The last time we ate at Raja Bali was in 2018. This time, we brought our family and celebrated our 25 wedding anniversary. We all agreed that we had a wonderful dinner because of both quality Balinese food & service. Meda made us feel at home with her friendly disposition and attentive service. She recommended that we could get 2 sets instead of 3 to share among 6 of us. She was right as the portions were just nice for us, and no wastage. The restaurant provides free transport to & fro from our hotel; that was really convenient & helped to make our holiday stress free. Would definitely recommend Raja Bali if you are staying at Nusa Dua resorts (area). Give them a call to make reservation. Business is still slow in Nusa Dua in June, and many shops and restaurants are still closed. Thankful that this restaurant is still thriving! Do go and support them!

This is becoming one of our must-go restaurant whenever we're in Bali. The food is authentic and delicious! Our favorite was the Crispy Duck (the best we had in Nusa Dua area). Beef Rendang came in a close second. Kare Sayur (curry vegetable) was also good for those who like the taste of lemak. For dessert, we enjoyed their pisang goreng (fried banana) and Balinese Cake platter. The service in this restaurant is very good. The wait staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Just go with the dinner set for 2! The meat is just nicely cooked with spice! Taste of prawn, fish, beef, chicken and pork in 1 goal! Complete the meal with dessert! No need struggling in Ala carte order!

But not only that - when the staff found out it was our honeymoon, they put together a personal dessert for us, sang us a song, and took photos for us. Picked this restaurant for dinner on our last evening in Bali and I cant be happier. The food is great, carefully made. The service is top notch and all the staff are so friendly. Love this place so much and will come back in my next trip to Bali. Kudos to them for surviving 2 hard years of Covid!

Had dinner here on our last night in Bali, and it was delicious! We walked here, but the restaurant organized transport for us to go back. The food was great, we enjoyed everything, especially the assorted skewers and their sambal! Service was also very attentive, staff were very kind and helpful. It’s al fresco seating, we had good weather, so it wasn’t an issue for us then, but they have some indoor seating as well. Priced reasonably, it might have been one of our favorite food visits of our whole trip!

Overall all dishes taste good particularly stew pork, chicken curry and the black rice dessert. But gave it a 4 star as I felt the set for 2 is a little overpriced after trying it. I will come back for the individual mains though.

We came back another day and ordered from the a la carte menu (beef rendang and skewers) which was also fantastic The staff there are all very friendly and attentive. They even remembered our names when we visited them the second time! They have both indoor and outdoor (undercover) seating and can provide free shuttle to and from your hotel in Nusa dua. Prices are higher than rest of Bali but reasonable for Nusa Dua area. Would highly recommend !

Glad to have discovered this restaurant. It serves authentic balinese cuisine in a very original environment. First thing that greeted us was a welcome drink as well as a sate for each in our group. That was truly a pleasant surprise. We ordered the Rijsttafel and a snapper fish meal. The dishes served with the rijsttafel were really good. Portion was large for 2 smallish eaters. It was effectively a 4 course meal ie chicken soup, appetizers (1 sate lilit and a fish salad each), main course (a bowl of rice, 3 meat dishes, 2 veggie dishes, a piece of grilled mahi mahi fish, grilled prawns and the accompainment sambals) and desserts (nasi hitam with coconut juice, traditional balinese kuih and a bowl of fruits). The grilled snapper was pretty good. We opted for the no spicy sauce. Service staff was very welcoming. Ari took and effort to get to know us and remember our names. If there was a 6 star rating, this establishment should deserve it IMHO.

We came here after reading the awesome reviews and those reviews are legit. The beef rendang, half crispy duck, and chicken mince meat skewers were all delicious! They give prawn crackers with a delicious shrimp based sauce. Recommend to eat here and I would eat here again and again if I can. It shares along with another restaurant for us as best Bali restaurant.

Highly recommended! We ordered bali rijsttafel for 2 pax and totally loved the appetizers & mains (the combination of dishes is so yummm)! By default the dishes are non spicy, even sambal matah is surprisingly not spicy at all - Yay for people with gastric problems like me! 😄 however, level of spicy-ness can be adjusted (chilli is separated out and can be added to your liking) - to cater for both foreigners and locals. Nice ambiance, staff are friendly and services are excellent as well.

Our server Ari was firstly so incredibly friendly but what really blew us away and which to us made the experience so unforgettable is that it was our daughters 7th birthday and during conversation with Ari our server, our daughter was telling Ari about her birthday and without any prompting Ari secretly organised a little birthday celebration with a little cake and candles and all the staff came together to sing Happy Birthday to our daughter. To say we were all blown away is an understatement. Ari nor any of the staff didn't have to do this yet they did and this to me is what sets this restaurant in a league of their own. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Also if you're close they will pick up and drop you off. They also suprised us for our honeymoon. The vibes is cosy an romantic. Highly recommend it.
