A well maintained great place to spent an evening. The management should be appreciated for the maintainance. This is a plastic free echo friendly place to hangout with friends or family. Watching sunset from here can be a fantastic experience. The wind wasn't as strong as I imagined, but it was probably due to the timing. The view and experience was amazing. May be more greenery would be visible just after the rainy season, but the place is still gorgeous. If you are visiting Idukki, this is one of those places you must visit. It can be crowded at morning and evening times, but there is always space to spend time with your own group. There is a small stall to buy snacks, tea etc. But make sure no waste is deposited in the area. Highly recommended for a family visit. They will charge 20 for adults and 10 for children as entry charge.

The epic sunrise when the place opens at 6 am is mind-blowing. The quiet scenary along with lush greenery makes morning walks legendary. You can even see eagles flying nonchalantly around you basking the morning shine. If you want a undisturbed morning sunrise THIS IS THE PLACE.

This place used to be unknown and now it's has become extremely popular. The government did a good job by constructing building and roads for the visitors. Just come here relax and enjoy the nature. There are varieties of wild flowers scattered everywhere, we don't see them anywhere else. I have just posted a few photos of them.

It is an amazing location with great views. Since it is less tourist influenced than Parunthumpara it is very neat and clean and has a natural feel to it. There is a temple, a cave some pond/well etc. Nice grassland type of surroundings. The drive up the hill is also pretty scenic. On a clear day the view of surrounding hills should also be very scenic.

One of the best places to visit in idukki , the major attraction is the mind blowing climate and the exciting view from the peak even in the middle of the day the ‘ Airconditioned’ like breeze will cherish you, such a pleasing place to be at . Reaching there will be like an adventure bcz of the steep roads and hairpin bends but it will be worth the risk when once get there . Other than the view point there located somekinds of religious things out there , Now there is a little entry fee also there. This place is located near Kuttikkanam in Peerumedu the myth behind the name “Panchalimedu” is Pandavas along with their spouse Panchali had a sojourn there at time of one-year exile. Hence the place got its name Panchalimedu which derived from the words "Panchali" (Draupadi) and "medu" (hill). Must visit ,

Serene and peaceful place to be. 😇 Went here yesterday morning. They follow social distancing and covid protocols. Officials at the entrance asked us for vaccine certificate to let us in. And the entrance fee was Rs.20 per head for adults. There was a small shop right when you enter where we had amazing samosas and chai. Then we started walking towards the view point. 20min walk to the breathtaking view point where the path got foggy and misty. Just what we didn’t wanna miss😍 Clicked so many beautiful snaps. Overall thrilling amd amazing experience. Just couldn’t get enough of the serenity. 😇

Panchalimedu is a hill station and view point near Kuttikkanam in Peerumedu tehsil of Idukki district in the Indian state of Kerala. On the Makar Sankranti day, many Ayyappa devotees camps there to witness the sacred Makaravilakku that appears in the Ponnambalamedu near Sabarimala temple. Beautiful place to visit with family and friends. It is surrounded with beautiful views. A pace for one time visit. There is nothing much to see, but the hilltop view is pretty good.🔥 I recommend the morning and evening visits. There are some shelters in the case of an unexpected rain. Littering is strictly prohibited and the staffs are doing their best efforts to make this place clean. Still some illiterate idiots are dropped plastic bottles, and we collected some of those visible bottles and put in the waste bin 😇. This place could have been better. I wish the government will provide more funding for taking the full advantage of this hilltop area for visitors. Have a nominal entry fee…. Entry fee: ₹20/- (for adults) ₹10/- (for kids)

Stunning view from the mountain top. Landscape is ever changing due to the fog and clouds and the wind that brings them. The place is well maintained and is under construction in some areas. Overall it's a great visit and recomend it to anyone.

Amazing place with amazing views from the top of the mountain peak. Very serene atmosphere. You will get fresh air here always. Coming here at around 6am or 4pm will be most recommended as you can get the best experience at that time. You will get the fog coming from the rain clouds completely covering you which is a great experience. To reach here you have to take right turn from Murinjapuzha junction in the KK road and from there it's about 3-4km. There is also two Ksrtc bus services to Kanankavayal at different intervals.

Beautiful place and the view ⛰️ is amazing. The cold 🍃 wind 🌬️ and the 🪨 resting sheds this combo will make fresh. Per person 25₹ for adults and 15 for children's and that worth for ecologist.

Nice place to hang out with friends and family. In the notch of a little mist bliss after a rain the place feels like heaven. A must visit place in the rainy season.a very nice walkable stretch with a mix of art and nature calling you awaits there. You should also visit the same place on a sunny day as well to enjoy the view from the hill top. Hope you guys will visit the place for sure.

It's stunning Hill peak, view from on top is mind-blowing, you have to take turn from Kottayam-Kumili SH and again there will be 6 Km ride to reach on top. No parking spots you could use the road sides. There is Entry fee for adults it's 25. You can walk through stone paved way initially and wheelchairs are accessible through these terrain and at the end from there we need to hike to the hill tops , plenty of seatings available some are in the form of mandapam were we can sit and have fresh breath of air and have stunning view of mountains and clouds passing through this. lots of cross sighted and it's a Marian pilgrimage centre also at last when we're off there is small shop at the entrance where we can have Tea and snacks. It's well recommended for the peaceful nature and the climate.

We visited during July. The complete place was covered in fog, so we couldn't see much. The place is very well maintained and net and the structures are all very beautiful. Try to visit after the rains to see the view.

Abeautiful and cool misty mountains with green meadows near Kuttikanam enroute to kumily. Its a lovely spot for a day trip. Climb, walk over the green meadows accompanied by cool breeze and mist....relax.... It was not a popular spot earlier. How ever tourism dept has started to make it a major attraction (Eco tourism ). 20 rs entry ticket to be purchased at the entry gate. Resorts and vacation homes are coming up in and around panchalimedu. A small temple dedicated to Bhuvaneswari devi is situated on top. Couple of snack shops are available inside the panchalimedu premise for refreshments. The locals says, On a clear day , go to the top most part and you can even see the Alapuzha light house. Makarajyoti can be viewed from here clearly.

Good place to hangout. Beautiful 360 degree view. There aren’t many shops for refreshments. No dedicated parking spots. You have to park your vehicle on roadside at your own risk. There is no need to buy tickets if your a devotee visiting the temple and you can access the temple parking ground.
