Terrible mismanagement and dilapidated. More of a dim creepy shrine than a museum. Nothing educational, just tons of framed pictures, bad paintings and some moldy artifacts strewn about. I was so sad that there was even ancient Sanskrit writing on palm fronds that the “staff” just handled with bare hands. The unfriendly staff even asked for a picture with us! No AC, so every room was stuffy and hot. Incredibly overpriced at Rp. 50.000 for internationals including kitas holders. No receipt, so I’m pretty sure none of it will go to fixing this mess of “museum”. Do not go.

If you wanna know more about Indonesia's 1st President life then you have to visit this gorgeous place. Soekarno's legacies and his stuffs well stored here. There is special guide that will tell you some of the stories from the heritage stuffs here. Ticket fee as of now is IDR 25.000 and really worthy for me as museum lover and Soekarnoist. You can take so many pictures here but don't touch anything. A nice place and recommended when you go to Denpasar, Bali.

This museum contains so many original and portraits and even furniture of Soekarno's. It successfully brings a vibe of old times like we're being drowned to Soekarno's era. There are also some works written by Soekarno as well as others works related to the 1st President of Indonesia. It's unfortunate that the place is rather hard to spot even if located in the main street (less visible banner and such). The parking lot too is questionable. I went by motorcycle so I could park it beside the museum but it seems there is no special area for parking your vehicle. The staff at the time I went there busy to chitchat with others and it seemed that my presence only been recognized after I spent several minutes around the blank receptionist desk. I'd like the service and hospitality to get improved here.

Contain collection of Indonesia's 1st president item. But i must admit the place has seen better days. Some collection are not properly maintained and kept in a safe storage, when i got there the place is hot and humid (ac is off). Parking is almost non existent On the plus side, staff is polite, friendly, and has enthusiastic in explaining the collection. So kudos for her

This is a very good place to my kiddos for learning about history. They can see in concrete way what Pak Karno has been done to this country. Even me & hubby were very enjoying here 💝💝💝

It's not worth the fee (50k). It's historical material, but all so bad in shape. The car was not there: revision they said.

Great place to learn more about Soekarno, the founding father of Indonesia. The museum house some of his private collections, gifts to him and documentations about him. You can learn about his impact as a leader here on the ground floor. However on the second floor, his private collection is not properly maintained, the condition is degrading. Would be great if there are context or explanations put for his collection. At the very least, would love to see his collections preserved more carefully.

The Bung Karno Museum, is a museum that holds so many historical relics that are associated with the first president of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir Soekarno. In this museum we will find a collection of books which he had studied, paintings, personal items and miniatures of Bung Karno's houses at that time. Located right on the west side of downtown Denpasar, not far from Puputan Renon, you can visit this museum with your family from Monday to Saturday, but unfortunately the museum will be closed on Sundays.

The front office answered my queston with a rude tone and i was asking questions with a respectful tone. Is it because im a university student and trying to do interviews with the management?idk lol I hope the management see this review and tried to apply hospitality studies on this musuem. Didn't even get to do the interview lmaooo

The museum dedicated to Bung Karno is unfortunately a mockery. There is really nothing significant to see and the reproductions are of poor quality. There is not much original to see: mostly in bad condition. English explanation is missing. You would almost think that this museum is a joke from Suharto.

Small museum of Indonesian first president. Some interesting historical materials, but presented very randomly, and don't seem to be maintained properly.

Personally, i like to known the history of our first president in this museum, turns out not really getting anything. In the museum you will get to see the personal collections most of it. Unfortunately, the collection wasn't properly preserved. There's no much information written about the collection. In the second floor, is so hot and the light nearly went out, it's a bit dark and turns kinda scary. If you already have an idea about Soekarno at first and want to know more in personal perspective, maybe it's fit for you. But if you're just bluntly went, not really recommended.
