Without doubt one of the favourite resorts I stayed during my time in Alleppey! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff, our names were mentioned on the board and we were even given an upgrade to a higher Suite. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Excellent property and very convenient for kayaking and boating activities. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Overall, I had a great experience with Chaandhni Lake View Resort. Hope to return again very soon.

Our stay was perfect here. The rooms were extra clean. We had booked 5 rooms and from all the rooms, lake view was perfect. All food items served were homely and delicious. Also, hospitality of staffs is commentable! We are glad we chose this resort!😊😊

I had booked Deluxe room for 2 nights with MakeMyTrip. All female travelers. We arrived by late evening, and nothing was working in their Deluxe room. Plastic chairs in the room, washroom not good. It was basically like a staff room with AC. Geyser switch was outside their washroom, and the staff didn't even bother to update us on check-in. During our entire Kerala trip, this was the first hotel which offered only mattress without bed for a 3rd occupant. After heated arguments, they offered to upgrade the room on paying extra amount, to which I obviously denied for just night time. Would like to point out that at least 2 rooms were vacant where they could've upgraded us. Later their electrician managed to get the appliances working and despite of paying for a 3rd occupant, they gave us a folding wrought iron bed with extra long mattress which was kinda alleviated from one side. Their attitude was like because you are not comfortable, we are doing you a favor by providing this folding bed. Next day, I paid extra amount to switch to a better room and opted for Family suite and still had to compromise with the same alleviated folding bed with extra long mattress. The only plus point was they had backwaters just on their backside, so early morning experience was superb. Had booked Shikara ride with them only to save time, but honestly this was the only thing that lifted up my mood. On the second day, the staff had a little improvement in their behavior though. Family suite room was a spacious room with clean and hygienic washroom, and is good only if there's no 3rd occupant, unless you're ready to sleep on their L-shaped sofa or mattress on the ground. This detailed review is not for the hotel, because they are least likely to improve, this is just for the travelers who misses a very important thing that mattress will be provided, which literally means ONLY MATTRESS WITHOUT BED

The property gets approval on 3 fronts. 1. Location - It's stationed at the very spot that could not be more convenient and refreshing for someone who enjoys a beautiful view of the lake. 2. Sanitation - The rooms and amenities are maintained scrupulously well by the owner and staff. 3. Service - At any given juncture, the staff at the resort are responsive, quick and helpful in getting what you need. Much recommended if you're looking for an affordable getaway by the lake with quality rooms and services.

Property is situated at good location. You can directly get Shikara boats from the hotel itself. Service is good and owners are ready to help in any case. Staff behaviour is good and safety and hygiene is taken care by them. It is a good property in budget. Deducting one star for food as it is not available if you don't book it in advance and complimentary breakfast is also not good in taste. They need to improve a lot in food department. Maybe the food is good for non vegetarians as I can't comment on that.

Great location as all our water activities were within walking distance. The view is beautiful and the service was superb. The staff took really good care of us and we had really awesome food in their restaurant.

I stayed here twice, with family and friends. Nice premium rooms with private Lakeview balcony. Will recommend to anyone.

Undoubtedly, the best stay at Alappuzha. Spacious Lake View Rooms with affordable packages. The management team is very friendly and hospitable. You could also contact the desk for water sports like kayaking, etc.

Had a memorable staycation at this resort with my friends. We were an all girls group and the staff made us feel safe and welcome. From the magnificent view (from my room) of the Punnamada backwaters with houseboats cruising around to the impeccable room service, it's perfect for a relaxing weekend. If you are the outdoorsy type, you can go kayaking or opt for a ride on the houseboat to take in the picturesque scenery. Last but not the least, the in-house restaurant serves a mean fresh fish platter.

Good ambience, Lake view rooms, neat clean comfortable and well arranged rooms. Courteous staff, Well cared management, Parking facility, Well maintained swimming pool. Delicious, tasty and homely food. Entry to the boat service from the compound itself. A nice place to stay for couple and family. Really a home away from home.

Amazing stay we had here. Location - 10min from city limits located on the side of backwaters where boathouses are easily accessible from this hotel and with a great view. Parking - available Swimming pool - available but no privacy as it is located nxt to parking openly. Rooms - excellent, clean, great ambience with proper sanitization and ambient lighting. Front desk - friendly, co operative, smiling faces, proper guidance, easy check in with basic id cards. Highlights - they can arrange boat rides and boat houses accordingly to the requirements, ayurvedic spa available ( didn't use, so no idea how it is ), morning buffet breakfast available. Best location and awesome room (Super Delux). Lake is just opposite the parking area and the view is fantastic. Staff is friendly and helps you with any information you want, they can even arrange house boating for you. Overall experience was best along with decent charges.

Great location right by the waterway. Offers amazing views of the backwaters and the palm trees. You can get off your boat ride and walk right into the resort. They also have a high viewing platform to get an unobstructed view. The resort has a large area, a swimming pool and plenty of play area for kids. The rooms are spacious. Nothing very top class but fulfills all basic needs so no complaints. The food quality and quantity is very good. They have a unique concept for meals. If you have a food plan, they will cook a fixed menu for you. Neither buffet nor ala carte. The dining area is quite spacious too. They will also ask for feedback which indicates a good focus on improving further. The staff is friendly, professional and prompt. Highly recommended resort to get your money's worth for a stay in Alleppey.

We stayed in chaandhni Lake view resort for 1Night the rooms are so neat and having a safe car parking,this resort is near to backwater so having excellent view from balcony of this resort it's near to boat race starting point, we can enjoy by seeing the local people boats and house boats going Atlast we booked their house boat service it is excellent and the receptionist Ayub guide us and take care of us other staffs are also very kind and friendly, food is also great there. we have enjoy the trip by staying in this beautiful place.

We had a nice time at this place tucked bit away from town. Very spacious clean rooms, friendly staff. We had a chance to interact with the owner of the property. We even had the previlege to hear his daughter singing exclusively for us. That was a nice gesture on the part of that bright young girl. We were really honoured by that. An easy access to boats is a plus point. Well maintained premises.Though we were bit disapponted with the food, we would certainly recommend this property for someone who is on the look out for a quiet and comfortable place to stay at.

You can spend hours watching boats go by or people casting fishing lines from the balcony of your room. The staff are very courteous and the food while limited on the menu is of great quality. And dont forget to bring your swimming trunks because there is a great pool there! Enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We recently stayed in Honeymoon suite for 3 nights. The room was spacious and hygienic. The view of the channel was very good. The service was courteous. The food was also nice. However the entry from the main road is narrow and inconvenient. The breakfast was just adequate.

The resort is so serene and with amazing lake view. The mornings were amazing. This place is a paradise for photographers. The stay is also good with spacious and clean rooms. They serve complimentary breakfast as well. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

We booked Chandhini Lake View resort based on Google reviews and it turned out to be a great one. The room balcony view right in front of houseboats cruising in the backwaters. We booked Shikara & Kayaking through the front desk person Mr. Ayub. He also helped us in booking auto for local site seeing. Food at restaurant had limited options but was homely. This is much better than going to local restaurants for food. Only suggestion is to fix the balcony door latch which we found it difficult to close from the balcony. Overall it was a great stay @ Chandhini and we would love to come back to this place if we visit Allepey again.

Hotel is good for the price offered.. they provided a complimentary breakfast too and we have requested them for a shikara ride (700 rs) and kayaking(500/person) which they have arranged us. Hotel staffs were were so kind.... the lake view is really mesmerizing...overall a good stay

A beautiful place to stay with very friendly staff and a beautiful view of the backwaters from the honeymoon suite. The owner of the resort Mr. Pappachan made sure that our experience was perfect and all our requirements were met with extra care. He also made arrangements for the boat ride around the backwaters and vehicles for our travel around alleppey. Food was very homely and customized based on our needs. All safety protocols were followed and the entire resort was very clean and hygienic. Highly recommend this place for a memorable and fun stay.

Our stay at Chaandhni lake view resort was pleasent. We got beautiful view of the lake with House boats passing all the time. The trip in a shikkara boat arranged by the staff (paid) was awesome. Facilities in the room are average. Morning breakfast was tasty. It is a perfect place whose primary target is exploring the beauty of the lake than a home stay.

We checked in on 5th of July to this Lake view hotel , the rooms were neat , Crisp and elegant to the max. The Hospitality they provided was Of exquisite quality and the owner was so friendly. It had everything for a pleasant and comforting stay. Kudos !

I wish there were more starts to rate for the wonderful hospitality provided by the owner and team.. We were 07 guests ( 3 Senior citizens and 2 Kids less than 2 years) the owner Mr Gregory who is the owner personally assured that all the members were looked after well and took great care. This included providing rooms with elevators, pick up & drop to the massage center, heating baby food, getting the pool ready. Catering to our request for boat rides and the list goes on... We enjoyed our stay so much that ended up extending our stay by another day. The place is a 2mins walk to the lake and boat ride and has all the required essentials. I would highly recommended this place to anyone planning to visit Allappuza..

Well kept property. More or less all rooms have same view. Ample parking at the front of hotel but it distorts the experience of backwater view. Breakfast was good with limited food options. Preferential treatment in room allotment to package tourist than MMT (/online) customers. So I may not be recommend this if you plan to book via online platform. However, Prefer rooms on the second floor for sound sleep. This is bit far from city center, so you may need a vehicle for local commute. During day time I noticed autos on the main road but not in the evening. Hotel can arrange house boats and Kayak ride. Kayak ride in the evening is must do.

Fantastic place to spend a day. You will get boathouses and any boat ride from here easily. Rooms have all amenities. Staff is very supportive and helpful. We find kitchen staff very nice and helpful.

We had a please stay. The owner of the resort is very helpful and humble. He helped us in always. The staffs carried smile in their face all 4 days. Ayyub is kind and he has supported us well. The place is calm, pleasant and private. The local food served in the restaurant has an authentic touch. Over all nice experience.

Very good atmosphere But staff's behavior is very poor. Last month i am with my friends and families are stay one day there. Night food's are we already ordered with the room booking time. They are not serve our foods. Because the time is 10 pm some of our friends are have the food.Staff's are not taken the confirmation from anybody's and also they are not informed the time also.

Excellent stay! Clean, Hygiene and Beautiful! Service good. There is still scope for increasing the breakfast items on the menu. But the food was good. On the last day, they served a Kerala meal on a banana leaf, which was memorable and delicious! The location is prime and beautiful near Alleppey Backwaters. The view from the room is amazing.
