Food was pretty good but slightly on the pricier side. menu consisted mostly of vietnamese and thai style dishes Salad was sour and spicy just the way i liked it. Beef pho and Banh Mi was very tasty too. Should be a really good place to dine if there were more promotions happening.

The restaurant is huge, and the interior was lit. The taste is so-so. Why, because the price is not cheap. But the portion was small. and the taste is not what i expected with that price. The bar is nice. If you bring the car, is hard to find the parking area, because the restaurant is by the street directly.

Amaze-wow! I’m super into Vietnamese and this spot is the bomb! The pho brings so much joy with thickly sliced meat. The pork chop is yummy and goes perfectly with the rice. The banh mi and salad are pretty good too. The key is in the sauce, their sauce is especially well made for Vietnamese / Thai food in Indonesia. Good stuff but still have room for improvement in the taste department.

Really good menu and backed up with quality tasting food. Bao buns were soft and juicy as expected, pad Thai held great flavours and wasn’t cheap on chicken or egg in there so plenty for every mouthful, salad was fresh with well balanced flavours. Great atmosphere with lovely staff as to be expected across Bali. Went for lunch and wasn’t to busy but still half full. Would recommend to anyone staying nearby

You won't believe how amazing our experience was at this restaurant! We tried the pho noodles, Spring roll, bahn mi, and kaprao rice, and everything was absolutely delicious. After struggling to find an authentic Vietnamese restaurant, we finally discovered Bo and Bun, which has quickly become one of our all-time favorite spots for Vietnamese cuisine. The staff, especially Gung De, were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere of the restaurant is one-of-a-kind, and we couldn't recommend it more highly. Just be sure to plan ahead for parking, because this restaurant is a must-visit!

Highly marked up prices, the restaurant itself was nice and cozy. Ordered a bowl of so called 12 hours pho, the flavour was different not in a good way in my opinion, it was sweet, I don’t know if that’s how it supposed to be, I’ve been to a lot of pho places, and this is the most expensive (115k/bowl) and strangest pho I’ve ever had, the only good thing was the beef in the pho, meatball pieces was quite bland, and sides of fresh herbs were so little, and after having the pho my throat was a little sore similar like the symptoms of Chinese restaurant syndrome, I’m guessing MSG have been used. Maybe will come back for other foods. Can’t judge the whole restaurant by a single items right?

Bo & Bun has been one of the best restaurant around Seminyak that I've ever been to, the food always good with fresh ingredients and the service is always a five stars to me. They recently launch a new menu, I highly recommend their pork knuckle and don't forget to drop by upstairs they have hidden speakeasy bar on the second floor!!

Beautiful trendy decor and good food! We ordered the «Bao Gao Pork Belly» - good, the «Pandan Chicken» - okay, the «Vietnamese Spring Roll» - good but VERY salty, the «Bo&Bun Bulgogi Fries» - quite good, probably our favorite plate but a little expensive for the size of the plate, and the «Pork Chop with Jasmine Rice» - okay. We recommend eating here and sharing plates.

Bo & Bun is a Vietnamese inspired restaurant with a romantic French bistro decor. The service is second to none and the Pho is probably the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Spicy Lemongrass Beef Pho and the 12 Hour Pho, the broth is so deep and flavoursome! Definitely also get the Korean Fried Chicken Wings. Everything else was nice enough but had its faults. The Pad Thai had more tofu than chicken, the Thai Green Curry was a little watery, the Spring Rolls were soggy and limp and the Bao Buns were too dry. If I was scoring based on the recommended dishes it would’ve been a 5/5. The cocktails here are also amazing!

Authentic Thai & Vietnamese delicacies in an elegant, vibrant environment. The place is packed , even on a Monday. Same owners as the Wild Habits Pizza , they share part of the menu ( creme brule, for example, and some drinks). I loved the Thai fish cakes and the Vietnamese Spring Roll. The Korean Style chicken wings were too heavy and spicy. Don't take them

Delicious. Fresh. Flavoursome. 4 adults dining. Mains and dessert. Bahn Mi, Thai green curry and 2 salad glass noodle bowls. All amazingly fresh ingredients. All 4 juice drinks very refreshing. All 4 desserts above average. Waiters accommodating and very attentive. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Went here for Sunday brunch and had a wonderful experience. Our server, Gung de, was so friendly and welcoming. For it being an open restaurant, it was nice and cool with fans on, and we didn’t have any issues with bugs flying around our food until just before we left, but we were finished eating by that point. We tried one cocktail from the brunch menu, and a frozen margarita. Both drinks were presented beautifully, but tasted average. The brunch menu was huge! It came with a starter, appetizer, main/entree, and dessert. We had no idea what we were getting into. The only downside is each person had to order their own items (we assumed the restaurant had some type of ‘no sharing’ policy). We didn’t understand this until two starters and appetizers came to the table. We tried to pace ourselves and just nibble on the appetizer tray, but everything was so delicious. We managed to save room for our main dishes, but dessert was a bust. We were so full that we could only take a bite or two. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend the Sunday brunch. Just pace yourself and try not to feast on the appetizers.

Stopped in for dinner during happy hour and we were happy to find a table with some AC. We ordered the try everything which included: Bao Gao/ Pandan Chicken/ Spring roll/ Fresh Paper Rolls/ Korean Fried Chicken Wings. My favorites were the bao and fresh spring rolls. I thought the KFC was a bit dry but there was good flavor. The fresh paper rolls were soggy but also had good flavor. We also ordered 12 hour pho (with coriander). The soup broth is close to traditional pho. Beef comes in small pieces, they use large noodles and the bean sprouts looked questionable. The chicken satay comes in large quantities and is very flavorful. The pickled vegetables would be better chilled in my opinion. The papaya salad was good, with unique flavors from the grapefruit and the gai lan was tasty. Ginger mojito is light in the ginger flavor and the Vietnamese iced coffee is also lighter than what I’m used to and comes with a lot of little pieces of ice. Cool vibe, clean bathrooms. All staff were attentive and friendly, especially our waitress Santy.

Food was great ! Had the “everything” and everything was good except the Korean fried chicken sauce was very heavy, fresh spring roll were very fresh best out of all. Pho was good, like what you get if you really in Vietnam. Our server Jojo was so sweet, came to check on us and recommended food to us. 10/10 for the cold towels they give you at the beginning

I can only give 3 stars to my meal. I had pork fried rice and steamed chicken wrapped in banana leaves … taste was okay but it was WAY TOO OILY. There’s no need to use that much cooking oil guys! On the plus my waiter Kris was wonderful and attentive. I’m giving him 5 stars for professional, welcoming service.

Had a fantastic Sunday brunch, and especially appreciated that many dishes could be made vegetarian. Great value for the Sunday brunch menu - rice paper rolls, unlimited starters, main, dessert, and a drink! Thanks to the lovely Suma for looking after us so nicely. Highly recommended

Heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and it did not meet my expectations at all. Asked the waitress for the recommendation and ordered pad thai as per her recommendation Oh boy, horrible horrible pad thai Probably the worst pad Thai I've ever had, all i can taste was sweetness as if they run out of other ingredients, poor presentation, soggy noodles Told the waitress what my problem is and she said she would replace it but all she did was toss it in the wok and add a bit of lime and now it's very sour! Tried the korean fried chicken which was equally horrendous, no spice to it at al I dont think i would ever come back to this restaurant

Love the pho and the wok pork fried rice! And they're having a nice promo where you only pay IDR80k per menu and you also get a free drink. I'm not sure until when but we were blessed to get it. The interior design is very nice and the service is very friendly. Will go back!

Beautiful Thai/Vietnamese restaurant. Pretty good pricing also. Paid about 500k IDR for two people with a starter and main. Food was bold, flavourful and wonderfully cooked. Highly recommend the Spicy Lemongrass Pho 🤤 Service was good, fast and polite waiters. Will be returning to try some other dishes soon.

We went twice and over-ordered twice. Can't pick with so many good choices, it was so delicious. As a Vietnamese person I can attest there is a lot of authentic flavors here, especially the pho has a good long-simmer broth. You know because after eating you can feel the collageen in the soup. Atmosphere is great for dates. While they cater to kids too with a coloring placemat and special kids menu, it's a bit dark.

Had a great time here with a big group and we had a variety of dishes. Wasn’t happy with the selection of cocktails as they didn’t have the classics unlike most other places. Food was ok and some were better than others. Had the pork ribs which was one of the more expensive items on the menu and there was nothing too special about it. The decor and vibe was great though so it makes it worthwhile to go.

Delicious Vietnamese dishes! But unfortunately they don't have parking space for cars. Please do like Biku. Their food are inexpensive but but they still can have staff for valet service!

  • 5/5 Marlee C. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful restaurant, really lovely decor, romantic and intimate. I enjoyed the food and the menu is epic, expensive for Bali standards and serving sizes are on the smaller size but they taste fantastic! Great veggo options and delicious house specialty drinks. All with fresh fruit, some authentic Vietnamese flavours. Will come again!

delicious food, healthy herbs and spices, Nice service from the nice server they always smile, Freshness came from the good quality of kitchen The 12 Hour Pho is My favorite the only thing I can enjoy it, But the price is quiet expensive for the food they serve cause comparing to the same kind of restaurant for example "Saigon Delight" but shame is in Jakarta, there is same price but more tasteful, quantity, and menu. Bo&Bun have to Make a reasonable price for the food they have, just my opinion. Thank you

Fabulous food! Very tasty, full of favour. We had the lemongrass pho, soo good! Husband had the pork belly stir fry. Kids had the chicken satay which came with rice or chips, juice and a watermelon. Lovely cocktails too. Will definitely recommend to friends and will be back to try more of the menu!

We stopped here for dinner since it was located right by our Villa. We were so pleased that we did, as the menu was great. We explored many thigs on the menu “family style” so we could all try a bit of everything. They had some great cocktails, and we were excited to find out that there was a speakeasy upstairs. The service was great, and the food quality amazing and had great flavors and spice. We returned here for lunch later in the week because we enjoyed it so much! If you are visiting the town, make sure to stop by, you will not regret it.

We LOVED dining at Bo & Bun! Everything from the food, cocktails, service and atmosphere was amazing! We were a large group and ordered the banquet - which was exceptional! The staff were so attentive and kind and made sure everyone was happy! Also, the secret bar upstairs was so cool for a post-dinner drink! We loved every minute! We will definitely be back! Five stars!!

Yeah I know, I was craving for Vietnamese food in Bali. But good thing I was!!! The 12 hr Pho was amazing! Ate to the last drop. I got in before it got crowded, so I recommend booking a table ahead of time.

Bo & Bun in Bali is the perfect pho/bar spot in Bali! Their pho is hands down the best I've had on the island, and their cocktails are amazing. Don't miss the happy hour from 3pm to 6pm, where you can buy one and get one free. Plus, they have a great kid's meal option, and the service is super friendly. Make sure to give it a try!

Very good pho and buns. We took chicken and beef pho. You can add spices yourself, so you can adjust spiciness. Buns are small but very tasty, they come with 2 buns per portion. They bring food pretty fast. Very pleasant interior.

The food was great and very few remarka would need to make for improvement. maybe lack of teas (proper tea) instead of the bag ones, and some more smiles from staff which was friendly anyway. In normal condition prices are 8-10$/portion pho which is delicious but i think it is totally over budget comparing the actual market right now. we were happy to check on their offers and promos which were great! probably the best Pho or Beef Noodles we had in 2020 since left China. but the little issue is the price IOO. All good looking forward to come back again

Disgust. That's is unfortunately the word I have for the Pho I got here. The flavor profile is completely off, and they charge you like it's fancy food. 140k nett for a bowl of noodles that I immediately threw away. There are Vietnamese restaurants in the area with one-third the price that serve actually enjoyable food. We were the only customers during the peak hours: That's saying something.

Nice to be back... I’ve been a little naughty and spending time at the new viet resto in town but tonight that place was rude about having our awesome Pug in so we went back to Bo n Bun and had a fantastic dinner, new pricing for the times and excellent food. Most importantly they exercise common sense and don’t make a big deal about a small little dog at the restaurant. Thanks and it’s very nice to be back ✅💯

(Translated by Google) Many menu variants (asian fusion) and on average all delicious. The place is comfortable. Eating on the ground floor (non AC) but not too hot. The drawback may only be in the parking lot, because there is no dedicated parking area, so you have to park in front of a local shop. But during this pandemic it is quite easy to park because the shops next to it are closed. Currently there is an 80 thousand promo and free drinks. But don't know how long the promo period is. Worth the visit! Will be back to try another menu. (Original) Banyak varian menu (asian fusion) dan rata rata enak semua. Tempat nya nyaman. Worth the visit! Akan kembali untuk mencoba menu lain.
