The best vegan Indian restaurant in Canggu. I underestimate about this restaurant when I first stop by here but definitely it is a recommended vegan Indian restaurant in Canggu. I love their samosa, and thali is so good. The curry is so thick and aromatic. Naan is crispy but still has it tenderness. Love it so much. It’s a small place but definitely will come back for tea time.

Indian food is vegetarian and vegan friendly. Cruelty-free platters and plant-based curries aren’t your only options at Roti Daal. Bursting with flavour (and lots of love), they offer a range of 100+ Indian staples. If you can’t decide what to eat, opt for the Thali to enjoy the best of everything! Their menu changes every day since they pride themselves in using only fresh, seasonal produce. The food contains very little oil, fewer spices and absolutely no colourings or preservatives. Expect authentic home-style food from all the regions of India. The average cost per person: Rp 75,000

Look no further if you’re craving for some authentic samosas. Chai + samosas = delicious afternoon snacks. Tried the thali plate and they’re also delicious! Yummm...

Cute little roti shop. Nicely decorated. Service is fantastic. I felt like the prices were to high for what you get. But, they did give us some samples of the different types of curries and daal. We ate plain naan bread with 1 curry. I ordered a chai tea and it was horrible, tasted like hot milk, nothing like chai. I told them it was bland and I didn’t like it but they didn’t take it off the bill, even tho I didn’t drink it. And I also asked for water...I saw the glass bottles in the fridge. I figured it’s just filtered water they keep cold. Places all over Europe do this. And don’t charge you because it’s not bottled water. They charged us 10,000 for a glass bottle of water that was prob refilled by them. I’d rather pay for a bottle, obviously. So little details like that is why they don’t get a perfect 5* from me. The food was delicious, so if you are craving Indian food go for sure. Just expect them to be cheap about some things that should be part of the experience. Overall it’s still a cool place. Marsala tofu hard. :)

Tasty, mostly authentic north and south Indian food. Still in tourist prices and service mode unfortunately.

Easily one of the most delicious Indian meals I've had on the island! The place has a very warm feel to it, and the staff is very friendly <3 I usually have the Thali of the day and they are very generous with portions. Love the samosas!

I'd been recommended this place by a few people so was excited to try. Despite being a meat eater I enjoyed my vegetarian meal with Indian tea at roti daal. Now why 4 not 5 star? Mainly because I would have liked more variety in the choices for the mains. The dishes, though individually tasty, did end up looking and tasting somewhat similar with the biggest difference being in texture. Maybe it was just the evening that I went.

Quite nice, but Singapore prices! This is Bali, are they paying first world wages, rent, electricity prices. Hmm! Or is it the area that can now command such prices. If you're in the area and fancy Indian vegetarian food then it's worth a try.

Bit pricy, but extremely good vegan Indian food. You'll be surprisingly full with just two dishes!

We went here assuming we will get veg food but when we ordered butter naan it contained egg. So be aware that naan is not purely veg here. Bhaji is good

Loved it here! Great Indian food (mostly South Indian)!😋 Taste is very original (my boyfriend is Indian and we have both lived there, so definitely enough experience haha). Everything is vegetarian, and most things even vegan, which is great! 🌱 The food is also not as heavy and oily as is often the case with Indian food. We really enjoyed the Dosas and Idlis with delicious chutneys. Food is served on banana leafs, which is very authentic and a nice detail. They even made us a special assortment so that we could try all the different menu items (Dahls, chickpea curry, Sambar, Paneer, etc.). The restaurant itself is very pretty and nice to sit! The people are really friendly and kind. After 9:30pm there is a 50% discount on takeaway to fight food waste - love that! Prices are unfortunately a little on the higher side, but you get great quality in return and there is nothing similar in the area. We really liked this place.

Best veg Indian restaurant in all of Bali. I had the Maharani thali which came with 5 options. Soooo delicious and flavorful, worth every penny. The garlic naan is worth coming there alone!! If you're craving for Indian flavours, you must come here.

Love Roti Daal. For just 80k you can mix your carbo here (Naan/Roti/Rice) and get 2 different thali. Try their Chai Tea.

Ate here yesterday for lunch! Wonderful food- had the aloo bhaingan (potato aubergine)and palak paneer (spinach paneer)with naan. So tasty- I didn't know i was missing home food till i came here! Don't drive past this place- give it a try! Yummy!

Me and my friends visited the place after I read many good reviews here. Were there around 6pm, great ambience! We ordered some naan and thali, it's delicious. The thing that seriously need to be improved is drink quality. Chai and coffee doesn't taste good, it's bland and watery. It's worth to try for the foods, but don't expect a decent drink.

Without a Doubt, they serve the best Indian food in Bali. Multiple locations and all of them are fantastic. I love all the items. Especially the vegan items on their list. Super delicious. Pav Bhaji is lip smacking good.
