This is one of the BEST breakfast/lunch places in the area! I’ve been here several times during my visit to Seminyak and always get the healthy chicken bowl (although they have many food options). The staff are friendly and everything is made fresh! I definitely recommend trying it once! You may find yourself coming back again and again 😋💗✨

Lovely Cafe with fresh yummy food for a fair price. We had fruit bowls, bacon and eggs, avo on sourdough, and a burrito. All delicious. Food was promptly made. Staff are nice also.

Great spot for good, fresh, reasonably priced healthy food. I loved the tacos. On a busy street so can get a bit loud. Not the type of place to stay and hang. It didn’t seem like much of a place to eat inside.

Delicious food. Fantastic service. Great prices. Quality ingredients prepared well. Was recommend by two friends who ate here a lot. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here. None of us got sick. Recommend cocktails, pad thai and omelette. Lots of vegetarian and GF options. Quieter place down side street. Nicely decorated. Shady with fans to keep cool. Special touches like wet cloth to clean hands on arrival. Come and enjoy, you won't regret it.

Beef Rendang was phenomenal. Our last night in Bali and had to have fried rice and it didn’t disappoint. Our waitress Guna was very attentive and friendly. Love the decor especially the centrepiece light shade. Chill vibe with funky music.

Good variety and prices, depending on the dish some portions are not so big yet you can always get more than one. Very tasty veggie burger. Service could definitely be better. Worth going on taco Tuesdays.

Yummy tacos, especially the fish and shrimp tacos. Their healthy bowl was amazing as well, very refreshing. The only downside was there’s just sooo many flies flying around. Otherwise I would give 5/5 I recommend!

They really need to improve this Ceviche. Only find few like 5 slice of fish. And not really sour and cooked it well with lime. Pad thai was ok.

Basil kitchen is one of my favorite places to eat in Seminyak. Not only do they have a lot of options but all of the options are delicious and reasonably priced. I enjoy the atmosphere and the staff are all very friendly. Also, they’ve got one of the better smoothie bowls I’ve tried in Bali. I’m pretty sure they’re still running a lot of promos throughout the week as well. Go check them out.

Basils was recommended by another tourist so we were keen to try it. Great quality, freshly cooked food. So affordable. We had lunch and went back for cocktails and evening dinner. Loved the extra touches - Cloth napkins and comfortable chairs. Cool damp towel to refresh your hands too. Definitely recommend.

Fresh tasty food, well presented, and affordable. Most dishes are 50k. The tacos are fresh and yummy. The cheese cake i super ! Sort of half frozen and not too sweet 👍

Was out second time eating here. First time had a wonderful breakfast experience, now an even better dinner experience. Ordered tom yam and poke bowl. For Bali standards this is exceptionally tasty for the price.

Guys, one year ago you had nice Steak Sandwich. Where is bread now?? It's like bread chips, not bread for sandwich. Thin, dry and not pleasure to eat. Please back normal bread, don't ruin your food runner.

All food is 50k. They sell all day breakfast menu, dinner, and other healthy choices. At 5-8 pm they have happy hour for all cocktail. Overall great food!

Very cozy place to work. Amazingly affordable for Canggu area. And very nice and friendly staffs ;) highly recommended 👍
